I bought it for my son as a present for his 3rd birthday. He LOVED it!!!!He just instantly knew how to use it and within minutes he could race down our living room, reverse, etc.It is great fun and some times we climb on it together, so yes it can go safely up to 100kgs of combined weight.It works only on flat surfaces like marble or laminate or even wooden floors. I do not think it will work properly on tiled floors as the gaps between the tiles prevent it form going forward.Nice and sturdy with rounded corners to avoid damaging walls and furniture ( yes a 3-year-old will smash onto these almost every day!!!)It is by far his favourite toy...he climbs onto it when he wakes up and "parks" it

This is a fantastic product. we were due to inherit one from my sister who has two older boys, but at the very last minute, her boys decided they didn't want to leave it go. We were so disappointed that we bought one for my 2 year old boy for his birthday.This is easily the most popular toy in our house, my 2 year old boy is able to work it and enjoys spinning around the place. I'm not sure if it's a recommended use, but I also sit on it with my son and the two of us go for a ride around the kitchen together which is great fun.a few guests have even asked us if it is battery powered, because they can't believe that just twisting the handles can generate such a smooth motion.

Really pleased with this car. We were advised to get it by my daughters teacher to help build her core strength. She had been enjoying the one in the class playground so we purchased ready for the holidays. I'm surprised out how sturdy it is (Daddy has tested it) and it's good fun without my daughter realising she's exercising her muscles too. We have only used it indoors on wooden floor at the moment so cant comment on how it works outdoors but she is very happy. Glad we brought this make and not a cheaper make as it means the whole family can ride :-D and it should last for many years. Problem now is my younger daughter wants one but we need stock to arrive in more colours!

When buying this novel toy, we were worried that our grandson, who is three this month, wouldn't know how to use it, We worried unduly since he'd already tried one at a play centre, and loved it. It's a sturdy product and very fairly priced, but I feel it would sell much better with a pre-assembled option available; some mechanical skills needed to get it right. The literature warns about the risk of mis-assembly, but this could be negated. Even if the price was increased for assembly, people would still buy it, but with greater confidence. I would bet that the 'Didicar' will be a big hit at Christmas time, but even bigger if pre-assembled.

I bought a Didicar for my 4 year old daughter after she tried one at her friend's party and she absolutely loves it. We use it in the park and it's very nippy going down slopes. You put your feet on the black foot placings either side of the steering wheel, wiggle the steering wheel from side to side and go and you put your feet on the ground to stop it. I tied a scooter pull to the steering wheel column so that I can pull my daughter along on flat ground but it's really fun and reasonably priced and arrived very quickly and it's easy to assemble. Highly recommend it.

Bought this didicar for our speed freak 3yr old daughter. It is a fabulous car and it can get up to a fair speed going down-hill a smooth surface. The toy is great because they can use it for years - even adults can go on it, so it's great fun for all the family. We only use it outdoors - but when she first got it she used it on laminate floors and it glides over the floors very well. Fantastic toy - would definately recommend! You have to check the didicar regularly to check the wheels and steering wheel is alligned, but that's not a problem.

Very durable toy that provides hours of fun for my 7 and 9 year old daughters. All children who come to our house jump straight on and want one themselves. You do need a certain amount of smooth flooring however, we have the whole downstairs in cork which is ideal. If your home is carpeted it will only run outdoors on a flat surface. The didicar is strong, takes my weight without straining and I am 11stone! No pedalling required just light arm movement.

An extremely sturdy and well designed ride on toy for grandchildren and adults alike! Arrived promptly and well packaged, including tool to tighten steering wheel nut. Used on sloped path and block paving patio in garden by grandchildren aged 5 and 8 and they love them. Bought yellow and teal ones based on reviews and would recommend if you are considering. These are the original Didicar (see YouTube) and worth paying extra for quality.

I bought this for my 2 yr old nephew in December 2009. It's still going strong and EVERY member of my family has used it ! Fantastic fun and it's amazing how quickly very young children can get the hang of it, my nephew is now nearly 3yrs and he spins around in it like a pro ! Definately a toy that lasts and lasts, not only physically but keeping a childs interest too ! Works best on laminate floors.

My two year old grandson loves this ride along. He can control it downhill outside and reach quite a speed.... it is robust enough to carry his 8 year old cousin or his dad and the whole family love outside play in all weathers. A great piece of kit to encourage outside, active play and great fun for all the family. A great purchase to encourage outside activity.

Excellent. Vying for pole position on Christmas morning. If my 6 year old grandaughter doesn't play with it on Christmas day her grandparents and parents will !!Excellent. Bought a blue Didcar for my grandson and this one for my 6 year old granddaughter. It comes with a bonus, ie.her parents and grandparents can play in it too !!

This has been a massive hit in our family. My 6 year old cannot wait to get home from school and drive it around the house. I had a go (age 45 years old!) and it is addictive. Great invention and so much fun. He has had it 2 months using it almost every day with no sign of wear and tear. Highly recommend this product

Very easy to put together. Looks utterly beautiful. Nephew adored it. He stocky 3 year old boy and it put up well with his use. Would be fantastic for indoor or outdoor use, however the wheels aren't the most sturdy looking (although they've held up well so far!). I would definitely buy this product again.

This product is fantastic!!! My 5 year old son has cerebral palsy, and has never been able to use a ride-on due to his trunk being unstable and he has no use of one hand, but this is incredible!! He can steer with one hand and sit comfortably. I can’t thankyou enough

It took my husband days to put together, and we had to contact the seller as we weren't having much luck. They were very nice and their instructions really helped, but I am not sure why it wasn't easier to put together. My son loves it now so worth the effort.
