When I was a kid I used to have almost the entire Airfix catalog. I loved the model planes and ships, but honestly I wasn't that interested in the process of construction. I wasn't bad at putting then together, and sometimes I made a good job of painting them. But if these Easy Models had been around I would have bought these instead. I still make model ships. It's just a shame they're probably beyond the scope of affordability to release in a series like this.

With the Zero being my favourite Japanese aircraft of WW2 I was thrilled to recieve my very own model. It came painted and ready to be displayed (currently on my desktop at work). My colleagues love it as much as I do and it is an excellent purchase especially when compared to other models which require assembly and painting.
