This has been absolutely amazing. I am never one to clean my make up brushes but since I bought this German cleaning soap, I have been using it regularly. This is how I personally use it:1. I take my brush and give it a rinse under the tap first just to get any loose make up off. It is helpful here to scrub the bristles gentle to get off any excess powder or cream.2. With the brush damp, I swirl it around for a few seconds in the soap and then massage the brush until the soap is properly lathered up, before rinsing it again.3. If it's a foundation brush or is used heavily, I will usually give it another go with the soap.4. Once the brushes are rinsed out,it is best to hang them upside down in order for the bristles not to fall out of their natural shape. I have a travel washing line which I use to peg the brushes onto but I have known other people to clip theirs from a shelf to hang up. They are usually dry within a few hours.I believe that the soap will last quite a long time as it does not seem to take up much for each brush that I clean. It also smells lovely and makes the brushes feel super soft and conditioned, which is a problem that I have heard other friends having when they have washed their brushes. Overall, 5/5!

This is a really effective cleaning soap for make up brushes. The lemon scent isn't over bearing and if you rinse your brushes enough after cleaning you can wash off the scent if you prefer. I have found with other cleaning solutions that foundation clogs on the brush when it's being cleaned; and that actually getting the brushes clean takes a number of applications. This soap hasn't had that effect and I find that it only takes a couple of rinses after applying the soap to get the brushes really nice and clean.I know a number of reviews mentioned the tin going rusty. I haven't had that problem yet, and whilst I do use the soap in the tin I always make sure to dry both the tin and soap afterwards.Overall it is a really effective, great soap and one I would recommend.

Admittedly, I have never cleaned my brushes, which is actually gross considering I’ve had them about 3 years, but kept seeing this in my Instagram feed so thought I’d give it a go. Firstly, it is gently lemon scented so nice and fresh, although the smell doesn’t stay on the brushes. Secondly, I thought my brushes were just going to disintegrate considering they weren’t particularly expensive in the first place, BUT they have washed up so nicely! And it was pretty satisfying watching all the stuff come out! 100% recommend this product!

I bought this on the recommendation of Julia Graf (YouTube beauty guru), and she was definitely right about this one. My brushes are super clean in practically no time, and softer than ever before! Most brush soaps leave them feeling a bit stiff, but this soap conditions them as well. All you do is wet the brush and swirl it around on the soap to pick up some product, lather by swirling in the palm of your hand, and then rinse! And it smells so wonderfully lemon fresh! Love this stuff! Will buy again!

I needed new cleansing soap and couldn’t afford a leading brand one. So I took a chance on this. It has a slight lemon fragrance and it cleans the brushes and blending sponge perfectly. It is a solid soap that can be removed from the tin (so it won’t go rusty) and I leave it to dry before putting it back in the tin. It cleaned my foundation brush very quickly and thoroughly and my sponge looks amazing. I Highly recommend this. I will be back to purchase the bigger one next time.

The soap smells really nice and the brushes are nice and soft afterwards. It really gets rid of all traces of make up and my brushes look brand new.The only thing I would recommend is to take the soap out of the container and holding it in your hand while using it. I saw some reviews complaining about the tin getting a bit rusty with time so I just let the soap dry before I put it back, keeping the tin rust free. So far this has worked well.

Bought this for my acrylic painting brushes, and it works as advised. Even though it says for cosmetic brushes, its apparently the same soap.I leave it in the tin, and rub my wet brush bristles on the soap after each time i use them. When i come back to the brushes the next day, the bristles are still moist, soft and more importantly have kept their point with no stray hairs.

This is much better than liquid brush cleaner! Gets in all the nooks and Cranny's and cuts brush cleaning time down by half. I have 40 brushes so to clean them all to high standard quickly is really important. I've cleaned 20 brushes today. Its lost a star because it is nearly all gone, but they are really glossy and smell great. I may need to get a large next time.

I bought the smallest one to test it out before buying a bigger one. And omg it absolutely amazing. I have a lot of brushes over 200 (my own personal brushes and then ones I use on clients) I cleaned them all and didn't even make a dent. I use alot of neon coloured eyeshadow and usually the pigments stain my brushes but it removed every spec. Will be buying again!

I can’t believe this stuff. Literally works a treat. I can’t smell the vanilla smell of it to be honest but I didn’t buy it for that I bought it to clean my brushes and it does it perfectly. It does wear down quite quickly but I have washed my full brush set (30+ brushes) about 3 times now. I had tried tons of cleaners and never really worked properly until this

Really good brush cleaner for cosmetic brushes. The only negative feedback is that it really didn't clean oval brushes well(was great with everything else though especially with eye and brow brushes). Also I used like almost half of it just cleaning like 4 face brushes and 10 eye brushes once so this wouldn't last you long if you're addicted to makeup.

Love it. Best cleaner I've found. It especially cleans sponges like a dream. For all make up types. Took a little bit longer for my foundation brush but that's to be expected due to the oils. The smell is really lovely, like sherbert lemon, but it doesn't linger on your brush which I actually prefer.Lasts ages and I will definitely be buying again.

So pleasantly surprised with this product... I don’t get too strong of a lemon smell but I have a cold!!! Lol this product suds up well and you don’t need a lot of it to clean brushes in warm water. I find it rivals other soup bars for makeup brushes that are more expensive !! Excellent product so happy will def repurchase

I usually use antibacterial hand wash and a bit of olive oil butThis bar is great, it quickly removes the dirt from your makeup in a few swipes. I did my entire brush collection (50 brushes) in under an hour - thats a miracle! Very impressed and will definitely be purchasing again.

Not very much scent at all, looks like any bar of soap, simple and easy to use, simply wet your brush or sponge, wipe over the soap, work into a lather and rinse off.... does exactly what it states, wouldn't say there is anything special about it, however I do really like it.
