I've suffered with an itchy flaky scalp for over 30 years !! Until recently the only 'remedy' was to use Polytar. Unfortunately, due to its chemical makeup the EU directed that it should no longer be available in the UK & Europe. So, after a lot of trial and error I came across Ducray Keludas and can confirm that it's better than Polytar (+ no residual smell of tar).Oh, and if you couple it to a post application of Ducray's elution shampoo (adds oils) you'll remove the majority of split ends.

I discovered this shampoo when I lived in Italy (although it's made in France) and it's a way better alternative to Coal Tar shampoos. I've been using it for more than 10 years now and I never have scalp flare ups. Firstly it's odourless and secondly, it's gentle on the hair. It's more like a regular shampoo in consistency but a little goes a long way. It also doesn't strip hair colour which is a huge bonus.

I have tried every shampoo there is against itchy and flaky scalp, and this one is the only one that works for me - everyone is different of course, so you will need to try for yourself. However, for me the itching eased up on first use, and my scalp is not as flaky either. I use this in combination with the zinc lotion from Ducray, and find it a huge help.

The shampoo is perfect for people who have head skin problems either for itchy head or for loss of hair. This item is perfect fo SEBORRHEIC DERMATITIS as it stops the loss of hair and also helps the skin to cure. In addition, it strengthens and shines the hair from the very first times you use it. Very satisfied with this item.

This does work but the bottle is very small and for the amount of useage the cost does not make it cost effective. I have used a cheaper dandruff shampoo now that this has taken away my extremely dry scalp and so far i am still dandruff free. But wont be repurchasing as it is too expensive for my budget which is a shame.

This shampoo better than anything else for flaky scalp. Different doctors prescribed for me different shampoo for long time but only this one works and very effective. For the best results I use warm burdock oil in 1-2 hours before wash my hair. Amazing results – my scalp now clear.

Had really bad dandruff from last few months and nothing was working shampoos, home remedies and I tried everything under the roof. My doctor recommended me to use to this and in just two wash dandruff was less than 60% and no itchiness. Def recommend this a miracle for me

I have used 10 or more different products that swear they will cure my dandruff but none of them worked.Ducray Kelual DS Shampoo worked so well that after my first wash with the shampoo all the dandruff was gone .I was amazed ! Five stars from me,worth every penny !

My boyfriend has used this shampoo. Now we bought on amazon because it is more cheap that on ireland pharmacies. This product was the only one that works. Very efficient with seborrheic episodes.

I periodically suffer from itchy and flaky scalp for many years and have tried numerous products. This shampoo worked straight away, the flakes are gone and the itching has subsided.

My husband suffers with scalp dermatitis, like dandruff but worse. After a couple uses of this it has really calmed his scalp down and he has less flakes, definitely recommend.
