I wish there was instructions but other than that, it's a very nice reel. It took a while to get the handle onto the left side. It went on easily on the right hand side....come to find out that the left hand side has left hand threads...

The reel is light, and well made. There is odd sound once the spool reach bottom part, however it doesn't affect the performance.

This reel is very smooth. It's light weight is nice. In my opinion, this reel is ideal for crappie, panfish, and small bass.
