I choose this one because of the good reviews. I bought this one to replace my last shirt (same one) which lasted a couple of years. I believe that since I was riding/washing the same shirt over and over that the stink started to get locked in but what do you expect if you are wearing the same one every ride for over a year. It's always hard to tell but I originally had doubts wearing another layer in the summer however I'm pretty sure I feel cooler overall. It does a good job of pulling the moisture away from your body but at the same time keeping you cool since the mesh shirt is pretty meshy.I'll add that I bought a large and it is pretty big. I could have gone with a med/large if they had mid sizes. The neck hole leans on the larger side which is good and bad. good because you never feel something tight around your neck but sometimes it will shift right or left on you which is really just an ascetic thing where with your jersey unzipped a pit it looks off center. Very minor and I'm sure it fits different for everyone.Price wise I don't think you can go wrong. Other high end brands are way too expensive. So overall I put it this way. I liked it enough to buy a second one.

I have always worn some sort of an undershirt under my jersey for 20 plus years now. It's just what I am used to doing. I wear one year round in hot, cold, and comfortable weather. My previous version of this was made by Pearl Izumi and they lasted a very long time. I bought one of these to try something new and now I own six of them. I think it feels softer than my pervious Pearl Izumi models but admittedly I have not looked at their current versions. It fits as expected if you know your jersey size. I vary between a M and a L depending on cut, but mostly a M. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs. M fits perfect. My only downside is it is a little long and would hang out the bottom of my jersey if I didn't tuck it in.I wouLd say the picture is accurate on length as you can see it is 3 inches or so below the top of the shorts. I may shorten it to my personal jersey length but I guess that better that it being too short to start with.

Pulls off sweat and transfers well, even on hot days. While some may like the longer length, I feel it is too long, longer than all my jerseys and jackets. If I wear under bibs, it goes too low and can see the outline below my jersey line. I don't like the feel under my bibs like others do, so I wear it over, and bunch it up at the bottom and it stays fine.Great layer, keeps you cool, but for me, too long.UPDATE: after a few washes (wash only, air dry), it has shrunk just a little, enough that the length is ok. wearing under my castelli body paint bibs now, liking it. on hot rides (80+), though, I skip this layer; just bibs and jersey.

Works as advertised. This base layer is made of very light and soft microfiber mesh that effectively breathes and wicks away perspiration when worn under my regular microfiber cycling jersey. When I'm riding and the wind hits me I can feel the cooling sensation of the moisture evaporating from my skin. This garment works better than I expected. Note: If you like a loose fit you may want to order it based on your stomach size vs. your chest size, because it fits snugly. Also, like most polyester microfiber garments, plan on washing it about 3 times before wearing it to get the new itchiness out of if and to maximize softness.

Every bit as good as promised. This base layer will help you keep cool and dryer on hot days when you would might be very uncomfortable. The premise is rather counterintuitive in that adding an additional layer on a hot day would make you feel more comfortable, but the item does work. The mesh material wicks moisture away from your body leaving you cooler. At the end of a ride you will find that the base layer will be soaked, but you won't be. I am very glad that I went out on a limb and bought two!

I live in Texas. I can sum this review up in two words. It works. It works VERY well. After a 2 hour bike ride in 85 degree weather I was noticeably cooler than I expected. My jersey was soaked, but me? not so much. The material worked perfectly and effectively wicked away sweat to evaporate via my jersey and kept me very comfortable during my ride. Great product. Really, REALLY wish I could get a discount by buying more than one in a pack. (Craft, can you sell a three pack of these?)

Keeps you a little cooler when you're hot, a little warmer when it's chilly, and provides a bit more SPF.Definitely worth getting if you ride all the time. The only bad thing is that CRAFT insists on making their tops extra long. We're not all 6 ft tall!I imagine CRAFT would say something like "you get a better effect" but then again if you're 5'6" this'll fit you like a dress.I'm 5'10" and my weight has bounced around between 165 and 185. Size Medium has worked for me.

I've had this for years for my bike ride. It still works but it started to look a bit gray and slightly worn out after 6 years or so, so I got the replacement. Wicks away the sweat (really) in summer, and keeps me warm in winter (because the sweat doesn't get stuck between the skin and my bike jersey, which often evaporates violently on downhill etc). I also started wearing this as the innermost layer on my winter jogging, and it works just as well. Great innovation.

Whether it is a high temperature day or high heat index day due to humidity, using this base layer under the jersey keeps you cool. A couple of buddies who race advised using Craft base layers to help best survive summer rides in the south. At first I was skeptical on adding a layer in the heat of the summer but it does keep you cooler, dryer and also helps with UV protection. It is the way to go.

Purchased this as an undershirt durring summer months to wear some light collared shirts with. works great as far as airflow and wicking moisture away from the body.As an added benefit, on super hot days at home, I basically used this shirt as a wearable swamp cooler, and ran it under a faucet, put it on, and pointed a fan at me, and did a great job of keeping me cool in 90 degree heat (indoors)

Fits great, works well in wicking sweat and regulating temperature. Only used in very hot days so far. Also helps protect against chafing when worn under bibs. Wish it were cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Better than the PI equivalent for sure, and better material (less rough against the skin) than some of the cheaper knockoffs you find on Amazon. Also, better form fit.

I needed another mesh base layer, specifically a vest, for rowing. I have some mesh Rapha ones with short sleeves, and this is very similar. I recommend a snug fit to get the desired performance and sweat wicking. I am 6ft3 / 189cm, with about a 44 inch chest and 36 inch waist, 104kg, and the Large is a good snug fit.

Wanted a shirt to run in with perforations to minimize a farmers tan. This seems to be working. Giving it 4/5 stars because it fits tight even at XXL and I wish the holes were bigger; however in fairness to the manufacturer it wasn't designed for that. Very breathable, light, soft and good quality.

I am 5'11, 150lbs and this a small is ever so slightly large on me. Perhaps I just prefer my cycling gear to fit skin-tight and that's not how the designers of this particular garment intended it, who knows. It works though, and once my jersey is on I don't notice it at all.

Love this shirt. I now have 3 of them in size small and they fit perfectly. My only question is pricing. These seem to go on sale every so often. The most recent order was $27.55. A few days later it was back to almost $50.00.
