I really enjoy using this ! I think it works much better then other beauty sponges on the market. I personally think that this sponge didnt soak up my foundation like others and it leaves a very flawless and airbrushed base! I really like this sponge because ultimately it saves me $$ which saves me foundation because it doesnt absorb up my product. You can use this wet or dry.

I have been using these beauty sponges most days for over a week. The large sponge is fairly soft, but I use it damp, which makes it even softer and slightly bigger. I find that it makes my foundation application quicker and it doesn't make it appear 'cakey'. I use the smaller pale green sponge less often as it is a lot denser, and I don't tend to use heavy-coverage products often. However, if I have a product that doesn't blend very well, the smaller sponge is great at blending it out. What separated these two sponges from the ones I usually use are the unique shape. Although I have never personally tried the Beauty Blender, these sponges honestly make me feel like I am not missing out on anything! Prior to these, I had been using the white Ulta brand sponge duo. While that set also performed beautifully, the color made it difficult to keep clean. The EcoTools perfecting blender duo is everything you need to create a flawless foundation for the rest of your makeup. The softness of the larger sponge makes blending so effortless and even fun. The smaller one is great for more precise areas as well as for getting a fuller coverage look because of its size and density. Both have two flat edges that come up into a taper. This is an attractively packaged set of two make-up sponges designed to help you achieve a flawless look. Although I am by no means an expert, the contrasting sizes and density of the sponges did make it easier to apply concealer and foundation, particularly when moistened to produce more of a sheer finish. The angles of the sponges enable you to apply with precision or to sweep across larger areas using the wider parts. I received these sponges from Influenster free of charge for testing purposes! Being a makeup junky I am quick to try new products and toss them away if I don't like them after the first few tries. These will be around for a long time! Initially they felt very firm and that worried be, but it turned out to be the perfect combo of firm and bouncy to get a beautiful blend on my contour and concealer without taking away too much of my product! The small one is perfect for those small areas you want to contour, like around your nose, and the large one is perfect for blending out concealer and your cheeks! I will repurchase these when the time comes and am glad to have found this new must have item for makeup application!

Love this, the larger sponge gets the job done so fast because of the large surface area. The smaller sponge provides more coverage if needed. Also the shape is amazing, one of the best cheaper sponges on the market!I'm seeing that a lot of people say that this sponge tears easily, and I will say I did experience that when I used the doctor bronners liquid soap to wash this, and it tore. However, when I wash the sponges with baby shampoo it doesn't do that and rather softens the sponge really nicely. Also it can be easier to tear the larger sponge since when it is dampened it expands quite a bit, and so when I squeeze out the water, my nails sometimes does dig into it,

When I began doing makeup in high school, I was determined to stray away from spending $$$ on a beauty sponge. I had heard good things about these sponges and gave it a shot. I really enjoy this bigger, darker green sponge. It's firmer than the original Beauty Blender, but I find that because of this, the sponge soaks up less product and gives a fuller coverage. Sometimes, it doesn't blend as seamlessly as an original Beauty Blender would. Honestly, the smaller sponge is even more dense and rough than the bigger one and it doesn't expand much when soaked with water. I bought this sponge pack at Ulta for my mom's birthday coming up and picked up one for myself as well. I was pleasantly surprised!! I have tried several beauty sponges including: the beautyblender, Morphe sponge, Real Techniques sponge and now this one. And i must say, I really like it!!! To clarify, the smaller lighter green sponge is a little more firm and doesn't get very squishy when i wet it. But the larger green one -- holy moly!! It gets so squishy and soft when i wet it and it also expands a lot -- which i love!! It doesn't soak up a bunch of product and it's a great price. I will definitely repurchase the larger green one again!!

These sponges are really nice, but not for foundation and concealer. These sponges are a little too dense and not as bouncy as I like for my foundation and concealer. I also don't feel like they hold enough water to blend out my liquid/cream products flawlessly. However, I LOVE using these for baking or setting my face with powder! The flat edges work wonders for that purpose! I also love using them for applying my cream contour, the tips of the blenders are the perfect size for that! I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.I am a die-hard Beauty Blender fan, so I'm always skeptical of drugstore sponges claiming to match up to "the leading prestige blender". However, I was pleasantly surprised with these sponges! They have a stiffness that the Beauty Blender doesn't have, but I feel as if I'm saving more foundation/concealer since it's not being absorbed as much into the sponge. I always use these wet, and they blend my products out perfectly. I've had no issues with streaking and patchiness. My foundation looks smooth and flawless and the smaller sponge is perfect for blending my concealer near my nose and eyes. I highly recommend these sponges!

Previous to receiving these sponges I had never actually used a sponge applicator on my face because I personally prefer brushes. However, I am hooked! I've always been skeptical because I have read that sponges tend to soak up a ton of the product, but I don't find that to be the case with these at all. I especially love the smaller one for under my eyes. I find that it works best when it is wet because it seems to make your concealer blend flawlessly into your face. Super impressed with these sponges, not sure why anyone would pay such a steep cost for a Beauty Blender when these work so amazingly well! This is an interesting looking and eye catching set of 2 sponges, one in a larger size and the other a smaller size,both covering different uses.Both sponges have a contoured edge for large areas and a flat edge for more detailed work (also using the corners). The small sponge is really useful for detailed application, being slightly firmer with smaller corners, while the large sponge is softer and spreads on larger areas easily.They are really good at applying concealer and foundation, far better than anything my wife has used before, and can be used dry or wet for different effects. Highly recommended and you'll find it hard to go back to other products

I am so so impressed with this sponge duo! It's perfectly bouncy and soft! ( I have not used them wet yet because I am mainly using them to bake at the moment). It is perfect to bake other the eyes and for the bridge of the nose because of the sharp flat edge. I think it will be perfect for contouring and for creating that sharp line under the cheekbone contour. I actually think it is very comparable to the Beauty Blender if not even better because I actually like that it has a flat edge to it. I would totally recommend! I have had this sponge for about a month and let me tell you that I reach for these over my beautyblender now! The larger one is great for blending liquid and cream foundation while the smaller one is PERFECT for under eye concealer and baking! They both expand and soften up after being submerged in water. I also have noticed that they do not absorb a ton of product, which is important when using more expensive products. I will definitely repurchase these sponges, considering they are amazing quality and very affordable!*I received these complimentary from EcoTools and Influenster in exchange for a review but all opinions are my own
