We never had one since we moved to an old bult house. I did a lot, I mean days and days of research which Dehumidifier is best suits our 3 bed detached house. Our double glazed windows used to be sweaty most of the times, mould growth started in in 3 separate rooms, so at that time we made a decision to try Ebac Dehumidifier. In first couple days we noticed a difference and in a weeks time significant difference. No more sweaty windows, no more mould and house is much much warmer. Well done Ebac

I have previously had an Ebac Dehumidifier, of a similar model and that lasted me 10 yrs. So I have complete faith in both the Brand and the model. When I said that it runs quietly I am going on my opinion and not comparing it to other models or brands. Suffice to say I am completely happy with the operation. It certainly lives up to my expectations and more, ideal for not only solving condensation problems which it does with great effect, but also for drying washing. would I recommend this. yes

Bought the dehumidifier on a friends recommendation as my conservatory was dripping with condensation now the weather has cooled. This unit is compact, light and easily lifted to wherever you want it and within hours of turning it on, the windows had all cleared. The smart feature is great as now it’s reached an even state it just turns itself on and off as required so I don’t need to think about it. The rest of the bungalow feels drier too, so it must have been impacting the rest of the house.

Took dampness out quickly and has definitely reduced faint mould smell in house after first two weeks. I have ordered extra filters from the Ebac company website.Not noisy, but you're aware of it when on - sounds like a fridge Sturdy but relatively light and easy to move aboutNot the cheapest or best looking dehumidifier available but seems to work well - I bought it because if got excellent reviewsWater container is black plastic so it will be difficult to see when it needs cleaning

Purchased as had issues with damp. Already had an Argos own branded one from a few yrs ago but this one is better. The smart settings are great, just set it and leave. Damp was sorted in a couple of days. Now the unit only comes on now when needed, usually after someone has used the shower.It's easy to empty and quite quiet compared to my other one. Note that the website says Argos not Argo so don't be mistaken thinking it's an own branded product. It's a good quality, British made product

When you buy this there are somethings you should know:1) Instructions are in the pull down drawer where the capter tank is kept. This is at the lower level at the front of the dehumidifier. The air filter is at the back.2) Leave the dehumidifier upright (not plugged in) for two hours. it will work when plugged in after two hours.Read the instructions carefully and look at some youtube reviews which help to use it. Once it is all understood, it is simply does the work.

I have found my dehumidifier working really well. Condensation form all around windows and doors gone in literally few days. My laundry dries in 6 hours. My house feels warmer and somehow more clean. My husband enjoys the benefits as well- his knees don't hurt as much (he suffers from arthritis). However, I haven't had my electricity bill yet so I don't know how much it costs to run (I have it for 3-5 h a day). Fingers crossed it's cheap to run, then it would tick all the boxes !!E.P.

I used to own an old style Ebac in the 1990's and that was great, and this seems just as good. This has more settings that the old one and we're currently using the highest setting as we had some replastering done a little while back and also a leak by the back door was fixed. Each morning it's pretty full and it speeds up drying laundry on the airer. It's louder on the high setting but not loud enough to annoy us. The kitchen also feels warmer since it's been running in there.

I'm really pleased with my purchase. The dehumidifier has some great features, such as smart mode whereby you just leave it switched on and it starts/stops by itself according to how much humidity is present in the air. You can set it to max to help with drying clothes indoors; a load of washing can be left over the airer overnight and be dry the next morning. It runs quietly, sounding similar to the gentle hum of a fridge, so the noise isn't disturbing - even overnight.

We have damp problems at home, and in the mornings the windows are full of condensation. We have very small children and was worried about the health implications this would have been causing them. I leave the dehumidifier on and it collects a lot of water. I also leave it in our bedroom over night as it is surprisingly very quiet and in the morning the window is dry. It doesn’t come with wheels, and additional filters can be purchased via the manufacturers website.

We purchased this Ebac 2650 dehumidifier for our daughter as an early Christmas present, because she was having a damp problem in her house. We chose this model as we had purchased two Ebac 2650 dehumidifiers several years previously. One was for our own house and one was purchased for another relative. We had been pleased with the reliability and quietness previously. Seems well made and effective and it has a large tank that is easy to remove and empty.

This little guy has changed our lives. We moved into a damp, small space, and with the help of this R2D2 fella, we can sleep peacefully in our bedroom knowing that we won't wake up to wet windows, damp smelling clothes and sheets, and that the wood in the room can last as long as possible. Not to mention that it's ongoing background tune is a comfort too! It is remarkably easy to empty and control, and takes up next to no room with its shape.

I bought this product to help with a condensation problem. I’m so impressed with it! It has reduced the amount of condensation to almost nothing! It’s not too loud just sounds like a desktop fan. I had researched what it was I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. This was not the cheapest model but, it has paid for itself already by getting rid of my condensation! I cannot believe how much water it collects! I would definitely recommend it!

I am very pleased with this dehumidifier. I use it in a big room with large sash windows either end. The walls are granite and although I have efficient central heating this particular room often feels a bit damp as it gets very little sun. This product makes a huge difference. The room feels warmer, less humid and my allergy to moulds etc. has disappeared.It has a quiet motor with several different settings and a large water container.

Ebac are dehumidifiers. Probably the best in the business for this type of unit. This is the second unit I've bought from Ebac over a 15 year period and they would always be my first choice. Robust construction, efficient, simple to use and easy to empty. You get what you pay for. Not cheap, but they do what they promise. The amount of water they remove, even in a dry environment, will astound you. Every home should have one.
