Creepy Hand is a fun take on the classic truth or dare game.In the box you receive the creepy hand, together with 100 truth or dare cards and an instruction leaflet. The hand does require 3 AA batteries which are not included.Gameplay is easy to understand. Players sit around the table and the hand is placed in the middle. Once switched on the hand will move around in circles, eventually pointing to the first victim player. The player the finger is pointing at chooses whether to take a truth or dare. If the player completes the truth or dare successfully they keep that card. If they fail, they have to face the forfeit written at the bottom of the card. Whoever has the most cards at the end of the game is the winner. There are numerous ‘Joker’ cards which you can spread out throughout the pack. If a player picks up a Joker card they can give this in if they don’t want to do a particular truth or dare. The game is for 2 or more players (though the more the merrier!) and is aimed at ages 7+. Having said this, my 3 year old daughter was more than capable of playing and really enjoyed it too.The truth and dare questions are relatively easy; truths being things such as ‘what is your worst habit?’ or ‘what is the worst thing you have ever eaten?’; with dares being things such as ‘roll across the floor’ or ‘pretend to be an animal’. Nothing too taxing meaning that the whole family can have fun being silly! My children found some of the dares hilarious! The quality of the game pieces is good. The cards are strong and not easily bent which is good when younger players are joining in. The hand itself is made of strong plastic and feels robust. The only thing I would say about it is it is quite noisy! There are rubber stoppers on each of the fingers meaning it didn’t scratch or damage the table.Overall we really enjoyed playing this game and would definitely recommend it for lots of family fun this Halloween!I received this game in return for my honest review.

This is basically a modern version of "spin the bottle", but instead of a bottle you have a creepy Adam's family inspired "thing" hand doing the pointing!Reading some of the other reviews on here, there seems to be several reviewers who experienced problems with their hand, but everything worked fine for me.The main question I had before I received this was regarding the truth, dare or forfeit nature of the game cards, and if they were suitable for children? Well, yes, they are. To give you a sample here are a few:Truth: Who in this room has the worst smelly feet?Dare: Take a pencil between your toes and write your surnameForfeit: Stand against the wall and imitate Spiderman until your nextturn.Truth: When did you last go to bed without cleaning your teeth?Dare: Pretend you are a cowForfeit: Mime a nursery rhyme. As you can see these are clearly aimed at children and although the box suggests it is aimed at children 7+ I think early teens and upwards might find the whole thing a bit childish. Nevertheless, there is no denying it went down a storm at my nephews 10th birthday party!

The best thing, as far as I'm concerned, is that the 'truth' and 'dare' cards don't contain the embarrassing options that a teenaged me and my friends faced, which were made purely to humiliate us. This more family friendly version of options means that everyone in our house can comfortably take part, which is especially good in our house as the festive season approaches, as we have family and friends forever coming round and this game keeps almost everyone amused. The only issue we've had is that Creepy Hand isn't a easy two player game; the hand stops and points at random, so you need at least three or four players to make it a little bit more spread out.The only other thing to remember is that you need to play this around a table,as the hand won't 'walk' on carpet etc. Also; despite the hand's unrealistic appearance, a few of the younger children (4 and 6) do seem scared by it, so this is not a game that I can whip out every time guests need entertaining.

This is essentially a game for kids from around 6 up to early teens.I'm not going to go about the rules - there are a few other review that wrote about that, I'm going to mention what I like and what I don't:Like:- very good for kids, they like silly humour and innocent "truth or dare" with truth questions like "Do you wash your hands after going to the toilet"- the hand is very funny (not creepy) and fairly stable, it moves in circles and does not fall of the table- there are sufficinet cards to last at least 10+ games (which is enough for a game for kids)- the games can last as long or as short you want them toDon't like:- It's fairly expensive for what it is (RRP £25)I'd say buying it under £20 is reasonable- a bit silly for adults - but we're not the target audience anyway- does not come with batteries

A clever twist on truth or dare, this creepy hand will have you playing along in fits of laughter. It is a rather strange thing to see this puce hand encircle the table, and then point; but once it does, you have no option other than to play - will you pick truth, dare or forfeit? One of the other players reads out your choice, and you do it. If successful, you get to keep the card, and the first to 6 cards wins. There is, of course, the chance to play your joker card, but we prefer to do without. Far more entertaining to watch someone squirm! The game can be played in under an hour, so no danger of boredom setting in. And there are some really nice challenges for 6 years and up,so good fun for all the family. Lots of laughter, and enjoyment all round.*requires 3 AA batteries to operate*

This game would be most useful during a family orientated Halloween party, where a creepy disembodied hand would feel right at home.As other reviewers have said, this is a version of the Truth or Dare game that most people will have played at some point in their teenage years. This one however, has questions and dares more suited to a younger audience, and obviously the hand rather than the more basic (but requiring less batteries) bottle. While I think this is a good game, and great for Halloween, I don't know how much this would be played in normal days of the year, although I could see my kids playing it just with the cards a lot more than with the hand as well.Overall, I think it's a good idea, and worth playing.

Perfect timing for Halloween; the creepy hand add a lovely creepy touch. The game is based on the old Truth and Dare concept but rather than spin a bottle for this game you have a mechanical (battery operated) green hand that revolves around in a circle before lifting a finger to pick out the next victim to select card with the option of Truth, Dare or Forfeit - the options are all child friendly, like Who has the smelliest feet in the room? or pretend you are Spiderman (an adult version would be a great idea) . The hand really adds to the tension and is such good fun (maybe a little scary for really young children!). Great game; Great Idea

Basically spin the bottle/truth or dare for children. This is a family favourite and is always thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Unlike other reviewers we have never had any problems with the hand; it's still working fine after many games. The questions are age-appropriate for everyone and the rules are simple to understand. It's also very easy to set up and doesn't have loads of pieces that are easily lost, unlike other games I could mention (eg. Mousetrap). I am happy to give this game the maximum number of stars.

When i purchased this game for Christmas, the children and us adults loved to play it.We had such fun. I have just recently got it out again to play it with my Grandchildren during half term holiday, and after one game it,the hand, stopped working,we changed the batteries, but no joy.I have been in touch with Amazon, who is trying to sort out maybe a replacement for us.I am looking forward to playing this game again soon.

Creepy truth or dare game, where the bottle is replaced with a slightly scary green hand. Who thought this up? was my first thought, when the hand slowly turned and pointed at me for the first time. It's quite a new feeling to experience in playing a board game, a scare dimension added to the excitement/fear of being picked. Weird, but it gets the right effect every time. The famoly loves it.

Quite a lot of fun, I thought it would be a but gimmicky but it's a family friendly version of "spin the bottle", with a surprisingly workable plastic hand robot as the bottle subsitute. Dares and truths for the selected person etc. The hand needs batteries (3 AAA) and doesn't work very well on carpet but it's good for younger children and a table setting. Fun.

After reading mixed reviews I wasn’t sure but glad I risked it. We all loved this game, waiting for the hand to walk around the table and pick someone by pointing to them. The truth, dare and forfeit were great fun and things a family of two adults and three boys aged 9,13 and 17 could answer. Great value for money
