had these for a while now and well i was looking for a headset that was really loud and these do the trick i dont here anything from the outside world when gaming, they do not look cheap or tacky, very nice looking very comfortable for hours of gaming, the 1st night was a little uncomfortable as there a little tight but they sort of take mould to your head and i also were glasses with these and are still very comfy.the mic is very good everyone i talk to said it better than my previous which was a cheap gamescom pair also bought from amazon, i have heard my own voice also sound very clear. but the mic on off button is a little flimsy and when i turn it off it sometimes wont come back on,

I've been looking around for a new headset for some time and after careful consideration, I chose this one. I play a lot of games, such as World of Warcraft (a MMORPG) that at a higher level - for raids at least - requires teamwork and co-ordination. The mic is crisp and flexible and the lead provides a handy on/off button if you want to mute yourself.Previously, I was using a USB 7.1 simulated surround sound which had its own driver. I found issues at the start when using programs such as mumble and vent, as there were many options as to which driver to use. This headset takes that 'multiple choice'

The Corsair HS30 delivers excellant results for the price you pay for them. The first thing to note is the build which is mostly all made of plastic however this isn't a bad thing as the money has gone into the speakers. These are 40mm drivers which reproduce great sound without making it too coloured, The around the ear, closed back design of the ear cups remove outside noise really very well. The noise cancelling microphone is also such a surprise in terms of it's sound quality and makes for good communication to fellow gamers without worrying about outside noise. The last thing to note is the on-line control is simple and easy to use and is attached to a 2.7m non-braided cable.Overall...

Before I start I am writing this review from a gaming standpoint, not music / film etc.Firstly, the build is sturdy - it's all plastic, but it's very tough and lightweight for the amount that there is. It sits comfortably on my head without putting much pressure anywhere in particular, though it grips very well, fitting comfortably over both ears - and this is on it's smallest setting, I imagine it's very comfortable for big heads as well.The mic (from what I know) is good quality, blocking out a good portion of background noise while allowing me to be heard clearly. It can also be flipped up by the side of your head when not in use, clearing it out the way.

After buying headset after headset and having each pair just break after a month or 2 of use, even buying big brands like razer or razer and even razer, almost giving up and resorting to a separate microphone and headphone setup, I finally found the best ever!Pros:- Price, its £30 cheaper than the entry level razer product.- design. IMHO they look better than every other headset on the market and they are not too ostentatious, just sleek and minimal.- brand, corsair make great power supplies, cases, mice, keyboards, ram. Buying something from a company as reputable as corsair was a no brainer.- functionality, everything just works, great bass, amazing mic sound quality (no buzzing etc)

The single 3.5mm end to the hs30 plugs into the new Xbox one controller, being able to act as a microphone and a headset well. However, the build quality of this jack is not great.After using the headset for about a year with no problems on my PC, I bought an Xbox and was happy to see that my PC headset would be a perfect match for my xbox needs as well, however, after resting the controller on my lap while playing, the sound quality got worse, eventually stopping. I realised that the jack had broken due to the small amount of pressure the controller had been putting it under as it rested on my leg.Due to this I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this headset. But the value for money is very good,

good quality headphones and microphone. perfect for VOIP.do hurt my ears after extended usage (3-14 hours) but will probably loosen up after a while.good high / low frequency sounds, kind of lacking in the mids.fold down mic is handy, bends easily enough. mates report quality is good.cable is rather too long for my liking, (went with the 3.5mm jack version) but cable seems pretty good quality.don't use the volume controller on the cable as that means i have to remove my hands from my mouse.overall : they do the job.if sennhieser did headsets i would drop these in the bin.

I tried them as soon as they came, only 3 days.perfect sound with no distortion, you can't here anything from an outside source which does annouy my family as i can't here them souting when i play games in my office. they are very comfortable on your head with plenty of lead to connect to your pc.I'm very happy with these headphones.

Very happy with this headset, I have had more expensive headsets in the past and broke them within a month, I have had this headset for about 6months give or take and have had no problems with it at all, not even a scratch, The quality and durability of this headset is incredible, they are selling it too cheap if you ask me.

Very good headset, the best one I had in years.. Very good for precise games like CS:GO and other games where sound quality matters alot.Microphone is a bit quiet and I don't recommend it but all in all, for this price it's a good quality headset. I recommend it.

Very strong noise cancellation first bought. But once i broken into them they were very comfortable... The take some punishment and the mic quality is good but now the right ear muff is cutting out... Overall pretty good

Had these for 2 years now, fantastic product with no issues whatsoever.The earpads are a bit worn after 2 years of heavy use however, I'm seeking a replacement but have no idea what will fit them.

Damn these jokers are big!Very comfortable to wear! They're like so awesome. Good sound and microphone.Had to adjust settings on PC to use them but once set up they worked flawlessly.

I use this headset for skype and online gaming (bf4/dayz etc) and the quality is excellent. The sound quality is very good and the mic itself if set up correctly is also very good.

My son had a pair of these before and they broke after a year. But were great while they lasted. Gambling on these lasting longer - if not will look for something else.
