Great game that is tons of fun for the little ones whilst they're engaged. Game has changed slightly since i played it as a child in that you push in the teeth rather than pull them out however I believe this is an improvement, you can't lose the teeth this way. Seems fairly well made and appears as good value for money. The only downside is that when playing with toddlers if they position their hand with an upward tilt when playing the snap down can be painful. Having tested it on myself it was no wonder that some of the kids were scared away from it after one use.

Purchased this alongside a bottle of Fireball (not available at Argos) for a friends BBQ... I think we all know where this is going! Every time the mouth snapped shut you did a shot and hilarity ensued. Robust and reliable build allowed for 8 boozed up rugby players to play the game for far too long with absolutely no damage (to the toy at least), although prolonged use may cause nausea and memory loss. Highly recommended for people of all ages... but maybe not the Fireball for kids?! Your call

My 2 1/2 year old nephew absolutely loves this; he would probably give it 5 stars!I remember the original Crocodile Dentist which used forceps/tweezers to remove the teeth whereas this version has fixed teeth which are pushed in turn whilst waiting to see when the teeth are going to snap.I don't think older children will like this as much as the original therefore I am anticipating that by the time the children in my life are 5 or 6 they will be bored with it.

The game itself had everything ready to play. Easy to set up and instructions give a clear instruction on how the game is played although you have your family way of doings things hahha, we have had hours of fun playing this board game and feel this will be an ongoing game to play. Would recommend this game as a family of all ages. Also order from Argos as it's the cheapest place selling this board game! Argos Is awesome :)

Great fun for my kids - they ask for it time and time again. It has been sturdily made, and there's not much to it so no pieces for my boisterous boys to break or lose! The rules and operation are very simple so even their toddler sister gets to join in. The snap isn't too hard so doesn't hurt but is enough to make everyone jump - a source of amusement every time. Simple is often the best, and in this case it really is.

Waited ages for this game and purchased others whilst waiting for this game to be in stock. Crocodile dentist is the best of the bunch, there are no 'bits' with it (like in operation, buckeroo etc) so easily transported and played. Also great fun (be warned, lots of screaming involved) Grandkids love it and actually so did their mum, aunty and uncle Highly recommend this game

The crocodile dentist was lots of fun with a great snappy action making the two boys jump! The simple but effective design was safe whilst pulling the teeth and the jaw closing. I bought it for my friend's five year old boy who really liked it but my three year old boy also joined in and couldn't stop laughing! I will definitely put it on the Christmas list for him too!

I bought this for 8 and 10 year old children who loved it but found it was my 62 year old mum who was addicted to it most.It is simple and fun, it makes you jump but in a gentle way. I love the fact that it's intuitive and easy to learn to play. It made us all laugh and we came up with different playing styles. It's well made and I would highly recommend it

Good quality product and a fun game to play without the need for batteries.I have only marked it down because I played this game many years ago (which is why I bought it for a friends young child) and back then, besides snapping at you when you got the 'poorly tooth' it chased along the surface at you as well which was fun but this doesn't happen any longer.

Great game. Really fun. Good to help with turn takeing. Easily set up. Just open the mouth easy to store away back in to the box. Definitely recommend fun game for the family. Not just for the children lol we did click and collect online to pick up in store. Staff fast and friendly and efficient. Thanks Argos byker. Five stars for you too

My 3 year old boy loves this game. It’s not difficult at all to play as all the players need to do is push a tooth down and hope that it’s not the sore one. When the crocodile closes his mouth, it doesn’t catch little fingers. I probably wouldn’t pay any more for it than I did in Argos as it’s a game that only lasts a couple of minutes a time

Such a simple game but it made for a very fun Christmas. My son loved making everyone jump as we took turns to see who got snapped! A game that requires no batteries, this was better than I thought. My son had seen it on TV and I'm really glad we bought it. It's not a game that requires any thought but does keep the little ones amused!

Bought this game for my niece's birthday (on request ) and it was better than I remember growing up. The change to pushing teeth down instead of pulling out makes it more durable as teeth can't go missing and the snap action still as nerve racking! A great game, lots of fun and on a 2 games for £25 deal making it all the more value!

Brought this for kids during lock down, got it mainly for my 2 year so we could learn him to start playing games and taking it in turns as my other are older and there games are suitable for him.He loves it and has really go the hang of it quickly. Well built as well for little hand that don’t know how to be careful or gentle yet

This game is ideal they can play alone or with younger/older siblings as it’s easy simple and mess free. I’ve seen new packaging recently and it won’t be the best one to wrap in wrapping paper or use the box to store in... Argos will no doubt update picture soon if they have the same stock as the ones actually in Sainsbury’s.
