I use Boomwhackers on a daily basis and have 3 octaves worth (four using the caps) and now around 200+ in total. They are a great tool for my work with music with children as they require very little hand eye co-ordination to play. I have used these with 2-60+ year olds and they always great. Over time they do start to wear out, I have several with cracks in now. However I am using these at least an hour a day during school term time, as long as they aren't beeing bent, hit on edges of tables etc or hit to hard they last a long time!

These are brilliant! They produce a fantastic sound. They're fun to play, great to join in with my children and we swap them round. We either play one or two each and just bash them randomly and have a laugh, or we try and create simple melodies like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star if I want to teach them coordination and a bit of musical timing. Fantastic. I would heartily recommend for any age.

How can you not play these? My daughter and I managed to do a duet using our boomwackers amidst gales of laughter. Great fun, whack 'em anywhere. Bought them for my own use however as a teacher, I'd recommend them for children with special educational need - No fine motor skills needed but encourages working together to make music.

My one-year-old absolutely loves them, and bangs them a lot on the floor. The sound is nice, loud and clear.It would be nice to have some kind of a bag to store them together.My only complaint is the thickness of the plastic - does not look sturdy enough, and the ends of the tubes started to curl a bit already.

A bit of fun for music workshops, kids or adults playing. The higher pitched ones are harder to get a good tone out of them. Comes in a net which is handy enough for a bag. Lightweight and easy to transport. A bit expensive in my opinion but I will use them and they seem pretty durable.

These are EXCELLENT for introducing the concepts of beat, rhythm & melody to infants. Great fun and a massively useful teaching aid for groups. They come in a multitude of scales & you can also buy octivator caps which when fitted will lower that note by an octave!! Awesome!! ????

It's just some coloured plastic tubes but so much fun! Great to give as an unusual gift. They seem quite thin / brittle but you can really whack them & they're fine. I would recommend getting bothe the major & chromatic sets so you have the full scale to play more songs.

My children (aged 4 and 6) had a whale of time with these and where making "music" within minutes of opening. A fantastically easy way for young children to access music, without having to resort to the triangle, the maracas or (dare I say it) the recorder. Great fun

The boom whackers are great for our garden! We have added them to a frame for multiple uses for our 3 year old boy and he loves banging on them with sticks to make different sounds. A great addition to sand play too as he pours sand down the tubes to watch it fall.

Pupils and family members got great enjoyment out of the Boomwhackers. Plenty of musical creations made since purchasing the boomwhackers!Brilliant way to teach rhythm and the scale to children as they can hear and create the scales and rhythmic patterns.

I bought these for my class and they were a big hit. Perfect for teaching notes on a scale and the doh re mi notes. I plan to buy more to boost my purchase. Look on YouTube for good songs to play along to. My kids love them!

I love boomwhackers and this is a great standard set. I got this to build my collection - I want to have enough for a full class to participate at the same time. I plan to buy more. Good price and free, quick, delivery.

Bought this for my grand-daughter`s birthday it is what she asked for, I had never heard of it she had to come and show me on the internet(Granda`s eh)she is delighted with it, can make a great racket.

Simple yet effective, durable and easy to use, and managed to get them on a special offer at a bargain price - result. Great fun for kids of all ages, including big "grown up" kids too!

Very popular with the toddlers at nursery and in the church toddler group - so far, I don't think they've been used as weapons!!! They're too intrigued by the sounds they make.
