HiI recently bought a Macbook pro 8gb Corsair ram upgrade.It took literally 5 minuets to install 10 small screws out, back off, old ram out, new ram in. back on and screws back in their original holes (there are 3 that are longer than the rest).Then I switched on macbook it started up as normal I checked the about this mac program which now shows 8gb so all seamed ok.I then ran Rember (a free me memory testing program ) set to 5 loops took many hours to execute (over 4 hours) when completed the Corsair memory had passed all tests 100%.My mac now has a new lease of life and is much faster when running multiple apps.I highly recommend this upgrade premium quality memory from the worlds leading memory manufacturer at this price its a steal.

These memories work great. It is known OS X is a memory eater, and I found myself a few times when 8Gigs weren't enough. Until recently, the only option were those 1000$ memories from OWC. Corsair came with a down-to-earth price.Corsair is a renown manufacturer. I had so far five dual channel kits from them, and I had no issue (well, one issue a couple of years ago, caused by the electricity company, but that doesn't count).So far I had no stability issues with the MBP. Don't panic if you test the memories with memtest and fail. It's a known bug of memtest, caused by the custom HW and SW on the MBPs. Just test them against Apple's memory test.

So I ordered one of these and the 1st one got lost in the post?, so Amazon shipped me another one next day. It has been working just fine. I have a macbook pro 13" early 2011 model.The packaging of this product is different than what it shows on the above picture but the SPECS are correct! Main thing is it works. Well happy thinking of maxing out the memory to 16GB. Also this is the 1st time using Corsair as my regular brand of choice is just so expensive for no reason (Crucial).I definitely will recommend this product to anyone wanting to upgrade also when i bought this it was £55 now i see the price gone up.

Got mid range 2.5 ghz Mac mini which originally had 4GB RAM, upped it to 8GB but found myself falling short on memory while using Parallels (which is awesome BTW), so decided to take the plunge and drop this 16GB pair inside....No regrets! Ran memtest for several hours with no issues! Can run many apps including parallels with plenty of memory!If you got a 2011 Mac mini and your debating purchasing this... Debate no longer!! Great productNext step is probably an SSD!

I'm really happy that I went with that option, no problems with RAM exchange in MacBook Pro late 2011 where initially I had only 4GB. When I checked Apple store it was about 200Eur for 8GB and here for that money you have 16GB and some change for a coffee :) works perfectly, see much difference when editing & rendering videos and work with graphics/photos. Would definitely recommend product to anyone who wants to get good performance for a fair money.

Have been using these memory modules for a few months now and without any issues. Certainly notice my old MacBook Pro (mid 2010 model) is better at handling multiple applications being open at the same time and switching between them. My Mac's memory was previously 4GB and taking it up to 8GB (the maximum for my machine) was worth the relative low additional cost. They were also very easy to install, just watch a few youtube clips and all is clear.

I was told by an authorised apple retailer that using 16 GB in my machine wouldn't work and while this is also the official Apple line, well what can I say...it worked for me anyway. Very impressed. Ordered the item yesterday and got it this morning. Plugged in the new kit, powered it on and as smooth as butter and as slick as ice. The only issue, if any, I thought that the item could quite easily have been damaged in transit, as it was just sent in a cardboard envelope and no additional packaging. But if that is my only issue then I'm not really complaining. Wish I had purchased it earlier. Thank you.

ordered 2 x 4gb corsair ram at 11.20 am items arrived later in the evening at 8.00pm absolutely superb service.took a couple of minutes to remove back plate from mac mini and take old ram out and fit new ram in.fired up mac mini and it was as if it had a new lease of life.upgraded from 2 x 4GB to 16GB on a late 2012 mac mini.early days yet regards reliability but first impressions looking good .thank you..

Bought this because my Ram ordered from Komputerbay wasn't arriving on time, so I ended up with 32 GB of RAM when it finally arrived.Ram is great, passed all tests multiple times with no errors. Just check the specs of your computer and you'll minimize the possibiliity that something will go wrong. All good (I have to say that Komputerbay is cheaper and works exactly the same. Happy about both brands)

I don't usually write reviews, but felt I should as this RAM is excellent!I have a Mac Book Pro 2011 and needed to upgrade to more RAM to speed up my 3D renders. I bought this and never looked back! So easy to install yourself rather then paying double at Apple. I have already recommended this to a friend and he is doing the same. Overall best thing I've bought in a few years.

I have been using my shiny new 16GB RAM (I have bought 2 2x4GB packages) in my 27" iMac (2011) and it has made such a difference. New RAM works without a problem, and my computer is so much faster now. When you consider the price (for me it was around £60), it's a must have! Also I figured it's better to upgrade the RAM on my own then pay the double (or tripple) to Apple.

I purchased this to fit in my Mid-2011 iMac 21.5". I found it so hard to fit that I thought it was an incorrect item. However having spoken to apple Support and watched a You Tube video describing how to install I now realise you have to press really hard to get the new memory seated in the slot. Now I have done this it is working OK and faster.

Plug and play, very easy to put and until now works great. I have a late 2008 Macbook, the first in aluminum unibody and I had only 4Gb of RAM. It was pretty slow and I couldn't stand it anymore. Now, it works perfect with all the applications and the daily programs that I use. Great product and of course great Amazon experience.

This 16GB RAM is a must if you want to improve your Mac without the price hike that Apple charge for upgrading the RAM from their website. You might only require 8GB but the price for the 16 is pretty reasonable. So far the Mini hasn't rejected it and everything is working well. In my opinion, buy the 2GB Mini and add this!
