One of my most amazing experiences that I will ever forget is Snorkelling in Egypt, it was so special that I shared my experience with friends and family but words alone just weren’t enough, I would have loved for my children 10 and 12 to share what I had seen. This year we are going back to Egypt so I have got both children this Cressi Snorkel set in the hope they will get the chance. Out of the packet the mask and snorkel feel really well made, the mask is a good size that has really soft and mouldable silicone that allows for a snug and comfortable fit, forming a tight seal. The straps are easy to adjust and also really soft, the lenses are quite close to your head so when worn they don’t look big and clumsy,they also offer a wide range of vision when worn. The snorkel too is soft and rubbery on the mouth piece which makes it comfortable to hold and use, there is a clip for holding the snorkel to the mask, keeping the two together and your snorkel pointing in the right direction.Although a little nervous about swimming in the open sea my two kids and myself are very excited at the prospect of a family snorkelling trip, they have both been practicing in the bath for a couple of weeks, next comes the swimming pool and then the big event, can’t wait The Cressi brand has a lot of heritage, the product is clearly well made and I think the price point is fair in reflection.

Excellent quality and very comfortable as you would expect from Cressi-sub.The mask seals very well without requiring much tension in the strap, and is easy to adjust. The drain valve makes it easy to purge, so there is no need for any of the silly gimmicks which you find on 'toy' snorkel sets.The tube is the perfect length and being slightly narrower diameter helps reduce dead space without affecting breathing resistance. The only slight criticism I have is that the mouthpiece is integrated with the tube, and therefore not replaceable. (That tends to be a feature of more expensive snorkels). My 6 year old son got a bit excited, and accidentally bit off the tabs on the mouthpiece. Not a problem,as it still works fine.All in all, this is an excellent first snorkelling set that should last for many years.I brought a small adult size Cressi snorkel and mask when I was 15 years old. It cost twice the price back then, because you couldn't buy good quality gear for kids. I have been using it regularly for snorkelling and scuba diving over the last 18 years, and apart from looking a bit worn, it is still just as good as when I brought it.Don't waste your money on cheap tat from unknown brands.If you buy this set, you are getting professional quality at a budget price, from one of the oldest and most respected manufacturers of dive equipment.

The snorkel set I had as a child was one of those that you bought off the stall whilst on your hols. It would be sat next to the Kiss Me Quick Hats and fake Manchester United tops and it would only last the week. The 'Cressi Kid's Ondina VIP Snorkelling Combo Set' is not that set. For one thing the lens is formed from one piece of quality glass than the two pieces of cheap plastic I always had. This means that it gives a very clear line of sight and does not scratch as easily.The mask will fit most children 7-12 as the strap can be altered quite easily. The snorkel itself has a flexible bite that is a little softer to place in the mouth and has an end that is designed to stop too much water gushing down.Even at the very reasonable price that the 'Cressi' is pitched at, I would normally pay quite as much for a snorkel, but once you use it, you can see it is worth the price and is not actually that much. This is a set that is of a far higher level of quality than I am used to. The aquamarine is a sort of blue so to the colour sensitive child this may be an issue, but the same design is also available in a red. The build quality is such that this should last a few holidays, rather than just the one.

My children love to use these snorkeling sets in the pool, because the nose piece keeps water out when doing rolls and handstands underwater. We have been through lots of sets and have tried cheap pound shop sets, but they don't last very long. The rubber is the first thing to go and the plastic ring that holds the mouthpiece to the mask breaks making it impossible to use.This set is obviously much better quality. For a start, the mask is made with tempered glass rather than plastic and the mouthpiece is held to the mask with a sturdy clip which will last far longer than a flimsy ring. The skirt around the mask which keeps water out is made of thick silicone rubber,as is the adjustable strap which won't perish or stretch. The mouthpiece itself is nicely molded and a good size to fit comfortably in children's mouths.I wish I hadn't wasted time and money constantly replacing our sets with cheap ones , I'm sure it will be much more cost effective to have bought these sets in the first place!

Cressi are a highly reputable pro diving equipment manufacturer, and their children's stuff is scaled-down versions of the adult kit, with no compromise on design or manufacturing. Thus with this set, you get the same carefully considered design details - the mask has a soft, silicone skirt that clings to the skin giving a watertight seal on any face, a wide-angle lens design with high visibility, and a ratchet fastening system that is easy to adjust even when the mask is on, which is a boon when the kids are eager to get into the water. The snorkel features a drainage valve to empty out any water, and a splash guard at the top to prevent water entering.It's a high-quality product for only a little more than something you'd buy in a supermarket, and is highly recomended.Suitable for children 6-11, and petite women.

I have one delighted grandson. He has progressed from the Cressi mask which is fantastic, to this Snorkelling Combo set which he loves. A holiday is forthcoming and he cannot wait to go in the sea and use it. So far he has been practising in the bath and like all the Cressii masks this is comfortable does not leak and so simple to adjust to fit accurately.Made of the same silicone as all their other products. I have complete confidence in these masks and tubes and have no hesitation in recommending.

Bought for my 8yr old son, so far he has only used it in the bath as it was a xmas present but it seems to fit him fine. Good quality and he seems pleased with it so far. It must be pretty watertight against his face as normally he doesn't like putting his face under water but this is giving him lots of confidence underwater.We will try it in the pool soon, and the sea when weather permits.

Fantastic mask and snorkel, used everyday for 10 days straight on holiday in Sardinia.both in the pool and in the sea. Other peoples cheaper snorkels started taking in water or physically broke, however this snorkel set didn't let me down once! It's definitely worth paying slightly more for this one than a cheaper alternative, highly recommend!

My kids love the idea of snorkelling but we have gone through quite a few masks and none have lasted very long. Either they leak or are terribly uncomfortable. I have a cressi mask myself so felt quite confident trying this one. It fits my 8 year old well and even the snorkel is comfy. Delighted, thanks

I bought this snorkel set for myself and my 7 year old son to share. It fits us both well and is easily adjustable. Good quality and design. Valve in the snorkel mouth piece makes it very easy to clear the breathing tube. Very pleased and would recommend to any smaller ladies or children 7 to teen.

great set for adults and fits perfectly my 9 years old. I bought first one last year for my self and used in Spain, this year I bought another two for my husband and son. fits perfectly and doesn't leak. Mouth piece is very soft and flexible so makes it comfortable to use for long time

I'm very pleased with both mask and snorkel. The snorkel stands out for how little water gets in through the self-sealing top, and how quickly it's expelled through the bottom valve with normal breathing. The mask seems to seal well and feels like a quality item.

Packaging is basic but does the job well. The actual piece is good quality, mask is well built with good visibility. The snorkel is also good, but worried about the soft plastic seal on the one end though as it easily pops out. Overall a good basic mask.

Purchased for 8 year old son for snorkelling on holiday this year. Absolutely fab, no water leakage. Easy to adjust and hopefully will last him a couple of years. Definitely recommend this product.

We are in Egypt and the kids love this mask and snorkel. Fits well and easy to use. Kids say they are great and are enjoying looking at the coral reefs and fish.
