This Ecozone Biobulb claims to display light to the level of 100 watt old style and certainly in a small table lamp it is surprisingly bright and it does give the promised "white" daylight glow, as opposed to the traditional yellow glow. However used in a standard lamp fitting because of the height of the lamp the quality of the light for reading is not as strong as an old fashioned 100 watt bulb, I tried both.Having said that though, it is by far the best energy saving bulb I have yet used and the joy of this particular size is that it is smaller than many equivalent energy saving bulbs and fits into various smaller lamps of mine that others will not fit into.I recommend it especially for

Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't know this, but the collar that screws onto the rose and which holds your lampshade in place can vary in size. Some are longer than others. Add to that the fact that the white part of the bulb is also wider at the bottom, and you discover that you can't get the bulb into the rose when the collar is in place.For the time being, I'm using the bulb in a different lamp until my electrician can put a new rose into the lamp that I want to use.The light itself is brilliant without glare, which is exactly why I like daylight bulbs. And this one is perfect for reading.

Although the lighting may not have a full CRI by virtue of being flourescent, it is very bright, and very neutral. For a while, the house ran mixed with these and some run-of-the mill warm whites, this would cause one to perceive this light as blue when moving from a "red" room to a "white room", but now the house is now entirely kitted out with daylight bulbs, this issue is not present any longer. If this were to be available in an even brighter variant, I think I would be very happy.

I have been using it since a month, and the product is amazing. It gives you a bright white light unlike those dimm and boring yellow light bulbs. Excellent for reading and crafts work. I had to use the warm yellow bulb for a week or so while I was studying for an exam, and it gave so much stress to my eyes that I started having continuous headaches and pain in eyes. Buying this Ecozone daylight bulb was such a relief for my eyes. Definitely Recommended for the quality!

I had been looking for a bulb of this wattage for some time to use in a study where I do my photography image and print manipulation. The first one arrived broken but was very quickly replaced with no hassle. The light is strange to start with(blue) soon settles to a very clear light. Ideally switch it on a few minutes before you want to do your image manipulation.You very quickly become accustomed to it. For me it certainly does the job.

I am in a good position to write this review as I bought this product to replace the exact same item. I bought the first bulb more than ten years ago so the durability of the bulb is not in question. I lights a fair sized room and does not take time to warm up to work at peak efficiency.While I am lucky enough not to suffer from S.A.D. I do find this product keeps me awake in the winter where as I would usually be nodding off otherwise.

I ordered 2 bulbs to try them out and liked what I saw, so I bought another 2 to make the downstairs all the same. They are bright but a little blue or cool. This is ok depending on your home colours, in the magnolia beige passage it's ok, but in the sitting/dining room with a blue/grey and black combo it makes things look a little harsh......including skintones. If they last as long as they are claimed to they will be worth it.

I have used full spectrum Biobulbs for 12 years+ . Although I don't think I get 10,000 hours from them the light is so good I keep buying them. I feel a lot better health-wise than with the normal yellow light low energy bulbs. Every room in my home is equiped with these bulbs. If you want to improve your mental outlook, disposition, etc., I can only recommend you try them. They may not work for everyone but they do for me.

Ecozone light bulb is the best of the them all on here.It will last a very long time, and will not just blow like all the other I have tried.Ecozone bulb's will last and are very goodSo if you want one that won't blow as soon as you get it, then this is the one .If you buy any other make you might as well give it to a good cause like the RSPCA . As you money would do more good there then it would .

This is an excellent bulb which does give a light that replicates daylight. I bought it so that I could film videos indoors and take photographs with no colour cast and this really does the job. It saves fiddling about with the white balance on your camera. It warms up very quickly - no noticeable lag before it is on full power and the 25w gives off a powerful light. Great if you take photos for eBay.

I have been buying these bulbs for many years, I would never go back to yellow light. I fight Fibromyalgia. These light bulbs help my energy levels. I am able to be active for longer and I am more alert. Don't be put off by the price, it is worth every penny. The bulbs last me years. It takes a couple of days to get used to the light difference, but please persevere, you will never go back!

It was a very dark and very dreary winter. Even my SAD lamp didn't prevent me from the blues and lethargy. Turns out, I had developed a vitamin D deficiency. I ordered these bulbs as an attempt to better brighten my indoor space. I love them. No, they won't cure winter, but they certainly provide a cheerier glow than the warm white of most bulbs. Plus, they are a must in any kitchen.

Very bright white light but may not be up everyone's street. I use this light in my study and it's ideal for that. I tend to find that it keeps me more alert and focussed for longer periods of time. However, I wouldn't recommend it for a living room or bedroom as there's no ambience - it's more practical and functional. Could be good for a kitchen but maybe with a dimmer setting.

Super bright, super easy on the eyes and brilliant for these winter mornings to a) wake me up and b) enable me to put my makeup on at 5:30am without looking like I did it in the dark. This is in our office so it's great as it's so bright, but I'd go for a daylight bulb with less lumens for a bedroom. Definately getting more daylight bulbs for the rest of our home.

I bought these light bulbs with the intention of setting a small home photo studio, to be used as continuous lighting source, and in my opinion, they do the job perfectly. The light is really powerful and up to the task and the best thing is that they are energy saving.The only downside is the fitting type, I would have loved these to be E27 instead of B22.
