Cressi AGUA Short Swim Fins - Fins - Black/Silver - Size 43/44 (8.5/9.5)Good value closed-heel (non-heel strap) short training paddle fins from reputable makers Cressi.=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===* The shaped paddle blades are made of stiff plastic with flexible rubber edges and bars to control the flow of water as the fin moves through the water during the kick cycle and provide extra strength and force; the rubber strips allow the fins to create a U-shape to capture and contain water more efficiently during the vertical kick cycle, creating a more focused jet of water and thereby enhancing propulsion* Foot sizing is accurate, which is vital in closed foot pockets such as these which don't have heel straps* The foot pocket is made from soft, flexible rubber and comes in a range of sizes so you can find the one that fits you snuggly without pinching* Can be worn barefoot or with fin socks* Grey detailing on the fins so they aren't just bland black, and these also come in blue and grey colour ways* Open toe foot pocket for cooling water flow and accommodates different foot sizes* Comes with rigid plastic forms to hold the flexible rubber foot in shape when not in use* Made by Cressi, the "oldest scuba diving equipment company worldwide", a company which has been innovating in underwater sports for 70 years and is still owned by the Cressi family; the company produces all sorts of diving masks and snorkels (and every other type of diving equipment)=== NIGGLES ===* With closed heel fins, it's vital to get the sizing exactly right, otherwise you risk pinching, slipping and blistering; open heel foot pockets with an adjustable heel strap give more leeway but tend to be more expensive* Without a heel strap, the fins can be trickier to get on and off* It's better to have brightly-coloured fins so they can be seen underwater - yellow is especially good if you'll be using them a few metres down - but these fins only come in variations of black, grey and blueFor sale at the time of writing this review at £17.84 (RRP £20.99).

Have road-tested fins before, in my own shoe size, and always found that my fat little feet were not comfy (basically I could not get them on..). So was thrilled to have a chance to road-test this pair of fins, which is actually the size above mine (42). And they are perfect - they fit my feet and moulded to them beautifully. As fins, they are sleek, easy to put on and comfortable - and they stayed on with no problems at all. As the name implies, they have shorter blades than the usual ones used for snorkelling and diving but they certainly are not lacking in power. I have tried them out swimming laps at the local pool and found them excellent for both speed and control.I will definitely be taking them on holiday next year - and taking them body-boarding with me in the summer. The one thing I would say is that if you have a high instep, or have fat little feet like me (I actually have both issues) you may find the next size up will be worth a try. I find them a touch too long, but it is not an issue and, if I had got the smaller size, I wouldn't even be able to get them on (based on past experience with other fins and other brands in my own size). But for anyone with normal feet, I am sure the regular sizing would be absolutely fine. Certainly other reviewers have not reported problems.

I recently got into bodyboarding and an essential item are finns. The first pair I bought were some Adler ones for around £25 along with some finn savers for £4.99.These were too heavy and stiff, walking into the sea was difficult and even once you’re in the water it’s very easy to get knocked off balance by a wave when standing in the sea. I’d often find self scrambling for my footing as the finns would drag my feet downwards and the “toe” end would stick it into the sand.So I did some research and came across some top 5 bodyboard finns articles online and then checked all the prices on amazon and I found these Cressi short finns considerably cheaper than other finns and one of their majorfeatures is they’re short and flexible. When I bought these they were £13.99 and now they’re £15 or so but these are amazing value for money. It’s much easier to walk into the sea with these on, still tiring but definitely easier and I had no issues with losing my footing at all. Most importantly they helped greatly with my bodyboarding, I was able to catch 90% of the waves i went for and rode most to shore as opposed to 5% or less when not using flippers.Highly recommend these for bodyboarding.

I used to be on a swim team and used fins similar to these for distance training. The old fins have long been gone, so I wanted to get a new pair. The fins are great! I like the length, they are shorter than my old pair, but still allow for maximum propelling motion. The shoe is marketed as "self adjusting" I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean, as there is no "adjusting" persay. However, they do fit my Womans size 9 feet, loosely, but securely. I've used similar fin "shoes" before and prefer them to the strapped kind anyway. The blue/colored part of the fin is a harder material than the black shoe which is a soft flexible rubber like material offering an altogether comfortable fit and swim.My feet and calves did eventually start to cramp, but I think it was from swimming over 1,000 yds for the first time in 10 years. If I ever need another pain, these will be my first choice.

These fins are really good for me to use when I'm in the pool or when we are out off the Dorset coast doing some snorkelling. They are short fins, so not nearly as tiring on the feet as full sized fins can be, especially if you are not used to using them. They don't offer the same propulsion as larger ones but I actually quite like that about them, they are great for gentle training and for building up leg strength, but without making you tired after just a few minutes use.The materials are very nice quality, they are light and flexible, and the fit is very good. I am a size 8 and my husband is 9.5, and we can both wear them, though they are just a smidge large on me,though still work fine. These would be a good choice if you want to use them for endurance training in the pool, as they are light and compact and fit easily into a swimming bag.5 stars.

-Loved the quality of the Cressi Adult Light Short Swim Fins. I wear a size 8.5 and sometimes a 9 woman's shoe. So I matched it to the 8-9 Woman's sizing choice. As a backup I also ordered the 9-10 Woman's size. The 8-9 Cressi was too small for my feet and the 9-10 barely fit as my big toes peeked out onto the ridge of the top of the open toed fin. PROS: Well made, no smell, light, compact, moderately priced. CONS: Sizing of item is smaller than listed. Order a size up for this Cressi product. I look forward to swimming next week in the 9-10 sized fins during my cruise! PS: These fit on the bottom in my snorkling backpack perfectly which I also bought through Amazon. They sit on the bottom of the bag away from the separated portion for dry clothes/items. I would recommend this product. Just choose the right size.

What’s good:Good qualityNicely finishedFit for purposeWhat’s not so good:Nothing much at this priceThese are a great set of short-fins that have been well-designed and manufactured. They offer a slight flexibility on foot size so you can feel relatively assured if your ‘natural’ foot size fits within the range of a particular fin size. The fin part itself is nicely flexible and gives you a decent result in swimming performance when you don’t need outright speed of a full-size fin but get something more practical and every-day, such as building up your leg tone and muscle. The inner-shoe design is also comfortable and well thought-out.For a price of c. £20.99 (at time of review)- depending on size and colour, I think these are a decent and durable product that do their job nicely.

These are great fins for snorkeling while traveling. In retrospect, I didn't really need them. I bought them to bring to Zanzibar to go snorkeling, but every place I used them I could have rented fins. Only bring these if you know that you will not be able to rent fins, or will be renting enough so that there will be a cost savings from bringing these. That said, if you are going to bring fins, these are pretty good to travel with because they are lightweight. Get these, rather than the adjustable size. I also ordered the adjustable size fins but returned them because they are significantly heavier. These are not really suitable for scuba diving, because they are too short. You would have to work harder than you would with larger fins, which uses up your air more quickly.

Having used longer fins for the past 50 years (:o) ) it did take several lengths in the pool to get used to the slightly diferent leg action required for short fins. I not only bought them for pool training but also for snorkeling. They are very good for training and (personally feel) they are a good compromise for snorkeling (if travelling and you have to decide to pack these or nothing! They are much smaller and lighter than long fins!). Although for snorkeling you will have to kick more rapidly than with longer fins and therefore not good to use if you are going to be in an area with strong currents. I am a UK shoe size 2 1/2 - 3 (35), but on reading the reviews bought a size smaller 33/34 (1/2)and they are a perfect fit and very comfortable.

These fins are for a UK size 8.5 to 9.5 but you would still want this size if you are a nearing size 10. If your feet are any bigger than this then your big toes will be uncomfortably sticking out the end.The fins are really well made and my foot slips in easily. The small fin blade is about 5 to 6 inches long but it really does help you to go much faster, although not Phelps faster! I mostly use these to train in my local pool but they are just as good for snorkelling when on holiday if you have the room for them in your luggage. On holiday I leave the shoe horn behind and fill them with socks to make best use of packing space. The fins come with a shoe horn so that they keep their shape whennot worn.

I bought these fins mainly for swimming with a kick board to provide more resistance and to replace a set of old hard rubber body board fins which were much harder on the ankle joints in use. I have used these a number of times now and whilst initially they felt a little strange - more a different kicking pressure than I was used to) they have proved to be really good. They are about a 1/3 the weight of the fins they have replaced making them a great addition to our traveling snorkelling kit. As such I would recommend them for a good travelling snorkel or training fin. Sizing is as expected, not as tight as I expected but have never come off in use.

Perfect fit! I have a 38.5, 39 european size, which means a 8 - 8.5 American size. My husband has the same size as me. We both bought these to snorkel in Mexico. Perfect fit! Easy to put on, in the water as on shore. Easy to take off and on under water. I like the shortness of the fins. They work well, they take much less space in your suitcase. We bought them together with the Seaview 180° GoPro Compatible Snorkel Mask- Panoramic Full Face Design. We are extremely thankful with the purchase. It was more money then we initially were planning to spent, but so much worth. Glad we made the choice! Would not want to go back to any other fins or snorkel.

These are my first short fins, and my first Cressi fins, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I've traveled with them on several trips now and I really like them. They are great for snorkeling and ocean swimming. They fit comfortably with no rubbing or pinching, and my feet felt secure without feeling like they might slip off in the water. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, somewhat wider foot, and the sizing chart worked out accurately for me. They are light and easy to pack, easy to put on and take off. and easier to move around in than the longer fins. Love the blue color, too! I'm so happy I bought these because they turned out to be exactly what I need

I own a couple of different fins now and I really recommend these for anyone traveling who wants to snorkel. Being a good 20-30cm shorter than other pairs makes them really easy to cary around and pack for your holidays. The shorter length has little impact on propulsion, obviously not as good in this regard compared to a full size pair but it's a trade off I was happy to make to there ease of transport.Fit wise I found them really comfortable, probably more so than some of the more expensive pairs I've owned over the years. In short amazing item for beach snorkeling and definitely suitable for stronger swimmer to use deeper off boats.

These are well made, good quality short fins from Cressi. I usually take size 43 in a shoe - and these were a good fit - maybe a little short - but there is a space where your toes stick through - so no problem. They are a good idea in that you can use them for training purposes in a pool (and you will go a lot quicker - as well as giving your legs a good work out), as also have advantages in terms of case room for when you take them on your hols for a bit of snorkelling. They are supper flexible as well. My pair have not yet had the exposure to the sea, so I reserve judgement on that aspect, but I really enjoyed them in the pool.
