I purchased this product on Amazon after trying it out during my salon visit. I wanted it because of the lovely scent that lingers in my hair after blow drying it straight. I love the scent. It’s an earthy, sexy, noticeable fragrance. It seems to keep my hair conditioned. The main reason why I got it was because I like the smell. Seems to work more so as a hear protectant and added oil to hair than it does to “relax” the hair. I would say buying for the way it makes your hair smell is completely worth it. If you don’t like stronger hair scents then this isn’t for you. However, if you don’t mind a whiff of sexy hair scent then use it.

I use this with the oil from Davines, as reccomended by my stylist. I use it on my wet hair before blow drying. The combination of these two seems to work magic. I don't have as much luck using it solo. My hair is pretty thick and frizzy/wavy. I use a flat iron and this seems to work. Not the miracle product, but I'm not sure there is one. I'll keep using this one until I stumble on something better. It does work better than anything I've tried before from the drug store or salon. A little goes a LONG way, so don't be freaked out by the price. I've had my tube for close to the year, using 3-4 times a week.

I have used Davines Relaxing Fluid for a long time now. We recently moved to an area that I am no longer able to find a salon to purchase it from so turned to trusty Amazon to solve that problem. I have naturally straight hair, but it can be a bit unruly with lots of fly aways. This relaxing fluid truly helps tame my hair and allow me to simply blow dry my hair and go. LOVE that! Less heat treating because I don't usually have to use a flat iron now, on humid days maybe a little, but most days I can get by with only hair dryer thanks to this great relaxing fluid!

Received a sample of this in a Birchbox. Didn't try it for several months, then we traveled to St. Lucia and no matter how much I tried my hair was "foofie" because of humidity. Found that I had packed this product & used it. AMAZING! Not only was my hair straight & smooth, it STAYED that way for a couple of days! Which is why I purchased 2 full-sized tubes - one for myself & one to share. Even sent a picture of it to my hairdresser recommending she try it so she could recommend it to her clients. I love this stuff!

I've used this for years and love its light balsam fragrance and the way it holds my hair without any buildup or stickiness. I totally hate sprays. Plus this one doesn't have any of the bad things in it that we are learning to steer clear of. A little bit goes a long way. Just squeeze out a bit and rub it over your hands and your hands through your hair. I use it when my hair is still wet from washing.

I have fine hair and am living in a very humid environment. I've been using this product after showering at night and letting my hair air dry. This product helps a lot to maintain a style throughout the day keeping it straight and fighting the frizz. It isn't perfect - there are days when the humidity is out of control but even then my hair is better with this product than without.

This ACTUALLY helps straighten my thick, coarse, wavy hair. Pretty amazing product. I purchased it warily, as with most promises from every hair product. I can honestly claim......it works! I would definitely purchase again. You have to use so little though, like less than a pea sized amount, for short hair, that it will be awhile before I need to repurchase.

I have really thick, frizzy African american hair and wear it short. This is the only product that actually works the way it's advertised. I really love this product as it really helps to bring some order to my style - it doesn't flake, leaves no residue and is not sticky like SO MANY others. Definitely worth a try!

Love this product. My hair is dry and over processed, and this gives my hair shine and makes straightening so much simpler. It also helps keep my wavy frizzy hair straight for a couple days.

This is great for straight or loose wavy hairstyles. It allows hold without stiffness.Ooo! and the environmental consciousness of Davines is absolutely noteworthy too. BIG Props, Davines!

My hair stylist used this at the salon, and I fell in love with it. It leaves my hair feelings smooth and tames my frizz. I highly recommend this product. (It also beats the salon price)

I have very fine, damaged hair, and this fluid works to calm the fly-aways and smooth, without weighing down. I put it in post-shower, and let my hair air dry. I would highly recommend.

I love Davines products. I use this as a smoothing cream to smooth out the fly away hairs when I put my hair up. It leaves my hair looking sleek and not greasy.
