I got sent a pair of these Crocs Citilane clogs in size 8 Black/Graphite as free to review via Amazon Vine. Ironically I had just bought a pair of Classic Crocs in Khaki (fawn) from the Croc Shop in our local designer centre (for just £16.99). I had bought the Classic Khaki pair in size 9 as the size 8 was far too tight a fit despite the Classic Croc shoes being described as a 'roomy fit' - and I am an exact male size 8 in normal shoes. I was worried that this Croc Citilane pair from Amazon would be too tight at only size 8, but I was pleasantly surprised that this pair was a better fit, and if I compare these size 8 Citilanes Crocs with my size 9 Classic Khakie pair, oddly the size 8 Citlanes are clearly larger (longer) than my size 9 Classic Crocs. So I would be wary of buying overlarge sizes in this Croc Citilane range as they may be a bit too big. Initially I thought these size 8 Citilanes were a great fit on me with the rear bar up out of the way (mostly used this way), and they are a very snug fit with the bar down on the rear of the ankle (snug and a bit too tight but wearable). After wearing these Citilane size 8s for a few weeks I do think a size 9 would have been preferable, as I am used wearing bigger over-sized Crocs as casual slip-wear, but the smaller size 8 is still perfectly wearable. Rather than a 'roomy fit', these Croc Citilanes are described as a 'relaxed fit'.The Citilanes were supplied via Amazon in a large plastic Croc see-through bag with a resealable top so they will be easy to try on and return if the fit isn't good. The Crocs shoes were clipped together by a tag that simply unclips to use, so you can try the Crocs on to check the fit and reclip the pair together afterwards. I imagine Amazon will pay the return postage is the Crocs aren't the right size for your feet (tick the unsuitable option). I should add my feet are quite narrow and I don't have much if any free space along the side of the clogs, but there is little difference in width between my two Croc pairs. The main advantage of my Classic Crocs over these Citilanes was that they were only £17 (as 'seconds' with minor blemishes), and I could try them on in the Croc shop (plus I was given a neat green Croc paper carry bag in the shop). We all love Crocs at home and they do seem better than cheaper versions, and you get far more choice in colours and two-tone styles. Although great for the garden and beach, the holes in the Crocks do let in a lot of water with wet grass if you are are wearing socks, but otherwise these are one of our fave shoe choices for casual wear, so 5*. Although the back strap can get damaged after a lot of use, we find the base shoes last for years as flip-flops.

Crocs have been a personally favoured casual shoe, mostly worn indoors but also within the immediate area, rarely when driving although not as an everyday 'street shoe'. Generally, if worn daily, they have lasted about 2 years until the soles and heels have worn smooth when they are potentially hazardous outdoors in wet weather, on snow and ice but still relatively safe indoors while some of the sole pattern remains.Personal shoe size is usually 42/43 but can slightly vary from one brand to another. With another reviewer saying that they normally buy UK size 9 but found these to be perfect in a size 8, it was thought worth confirming (or denying)that claim and it is possible to confirm an excellent fit despite the supposedly smaller sizing. They are very comfortable on the foot and surprisingly inexpensive; some models can exceed twice the price. The 'Crocs Citilane, Unisex Adults' Clogs, Black (Black/Graphite 02S), M8/W9' is not a model previously purchased, it is plain and unadorned by coloured strips around the sole or other such accents; the uppers resemble those of several others and the sole design is new and previously unseen. What is unusual is that the heel-straps, should you use them and not move them forward, are soft and very flexible and also slightly stretchy and also that the Crocs name is not part of the ventilating cut-outs down the sides. The heel-strap is shorter than usual and falls about 2cm forward relative to every other Crocs shoes ever worn; that may help those towards the lower range of a size but not otherwise. When first tried, the heel-strap was forward but when positioned to the rear, the shoes were slightly tight with a slight degree of discomfort. The insole has the usual dimpled surface although individual dimples are quite small, like soft pinheads. The colour is not a deep, true black but closer to an inky blue-black although not unexpected. With any new pair of Crocs, it usually takes a few days for them to feel 'right' which includes no longer being aware of the insole dimples although not in this instance; they felt Ok within a couple of minutes. The sole design is shallow - they usually are - but sufficiently varied to provide multi-directional grip on any surface. If you are careful with the sizes - they are marked with UK, US and European - they should please, but you may need to order one size lower than normal if not using the heel-strap. Otherwise they are true to declared UK size.

Over quite a while, I have looked at “Crocs” in shoe shops. I have picked them up, even tried them on. But never taken a pair home. That is until now.Recently, I took delivery of some black size 8 “Crocs”.My first impression was how light they were and how well they fitted! They have “side gussets” which help the shoe to stretch as you walk along. They also have heel straps, which keep my foot firmly located inside the shoe. First of all I wore them, without socks, around the house –as a way of “breaking them in”.They proved to be very comfortable. After a few days I decided to take the “Crocs” on a “road trip” and to walk about a mile to see how they –and my feet- coped with the differing terrain.Again, I was not wearing any socks.I thought my feet might get a bit sweaty as the inside of the shoe is “rubberised”. I am not sure of the exact material. However, the top of the shoe is covered with holes that help the shoe to “breathe”. In fact I could feel the air flow across the top of my foot with each step that I took.I am currently wearing the “Crocs” in the summer season (July), I don’t know if I could wear them in the winter, as my feet will probably get chilly. Time will tell.I have also worn them with thin socks, which feels OK, but I decided I looked more of a dork than usual, so I abandoned the socks!Bottom line? Well I can see why lots of people have been wearing “Crocs” for some time now. I am definitely a “later adopter” in this regard. They are very comfortable. If you have never had some “Crocs”, then I suggest you give them a try, I do not think that you will be disappointed!

Crocs are very plush extremely lightweight comfortable footwear made of plastic which are multi purpose. Can be used most places - on the street, indoors and for the bathroom or beach.these are slightly sturdier and more heavier than regular crocs so more suitable for outdoor use, though can be worn as other lighter weight ones are indoors. These are wise fitting and true to size. The sole unit is more durable and hasMore of a gripThey transform into sandal type with the heel strap - or the strap can be moved forwards to transform them into slip on.These are very comfortable and would suit those with door or back problems - as standing on your feet for long period is eased by these. And these areunisex though more masculine in my opinion.Downsides.Ugly - nothing can hide thisFeet tend to sweat in them and the feet start stinking - ok they have hole vents but the rubber isn't breathable and any moisture stays in - thus these start smelling too - luckily they're easily washed!Overall if you want a pair of Crocs to wear on the street - these are ideal for the purpose.

I have another pair of standard crocs and wear them outside on my apartment balconies - one pair per balcony. These are different than standard crocs but not a pair of trainers ('sneakers'). What have I found different to standard?_ they feel softer overall_ there is a smoother feel on your foot when wearing them_ there are fewer ventilation holes_ they do feel slightly padded when wearing them_ they feel slightly smaller comparing crocs of the same size to the standardOverall they do look and feel different to standard crocs. I am not sure if they would last as long but that is just a feeling. They certainly feel as if they will last a long time so no overall issues.Which ones would I get again?I think I may actually get these type. They are more comfortable to wear. One recommendation though is if you like them in a loose fitting, to easily get on and off then you may look to get a slightly larger size than normal.

Bought to replace my old Yukon Leather (discontinued) which after many years have started to disintegrate. When I saw these on offer at £16 I snapped up a couple of pairs. Despite being less than half the price of the old ones they are every bit as comfy and appear far more durable as well as being better ventilated. You have to get used to Crocs clogs but once you are will find you don't even need the heel strap to keep them secure. They are as good as slippers as they are outdoor shoes - perfect for working in the ICU as wipe clean easily. Some reviewers have complained they are too narrow - I've got really narrow feet - they're not as wide as my old pair but for me that's a plus.My feet are a UK10.5 and the UK10 clog fits me perfectly.Buy them now while they're going cheap!

After 8 years my old 'classic' Crocs were showing their age and the grips had worn out on the soles. So, I decided 'damn the expense' and to invest in a new pair. I chose these as they were reportedly less clunky and I liked the 2-tone effect with the white soles and elastic. However, I was a tad nervous as regards fit.Well, no worries in that regard! Whilst being narrower, I have found them to be a perfect fit both for bare feet and when wearing thick socks. They are also very comfortable. I think that once you get used to wearing Crocs, there is nothing more comfortable. These are great as slippers and for pottering around the garden. My only question would be their longevity - and in particular the elastic gussets.Time will tell and in the meantime, I am very pleased.

I've worn various types of Crocs for many years - their classic clogs, flip flops, sneakers and boots. I started off with the classic clog but I never felt happy wearing them with shorts or a skirt as although they were very comfortable they always looked big - "like the box the boots came in" as my Mum says! - and I would only wear them with long trousers. HOWEVER, as the Citilane clog has a narrower "sneaker type" fit - I enjoy wearing them with shorts or a skirt (as well as long trousers). I love the design and would note that the shoe fit is true to size (i.e., I bought my usual size).

I already own several pair of these and purchased these during a sale ready for when my old ones run done and it well looked after and maintained could last many of a year (personally mine are already over 8 years old and still wearing well), perfect for keeping feet warm that during the cold wintery days find I can wear without socks, clean with anti bacterial wipes inside each day to prevent bad odour and buffer occasionally with "Crocs Unisex-Adults' Butter Shoe Treatments and Polishes " that can also be purchased on amazon and these crocs should wear you well.

I shopped a long time to find Crocs that do not have holes on the sides but do have ventilation on the top. These Crocs fit the bill. I like to look, the sizing was fine and the heel strap works well. My only problem is that I have old, bony feet and the plastic on the top rubs places on my feet. That's really a foot problem, not a Croc problem. I wanted no holes on the sides cause I live and work on a farm and knew holes would fill withmud. This is my first pair of Crocs but they seem okay.No

Great crocs but I was sent wrong size and they are too big I ordered women 5 man6 and I received mans 6women8 I kept them although too big as I only use them at home they still stay on my feet but are too long ( by 2 sizes ) just be sure to order next size up I normally wear size 4 if I buy from clarks or hotter but a 5 if from other uk stores due to wide feet and high instep would still recommend as very comfortable and I do have lots of problems with shoes trainers etc even when I buy fitted

14.7.2016

These Crocs Citilane Clogs are very light and versatile to wear. With a swing back strap they can be worn as slip ons or with the strap behind the ankle for a more secure fit.The elasticated stretch panels are ineffective when the straps are in the slip on position but are useful when the strap is used behind the ankle. The EVA sole has a tyre tread pattern but is slightly slippy on smooth floor surfaces.Apart from this small problem they are very comfortable to wear.

14.12.2016

Crocs seem to have a bit of an image problem but I wanted a pair to be used as slippers. They are comfortable, and I can take the bins out in them ;)Would I wear them out on the streets. Nope but for what I bought them for they are great. They fit slightly large, I'm an 8, I got an 8 and they are ever so slightly large, but I think any smaller would have been too small. They are a well made comfortable shoe, Crocs are crocs basically. Great price

11.1.2017

Easy on, easy off, and such a large size (they fit me fine) and the garish red colour has stopped my two lads from nicking them as slippers when they go to neighbours' houses...as teenagers they don't like to be thought of as fashion failures whereas I've gone beyond caring what anyone thinks. With my more demure normal pairs of crocs I could never get a pair together because they left them all over the place. Steve Riches, Northampton, UK.

Crocs seem to be having a problem with the sizing at the moment, the 1st pair of originals in size 10 were comfortable and very roomy, the 2nd pair were a slightly snug fit (again size 10) but fit really well, the latest pair are stylish and comfortable but there is a good half inch from my heel to the back of the shoe. I will be keeping them however as I am not confident that a 9 wouldn't be to small for me. Good quality as always though.
