Bought for my 15 month old son a year ago and have been used a lot in the last year and are still being used now he is 27 months. Aswell as scribbling himself, he likes mummy and daddy drawing pictures for him, asks for different objects to be drawn, loves saying what has been drawn and is learning about all the different colours. The crayons have been great for developing his english. Lovely vibrant colours, some look like they are the same colour but when drawn with they have lovely shade differences. Perfect size that do not snap when a toddler uses them, only 1 has snapped in the last year and these have been rolled, thrown and been occasionally stood on (with lightweight slippers!)Washes off when they mark the wooden floor (with a little effort), can't comment on markings on walls since fortunately haven't had this pleasure yet! Will be buying a second set since saves the time retrieving them constantly from under the sofa. Overall my son has more fun with these than some of his electronic toys and I like the fact it can be a shared activity that can be done with my son or one he can do on his own. Would recommend anyone with a small toddler keep this inexpensive set in thier drawer!

These crayons are perfect for little people. I bought these crayons when my daughter was 12 months old and she loves them. She is now nearly 2 and she has not managed to break or snap any yet. They are lovely and chunky for little hands to grip. They have a great selection of colours. We kept a few seperate in her changing bag, as they are a brilliant idea if you get stuck in a traffic jam, or to keep them amused in the highchair if you are eating out. These are a must have and travel everywhere with us!My little girl loves these so much I have now bought her a new set.The only drawback is that they do take a bit of elbow grease to remove from the telly, walls, furniture etc.But so far I have managed to remove any little accidents! I'm not sure that they would from wallpaper though, as luckily her accidents have been easy clean surfaces. If you have dogs, make sure these stay off the floor or there could be tears. For some reason my dogs seem to love eating stray crayons.Highly recommended, a really good investment that keeps them amused for hours!

These Jumbo crayons are much stronger than regular ones. My little boy is nearly 2 years old and although these can be snapped, they seem to last a long time before they do, and as they are large the two pieces can still easily be used.I have two older daughters too (aged 4 and 6) and although they have their own pens and pencils, they still enjoy playing with their "big crayons". These aren't as bulky as some other oversized crayons and therefore older children can handle them better when colouring in their pictures. When the weather is nice they sit outside and doodle away, these large crayons are perfect for then, when they are inevitably dropped from the table they survive the drop better, and when it comes to tidying up they are easier to spot (they have a habit of taking them all around the garden!).In a nutshell: These crayons have provided more play time than toys many times their price - they represent excellent value. Both my toddler and my older girls can play together with them - although they do squabble for dominance of some colours!

I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE CRAYONS.I had previously experimented with cheap ones. They broke easily but, even worse, you had to press on them really hard to get any colour - impossible for a baby/young toddler. These Crayola crayons are EASY for little ones to use and there's nothing 'wishy washy' about the colours.Just keep an eye on them with regard to them [a] ending up 'in mouth' and [b] going missing (which means they could end up 'in mouth' later when you may not be looking). Also perhaps I should mention the plastic tub ours came in only lasted about a month but then I did let her play 'take em out put em back in' with it a lot. It's all part of the fun.Anyway - the tub only lasted about a month and then it split and had sort of sharp 'corners'. Just means you need to use some other tub? (Little ones won't know the difference.)Have fun!

I bought these crayons to introduce my 14 month old son to creative fun. They are nice and chunky and easy to hold. The colours are really nice and bright and there's a brilliant choice too.My son seems quite happy to sit and chew them, or fling them around the carpet or sometimes fill his tin with them and then jiggle it about like a big rattle until they all spill out onto the floor. Guess who gets to pick them up?However he's having fun with them and does attempt to do some artwork when I sit with him and encourage him to make his mark.I enjoy teaching him the colours and I try to draw objects which are naturally that colour - ie yellow sun, green grass, red bus (this I'm finding hard, since my artistic talents stop at match-stick men!)Overall this little package of crayons is an ideal start to colourful and creative play.

as some1 said in a review i read here, they are not jumbo, they are chunky and short, but they do say mini kids crayons. which i think is good for little hands. i bought these for my 2 year old and they are great. they dont snap like usual crayons as he has tuff little hands and being short they are easy for little ones to grip. the colours are lovely with different shade etc. what more can i say about a crayon? i think crayola are the best you can buy, the only i brand i buy now for my kids. non toxic and safe for kiddies to use, most products are washable!. maybe not so good for older kids with bigger hands but great for little ones. i also have the funky looking jumbo colouring pencils which are even better!would def recommend those for younger and older kids, good to grip and easy to use which a good result from the colour.

The jumbo in the name refers to the girth of them, I think, not the length, because they're not very long. I'm specifying this only to prevent disappointment for anyone intending to buy these expecting huge crayons, it's not meant as a criticism. The size is perfect for tiny hands, but grown hands can hold them pretty comfortably too. My daughters biggest frustration with colouring with crayons was that they kept snapping in two. These haven't snapped so far (had them for over 6 months). Other than that, they are exactly the same as the original Crayola crayons.Tiny drawback. Because they have no paper wrapping, they start rubber their colour off on each other if you stick them in a bag that gets carried around a lot.Not a huge deal, but a bit messy.

The item title and the picture is really misleading. Does "Jumbo" not suggest overall product size? Well, I admit that the individual crayons are more "Jumbo" than normal crayons but I thought the tub was going to be at least the size of a large tub. Because that's what the pictures make it out to be. It does say in the specs how much it weighs but I have no idea what 200g is, and I'm not really bothered to go weigh or find something to compare. Anyway, if you cup both your hands, the tub would fit into that. The crayons are of good quality though, Crayola items tend to glide nicely across the page. There are also a wide range of colours.I just wish they were a bit longer in length so that they'd last longer!

They are about 7cm long and perfect for my toddler grandson to hold, I did buy him bigger ones but he just couldn't grasp them right and the thinner ones broke to quickly. They are made in mexico not china. They are lovely to colour with and if I see him raising one to his mouth I put my hand on his and help him to colour again, so he learns that this is what they are for.I have bought cheaper ones but they were more waxy and not as colourful on paper as what these are. They are crayola so I find the quality better than the cheaper ones. Yes they are small and fat but the next size up in chunky crayons are to chunky for my year and half old grandson to hold for long.

These crayons really are brilliant. Easy for little hands to hold (my toddler is 20 months). They have lasted for ages they still have the original point on them and have been used for hours! They seem impossible to break from dropping, bending or the occasional artistic chew (not recommended for chewing obviously!)Good range of different colours including real life natural colours....not just the usual primary colours.I strongly recommend ....have already ordered another set to store in cupboard / take on holiday......but not sure when I will need them as the first set seem to be lasting forever!

We bought these for our 2 year old after some trial and error with drawing materials. To save you the same process, here's a quick tip - pencil leads break when you drop them and with felt tip pens you don't dare leave your child alone for even a second in case they draw on the table / wall / kitchen cupboards. Crayons by comparison are an excellent choice and the chunky size makes them both easy to hold and resistant to drops. We've had ours for 6 months, they get regular use and they've still got plenty of life in them. Most importantly our daughter loves them.

I bought these for my daughter about 6 months ago and they're great and have really stood the test of time. She's only 18 months so doesn't do any serious colouring with them, but they're thick and so none of them have snapped (something I remember hating about crayons) and they make good marks on the paper but somehow manage not to leave marks on anything else she decides to colour.I'm really glad I chose these - she also seems to love taking them out of the tub, attempting to putting them back and putting the lid back on, so it's a winner all round really!

Purchased these for my 18 month old and he's enjoyed creating colourful marks with them without having to apply too much pressure. They are quite durable, I've had a couple snap but to be honest he loves to put them in his mouth so is probably why. The fact that they are not toxic is quite reassuring when he does have a chew of them although it's certainly not something that I would encourage him to do. Overall, I would by these again for him as they are good value for money and he enjoys using them.

They are regular, nice, but nothing extraordinary crayons. They do have a bit of a smell (not sure whether other crayons would not smell bad...) and some of the colors are repetitive (!!!!) so it is not a pack of 24 different color crayons!. My 15 months old baby uses them nicely but still will try to bite them (sometimes with success) and can break them when pushing too hard (2-3 crayons are already broken) - what is not really an issue I think. Mama, daddy and our girl love them.

I bought these crayons for my toddler. They arrived exactly as described in a handy little tub which can be used to store the crayons in after use if required. The crayons themself are thick and chunky, ideal for little hands getting to grips with basic drawing skills. The colours are bright and a good mix of shades is included. When I compared this set to those available in the shops I was pleased I had purchased it as it is very good value for money from a good brand.
