Played this at my local board games club and it was simply awful. The only strategy or tactics in the game involve moving one or two spaces or deciding to pick up a card.You get two actions per turn so if you decide to move two spaces that’s your entire go until next time. If there’s 5 of you playing you will have to wait another 20-30 mins before you get the chance to do anything again WOW! EXCITING!The zombie moves are determined on a dice roll so they come to you. After everyone has had a turn this process can take a long time figuring out what zombies go where and what level they are depending on dice roll and is not fun when you’re just sitting waiting for another go.If a zombie ends up

The game works okay, although I never really feel like I'm in a struggle with the zombies in the same way as, say, Dead of Winter. The feeling of attack is similar to Risk inasmuch as you feel like you're just randomly throwing dice rather than engaging in combat. The weapons that can be found in the cabin contribute towards the feeling of true combat, but my feeling is that they are far too powerful and should have either very limited use or less power.The product components could be much better. Beginning with the box. The box lid fits too tightly onto the box, making it rather difficult to open. Then there are the standees and the walls. They use a cardboard slot stand, which often fall out when moved.
