I bought this game for my 3 year old daughter who loves to draw. I got her a DSi recently and wanted to get her games that would stimulate her creatively and educationally. Crayola Treasure Adventures was an excellent purchase. Even though it can seem repetitive for older children or adults, for young children it is easy to understand and do the challenges it presents. She never seems to get bored with it. The only negative I would say is that there is no function for saving drawings she does on the game, which to me seems like a big oversight, but it is still a great game for your little one.

So this was the second game that my 3 year old daughter got for her DS. Though she quickly got through the main game, she loved doing the puzzles and colouring in again and again, though there isn't loads of games. There is also a section that allows you to colour in pictures and though this seems really good, the stylus is too big for the small sections in the pictures and you also cannot save any of your master pieces!!!So overall if your child loves colouring, dot to dots and small jigsaws, than this is great!

This game is excellent for filling in spare time and keeping children amused. Long gone are the days for over-sized colouring books and pencil cases full of crayons, Nintendo make it possible to tidy up in an instant!Unfortunitely the finished pictures cant be saved which is a shame. There are plenty of different pictures to colour in and quite a few little 'adventure games'I wouldnt really recommend for an older child as it would be a little too easy and not challenging enough.I hope this helps!

this was for my little girl who had just turned 4. It is the first time she has ever played the DS and can play this game no problem without much guidance. She also loves it, she has 2 other games at the moment but this is the one that she always plays and has managed to almost complete it already - she got it for xmas. As you do the adventures you unlock different pictures to colour in and different coloured crayons so there is still alot of fun to be had after the adventures have been completed.

As a father of a 5 year old it's been nearly impossible to find a DS game which is intuition based rather than word based. Most games require reading skills which young children might not have, however my child has found this game very easy to play and has had endless hours of fun with it. I can also recommend the DS Carnival.

My son loves to have a go on his sisters DS but as he's only 3 and cannot read as yet he finds some of the games frustrating as he cannot read the on screen instructions. With this game he can colour pictures, do dot to dot and jigsaws. He's in his element and will sit for ages working his way through the treasure map.

Definatly a game for the younger DS user (except the speed colouring which needs daddies help to unlock next world!) my daughter loves playing on this game (age6)..I will second the view of other reviewer that it would be good if they could save some of their masterpieces.

My daughter is a colouring addict and absolutely loves this game. but equally my son who doesnt really colour very much also plays this and really enjoys it, so I think its a good choice for all children.

Gr8 game especially when travelling as you dont have to take books and pens. Game also has an adventure mode with jigsaws and more colouring to complete the puzzles to continue

This is a favourite of my youngest granddaughter and she plays with it frequently. A good challenge for a three year old and educational at the same time.
