This was bought to replace an old 512mb CF card for our camera. It arrived in good time, the packaging is the usual plastic monster, which would have been better replaced with a smaller, simpler packaging but once the scissors made their way through the poly-fortress, the card easily accepted a Micro SD card, and fit into the camera snugly. It also fits into our card reader, with a positive connection and works far more quickly than the old CF card. The ability to use the card either in a CF slot or by using the Micro SD in a separate reader away from home is a big advantage.Other than the niggle about excessive plastic packaging, it's exactly what we wanted.

I am using this on my old Nikon d700...one of the best Nikon's ever made.....no issues with time delay...or read and write speeds....My Only warning to potential buyers on the Nikon d700 you cannot use a micro sd card...or sd card more than 32gb....So please be aware any card above this limit will not work .....i bought mine from Amazon Warehouse for less than £15..used.....better than paying £45+.....my advise if you need it buy...a great well made product....please avoid the cheap Generic Chinese.made product....you will regret...

Got for my canon 30d now with a 8 gb micro sd cardYou don't have to take cf reader out only the micro sd card AwsumeAs you know taking cf card in and out over and over again can damage the reader pins in the cf slot well with this does away with this I know this as I have just had mine repaired so now cf reader stays in the cameraI know you can purchase a cf to sd card converter but when inserted to cf converter reader thing sd card goes in the side so every time you want transfer data etc you have to eject the card reader

I have Canon 40D and the pins on my camera broke due to constant extracting and inserting of the CF card. After an expensive repair, I needed an adapter not to remove it anymore and this one did a great job! It is easy to remove and insert the MicroSD card. It works as fast as the original one, just make sure you get a class 10 microSD card and it is not bigger than the camera supported maximum size (for Canon 40D, this is 16GB). I bought a 16GB Kingston MicroSD and it works great!

I bought this item to increase the capacity of my digital camera and being a 8 years old camera i was a little bit concerned about it not really working. Well i can say it does work like the original CF card i bought 8 years ago.

This dubious about this adapter, but on receiving it found that it worked perfectly with a 32GB SanDisk Ultra Micro SD card in both my Canon 5D Mk2 and 7D. A good 5 stars.

Used with my Nikon D700 (camera firmware versions A=1.04; B=1.03) and it worked a treat. I now feel that I'm not at risk of struggling to get CF cards.
