These just got me out of a pickle, had to buy them locally and paid over the odds, but after a snapped caliper bolt on a sunday (and living in a remote place), I can't speak highly enough of these.The calipers and the general condition of underneath of my car can be described as 'less than cared for' previously, and as such, a 13mm head bolt that attaches the caliper to the carrier snapped completely flush after a bit of a fight.After carefully filing what was left of the bolt flat, centre-punching and drilling a small hole (slowly with plenty of oil), I mounted the appropriate sized extractor in a tap wrench, started it off in the hole and kept it as straight + vertical as possible, and voila!,

I had a screw stripped to hell and back, and this set of extractors saved everything!!!I drilled a hole through the screw, stuck one of these exctactors in and then turned it left, and of course, it gripped the screw like asalt water crocodile and turned the screw out damn well, and I must add th escrew was GLUED in there!!!in the end this set saved the project, i highly reccomend!!!

We ordered this product and it came in the time span it said it would and was well wrapped up and delivered in a good condition, as well as being good quality and good value for your money and as described on the product description. had a set of these for years and thought it time to replace them as they had been abused over time with 2 of them having snapped near the tips - excellent tool and they are an easy, simple solution to what can seem an impossible task of removing and replacing studs. bolts & screws.

Really nicely made. High quality, very pleased.You can snap anything, especially this small. If you use some thought and think about what you are trying to remove and the or load you are attempting to put through a tiny tool you should be fine.

Got me out of a sticky situation I sheared a bolt on my camshaft. Was looking at £100 for a new camshaft. Sheared bolt removed job done would recommend this tool. but use a tap spanner as the steel is that strong will chew a normal spanner .

Managed to unscrew a broken bolt from a lawn mower engine block which was very stuck. Had to apply so much force I thought the extractor would break before the bolt unstuck but in the end the extractor won and I got the bolt out.

Expert 45856 5 piece screw extractor set are very good value and have been found to work well on various contracts where cross head screws had damaged heads we found these did the jobs well They arrived promptly and well packed

Helped get a rusted screw out of a car engine bay. Nothing else would fit as it was too narrow a space to drill the head off but this along with a centre punch and tap wrench worked perfectly!

Purchased these to remove an old glow plug that snapped inside of the engine block, had to carefully drill some of the broken plug before I could attach the bit onto it. It worked for me.

Used these twice now, first time was on a rounded out allen bolt which was horribly over-tightened, slight damage caused to the extractor but the bolt is out and the kit is still usable.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. This is my second set in 3 years, as I've used me so much. Broke 1 and lost 2 so about time to replace. For a fiver you can't go wrong.

Did the job (removing a sheared bolt). I don't know how durable these are but it saved my life once and that's goo enough!
