Perfect for all frying needs. Ideal weight to heat ratio but just be careful that you have ample oil for frying otherwise food will stick. As for washing and after care all you need to do to avoid any rusting is wash in warm water and washing-up liquid, rinse and immediately dry with kitchen roll, then spread approximately a half teaspoon of sunflower oil around the pan with a fresh piece of kitchen roll and store away. Voila! no rust.

Differing from the main heavier steel De Buyer pan range, I own two of the small Coupe Lyonnaise Blue Steel pans that are absolutely perfect for preparing and finishing dressings and sauces and/or for direct application onto courses served at table. Overall an excellent/classic jobbing pan

I absolutely love this pan .. bought for cooking on an open fire and its perfect .-.. easy to season and the food doesn't stick ... exceptionally good quality at a fantastic price ...

Always had a problem with heats hen basting or browning. You see the professional browning off before finishing in the oven. Well this fry pan raises your game. Great buy
