I took a chance on this game.Usually buying games involves a long drawn out process of reading reviews and, then when I finally get to a shop, yo-yoing between the shelf and the check-out in a sort of 'will he or won't he' action. However, this time the promise of both slack-jawed cowboys and real-time strategy was something I couldn't resist.I'm glad to say that my gamble paid off. Desperados while not perfect represents a fun and rewarding challenge. Each mission has enough variation to keep it interesting and the graphics although not too advanced on technical standpoint do involve some great art direction. The cut scenes are some of the best I've seen and long enough that you can appreciate them fully.

This game is a strategic piece of excellence. Enjoy 25 levels in the old west in new mexico with 6 playable characters: John, Sam, Doc, Kate, Sanchez and Mia. This game will entertain with its humour, gameplay and wide range of music and sounds. This is no doubt, one of the best budget buys you will ever play
