I don't have a dishwasher and decided to invest in a decent non-rust draining rack that did the job more effectively and could cope with numerous plates, dishes, mugs, pots and pans. I am very pleased with my purchase and am happy to add to the many positive reviews of this Delphinware draining rack. I decided to order the large size after checking the measurements to make sure it would fit on my sink drainer. It is so much better than any previous dish drainer I have had and much better than anything I saw on the high street or in the better quality kitchenware suppliers. It sits well up off the surface of the sink drainer so plates drain properly in the rack and don't end up standing in the water that has run off them.Large round plates need to be stacked away from you so they don't topple but this is just a tip really, not a problem. The draining rack has high sides so tall glasses don't end up toppling over the sides as has happened to me with other draining racks. There is plenty of room for all the wishing up, even if you have to pile it high as I sometimes do. The plastic cutlery drainer can be placed wherever you want inside or outside the draining rack itself, or removed completely, providing greater flexibility and more space for draining crockery, pots a pans. This draining rack seemed like an expensive purchase but if it stays looking good (as per the 5 year guarantee) I will be more than happy that it was worth every penny.

I like to take my time with a product before writing a review, especially if I’m giving it five stars. And I think 21 months is definitely sufficient time to appreciate the build quality of this sink drainer.I use the reviews a lot in narrowing down products I’m going to buy, so it’s important for me to reward the producers of items that really impress me.As I’ve said, I bought this over 21 months ago, and it has been used regularly and heavily. It has stood up easily to the mountains of crockery and cookware I have piled on it.It has fit flat and perfectly stable on both sinks in the two houses I’ve used it in so far. With a regular wipe and periodic deep clean, it had come up looking like brand new each time, and I think it will last me for many years to come. Which considering the price makes it an absolute bargain. If I were to say that there was anything to detract from it, the plastic cutlery drainer isn’t perfect. It could do with being able to clip it onto the side rail or the base, as it’s a little too shallow for some of the larger dinner knives, and can topple over if too many are put into it. But that’s nit picking, and again, for the price, should in no way detract from a quality piece of stainless steel ware.

Was dubious about spending so much on a draining rack but having been through several flimsy versions that rusted soon after purchase I decided to invest in this solid stainless steel one. Very glad I did too! Generous proportions with deep sides (perfect if you like to overload it with as many plates, pots and pans like I do) and the lovely thick wires are beautifully welded together ensuring this rack is rigid and sturdy. Also the rubber capped feet elevate the rack to provide better air circulation so the dishes dry faster. 3 months on since purchasing the rack still looks great and best of all no rust in sight. Definitinely money well spent.Worth noting this is a British made product too so good to support domestic production too.On a side note, if you stack the dishes counterintuitively on the rack then this will solve the problem of them falling over/domino effect that other purchasers have noted.

Very well made, solid drainer. I understand some complaints about the cutlery holder but I don't mind it. Throw large knives in by themselves and yes it will fall over if not careful but if there are some knives and forks in their too it stays solid. Nice touch with the rubber feet so it is not noisy when moving on the sink. My biggest gripe with it is the shape of the plate/bowl holders. It holds plates well but bowls have not been thought about. We have good sized and wide bowls and they do not sit properly down into the slots and as you stack a couple of bowls in a line they just sit on top of the bars and just get higher and higher as they lean against each other.Overall yes it is a very good drainer and i would highly recommend but it has fallen short of being perfect with the poor thought out slots

Chose the 5 star because this was exactly what I wanted to buy for my son's (aged 32) Christmas present. He has one of those dreadful wooden work tops that get all wet and go black when you stack your washing up on it. I paired it with a Bettaware drainer that sits underneath and drains direct into the sink. The wood stays dry underneath it. It's stainless steel so won't rust and is feels reassuringly sturdy. Worth the price! Quote from son "I skipped home knowing that my washing up problem was sorted". After doing the internet research with all the measurements to match the rack/drainre and available space at side of sink, it turned out it was almost exactly the same as the one we have.(Except we have a stainless steel sink with a drainer). Architects/ designers have a lot to answer for.

After being annoyed by several rusty drainers, I decided to spend fortune (for a drainer) on this expensive but highly regarded drainer.I have used this for about two months now, but there is no sign of rust at all. Any previous drainers I used before would have got many spots of rust by now. Based on this clear difference, I am 99% sure this drainer will not rust for many years if not forever.Another good point, which I did not expect, is that the depth is slightly deeper than any ordinary drainers in similar size. The small difference in depth makes considerable difference in ease of piling up dishes.

After an initial concern over the damaged plastic cutlery container , possibly during transit(replaced speedily and without cost by the seller - also checkfor missing rubber feet too as these tend to puncture the cardboard box) the complete item looks great and is perfect for my needs. No more dishes and glasses sliding around on the draining board. It's expensive compared to other racks but is very robust and sturdy, no worry about plates toppling over and the high edge basket means everything stays in place. Actually brought a smile to my face. I need to get out more!

This is the king of all washing up racks! Firstly it's grade 304 stainless steel (important) as it won't rust. Secondly it's sturdy and very robust and thirdly it is an excellent size to fit all the dishes in, after a large sink wash up.I would highly reccomend this product!Do yourself a favour today, forget the plastic racks, forget the flimsy wire racks which start rusting after a week. Spend the money, get this rack, be happy forever! It's that good!! You will not regret it.

Let's be honest, it's a lot of money for drainer, but it's a decent product. Nicely made, no sharp bits etc. It is definitely stainless steel, maybe 304 grade (ever so slightly magnetic, but barely perceptible). Rubber feet are a good touch, no clattering (or scratching) on the sink if you catch it with a pan or something. Maybe British manufacturers are finally realizing quality does pay off. 4 stars only due to short time since purchase and review

It is hard to know what to say about such an mundane item. Previously I had a wooden dish drainer but it went mouldy, always felt a bit precarious and didn't hold that much crockery. This is quite a large rack and has a big footprint but it holds a good number of plates etc and has a nice weight and feeling of quality. It is very stable and plates etc are firmly held in place. It looks like it will last years and is perfect next to a Belfast sink.

I used to own the plastic-coated version and it served well for years until the plastic began to wear off in places. It's so nice to have stainless steel that doesn't rust like the chrome-plated ones do.However, there is something about the angle of the "uppity bits" on this drainer that makes them less effective at holding up plates etc securely - I feel that they should tip back just a little more.Am pleased with the product tho.

I bought this for my mom as her old one was getting rusty. It's perfect. It's deep enough to put a lot of things inside and it holds a lot of plates for when she entertains - and she does that a lot. It's high enough to keep the dishes away from he water. It's a little of the large size, so if you have a small sink, then maybe you should reconsider.I loved it, and she loved it. I would recommend it.

Exceptional quality. Its worth buying a stainless steel rack because l can say that I have probably spent 3 times this amount replacing the rusted chrome ones I owned previously, so it was a false economy getting cheap chrome ones. I bought two of these and only bought the second one after I waited a for months to make sure the first one didn't rust. It hasn't. Would highly recommend.

Our previous drainer was also the same make but in black and due to living in London the lime scale is off the ‘scale’ and quickly went from black to a wirey chess board....anyway had this one in stainless steel only a day but love the size and quality of build. Can fit so much on it...and as I wash up more than my misses it was one of the rare products in the house I had a say in ☺️

Very sturdy and heavy enough that it won't slide around or topple over, great quality, looks nice, easy to keep clean and I'm sure it will last well. The stainless steel version is expensive, but substantially better than the cheap rubbish offered at most hardware stores. It's big though so measure carefully before purchasing. The medium size may be a better fit for most sinks.
