I very rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to for this one. Our kids are 3 and 5 and we are now able to sit and play games with them so long as the games are right.This games is designed so that each turn, every player has the opportunity of moving (and most of the time they do). This prevents the kids getting frustrated waiting for their turn. Also, each game is only about 5 - 10 minutes long so younger kids with short attention spans don't get too disgruntled and bored of the game.There is lots of counting up to 5 or 6 so any child at pre-school should be able to play.I would recommend this to anyone with young children.

I bought this for to put away for my sons birthday - but got it out when it was a rainy day! It was great fun - he is nearly 3 and his sister is 5. They both enjoyed it (and so did mum and dad). Everyone gets a chance to move on every round, and it encourages counting. We also had some parts already popped out, and some were popped and missing, but these weren't mentioned on the box or the instructions so I don't know what they were supposed to be! We just had an empty part on the card pop out to show something had been there. a great little game and well worth the money for a dinosaur fan

As a family this is one of our favourite games. Our three year old grandson loves it. The rules are quite simple and it's a really fun game mixing dinosaurs and Olympics. Basically the spinner indicates which of the round tokens each player is collecting. You might end up collecting a weightlifting dinosaur. You then move one square on the race circuit for each dinosaur token you collect. I may not have described that too well but you will just have to take my word that it's a simple game to learn and suitable for children from around three - or even slightly younger.

I bought this game for when my Grandchildren who are 4 come to visit. My Grandson who is mad about anything to do with dinosaurs couldn't wait to open it. they definitely needed Help to get started but quickly picked up the idea of matching up the discs and loved the winners podium and medals at the end. I am sure we will have lots more fun with this game. Only one small negative, the spinner is very lightweight and needs holding while they spin it although as al small piece of blu tack under it to fix it to the table helps.

My four year old grandson loves this game so much we have to hide it sometimes or he would play with it all day. After playing the game twice he knew exactly how to play without being prompted and picked up the rules and was able to tell the adults how to play. That is why he loves it so much because he can play and understand what is going on in the game and it helps him to understand that you can't win at games all the time and that you can't cheat; but that's okay because it's good fun and there's lots of laughter.

My grandson (aged 3 1/2) likes this game - but at the moment because he likes the dinosaurs, gallops them round the track and awards them medals 'to take home'. A good game of chance, with a spinner and picture dinosaur cards instead of a boring old dice adding to the fun. We just haven't played it properly yet to test out the actual game! But it's attractive with plenty of opportunities to make games while he's learning the art of taking turns and actually playing a box game.

We have really enjoyed other games from orchard Toys, and Dinosaur Race is another hit. The games are well thought out and the quality of the board and pieces is good, and withstands an eager 3 1/2 year old putting them together. The game is stored in a small box, with a jigsaw style board, the size means it is easy to pack, if you are going on holiday and it is fun to have a game which allows for multiple rounds. Another brilliant game from Orchard Toys

This game has been a real favourite for my 2 and a half year old girl who loves dinosaurs. The game is simple to play and doesn't take too long so it holds her attention. She loves the medals that are given at the end of the game, so that's a bonus. As with all of the things we have from Orchard Toys the quality is very high so it can take the sometimes rough treatment a 2 year old will give it.

This is another great game from Orchard Toys. I love all their products but this has already become a big favourite in our house. My Dino-obsessed 5 yr old loves it just because it has dinos in it but it is also great for him to play with his 3 yr old sister as it is so simple. She is practising her counting with it and he is enjoying teaching her as they play together. Everybody happy!!

My sons are 4.5 and 2.5yrs old and, just like Orchards Rocket Game, they love this game too! Very easy to understand, fun to play, helps with counting, overall a great purchase and price was excellent. My boys love anything to do with dinosaurs so this was an instant hit. Definitely recommend this. It's a small box and light so could easily be taken away on a short break or holiday too.

He loved putting the jigsaw track together, he loved spinning the spinner, he loved counting the tokens, he loved moving the dinosaur's around the track and he loved collecting the medals. And we loved it once we read the instructions on how to play the game!Don't worry it is a very simple game and very easy for a three year old to grasp. We have had hours of fun already.

Great game to keep little ones entertained. Easy to set up and play especially when you have an excited child. Good bright colours and sturdy pieces. Excellent for learning colours, counting, dinosaurs and even sports. Nice touch with the podium idea, as the game can keep going to allow others to keep taking part and feel they win too.

Brought this to play with my grandson who is mad on dinosaurs and three and a half. Absolutely loves it and wants to play lots. It involves counting recognising various sports and teaches how to count and move from square to square round the board. To get a medal at the end and our your dinosaur on the podium is the best finish of all.

My neices love this game and so does they're Dad. They are aged 3yrs and 5yrs...and 45yrs the a girls are mad about dinosaurs and they found this game fun and good for counting skills and a little patience for the 3 year old as she has to learn to take turns. My brother said there are giggles all around including from him.

My 3 year old son loves this game and it's easy to understand. My only 'negative' is that I think the podium and medals are quite unnecessary and I would have preferred to see more dinosaur counters. Great for helping kids learn to count and recognition while having fun, and good quality as always from orchard toys.
