I've been really into the gym lately and was really constantly tired of taking regular old water bottles that you get from a 24 pack of water because if they run out of water then what are you going to take and I was also tired of taking water bottles that had the cap that you had to pull up on because you have to worry about all the bite marks on the cap putting a cap back on that you might lose so I decided to look around and search for a good water bottle so I went on Amazon searching for one of the best water bottle out there in the market and I came across this water bottle to me its the best water bottle and its so unique with the details and everything no longer do you have to worryabout pulling up the cap taking off a lead or unscrewing something to drink some water all you have to do is lift up a flat that keeps the mouth part clean from germs and push a little button in the back to dispense water how cool is that don't even have to sit there really do anything also it has a handy handle that you can flip up or flip down to hold your water bottle and also on the handle it has a nice little piece that you can pull down and have the handle be able to be attached to anything like a gym bag um maybe a buckle strap or something anything at all to keep it hands free and when you're done with the handle Strat just push it down and it snaps right into place and out of the way also one of the main reasons why I got this water bottle was for the main unique compartment slot that flips down the little slightly hidden compartment and it has a nice sleek compartment for hiding IDs credit cards anything of that nature and also have the compartment for a cheese so if you want chest to not have to worry about a big key chain and just take one key when you leave out the door to go to the gym or go walking you can put it there hit in and out of the way from dropping it out of your pocket or out of your hand and then to top it all off just go ahead and close the compartment and everything's heading out of the way I like the nicely compartment because of if you're ever going walking or something like that or to the gym or anything and something ever happens to you your ID is right there for someone to find and make sure that they can tell and identify who you are and the one good thing about it is when you unscrew the top to fill the water everything comes apart the compartment is nowhere connected to the water where you put your ID or anything at so you don't have to worry about it getting wet at any time so you just take off the lead top of the other top and its simple just throw it all in the dishwasher and call it a day and also they have a handy out measurement on the side to let you know how much water is in there and also millimeters on the front of the bottle I got the 24 ounce one that blue I like the blue because blue is my favorite color but I also like the blue because it's clear see through blue they come in other colors but I wanted the blue because blue is my favorite color this is something that I would recommend to any person that is looking to work out meaning as a performer for a dancer a cheerleader a gym rat a new person starting at the gym anything I would recommend it to anybody that willing not willing but looking to start working out

I am not the type of person who is passionate about water bottles, but this water bottle is my soul mate. My storage compartment ALWAYS has chapstick and a tiny nail file. In addition to this, the compartment can store a key and a card....which is great while on staying at a hotel or going to the gym. The latch on the lid can easily be hooked onto anything (I like to hook it onto the side of my backpack or purse strap.) This might sound strange but the best part about this water bottle is that you can drink it lying down!!!! Without any hassle or spill. It’s magical!!I have nothing but good things to say about this water bottle! However, my husband feels like the part that you drink from is unsanitary. The lid has this little button you press which opens the bottle so you can sip. Admittedly, I do notice that If I’m wearing lipstick it builds up on it throughout the day. I usually clean it while opening the lid and then throw it in the dishwasher. The dishwasher gets pretty hot so I’m not worried. Plus, I’m a dentist which means I am literally swimming in aerosols from mouths all day. So, this little hiccup isn’t going to keep me from happiness.I have been using this water bottle since 2012 and I am not interested in using a different water bottle. Overtime, the lid does start to leak (this may be my fault because I tend to drop the lid when opening it to refill.) I am about to by my 4th one since 2012, which isn’t bad if you ask me!! BUT IT GETS BETTER! Apparently there’s a lifetime warranty...? I’m not entirely sure what that entails or what the stipulations are but it sounds promising. TBD!

It's a great product and all but, after a week of use I noticed slight water leakage form the top of the bottle even though the top lid was on and secure. However this problem would only occur whenever the bottle was on it's side. Other than that minor issue, the bottle performed very well, I'm still currently using it. It holds a decent amount of water as well as a very cool auto seal lid. It was the first I used this feature on a water bottle so I was impressed. The pouch however is why I bought this water bottle, and it has been doing excellent so far. I initially was worried that it would wear out and the door would come off, but it has remained intact and going strong being opened and closed every other day for the past 2 months. It holds up to three cards, however I recommend only using one card in there. The card holder inside the pouch makes it difficult to remove more than one card, you can probably get two to work if you have the patience to deal with trying to force the card out, but three? It's just out of the question without damaging either the bottle or the card itself. Inside the pouch you also get a keyholder, which I haven't personally used, so I couldn't really review that feature but it is there and nice to have. All in all, it's a great water bottle, well worth the price, I only wish it could hold more water. I would recommend buying this one, it's worth it.

I got this for my mom to take to the gym and everything about the bottle is as advertised but the compartment is too small. The whole point was for her to be able to put her car key and ID in there but it seems that it can't fit most of the new car keys. I have a mazda key with a larger black plastic piece on it that is just barely too big and my mom's key is one of the key-less clickers which is not even close to fitting because it's too thick. However, I'm pretty sure the key for my old 2000 honda civic would have fit fine0 though so it really just depends on what you've got.Overall I am still happy with the purchase and have no other issues with the bottle.I love that its spill proof and really easy to drink out of with the push of a button. Because of the compartment they had to make the bottle a little larger than some of their other 24oz bottles. This makes it harder to hold with my mom's small hands (not a problem for my medium ands) but its great that they have an optional handle. You can clip it on to something or just use it to carry the bottle.*** EDIT ***The great thing we found out about that genius flip up handle is that you can easily just clip your key ring onto the handle, which is great so that way you can still keep everything together. Its a wonderful alternative if your key does not fit in the compartment.

I own a red, original 24 oz Contigo Autoseal (two years old) and I have to say, between the two, this one is much better.I'd advise only using water, or non-carbonated beverages (trust me, I've sprayed myself accidentally with the old one I had) for ease of cleaning, as the mechanism requires a little bit of work to properly clean. This water bottle is perfect - it holds plenty, is very easy to drink from (one touch), has a wide neck to fit almost any size ice cube into it, and has a nifty little mouth cover to keep the drinking area clean. The kangaroo compartment is the perfect size for an ID, house key, a credit card, and a receipt or two. It detaches by unscrewing the cap, and simply lifting off,but it stays on very well when the cap is on, so no worries there.I've dropped my red one and this one several times, and no leaks or cracks at all!My girlfriend has one, and she loves it too, it's great for walks or the gym. The handle on top folds down flat, and has a clip which is useful for attaching it to backpacks, luggage straps, or even a belt loop (I'd avoid hanging a full one on the belt loop, you might bust the loop!)All in all, I LOVE this thing and wholeheartedly recommend getting one for each member of the house (preferably in different colors)

Best water bottle I've ever owned! First of all, it's super convenient with the handle top that pops up whenever you want to use it. Secondly, the feature where water can never spill out of it, is amazing. You just push in the opposite side from the one you drink from, and that allows the latch to open to let you drink from it. That way, no matter if the bottle is upside down, in a purse or backpack, whatever, it still won't spill. i love it! Also, it's such a minor thing, but I kind of love that it has lines along the side of the bottle that indicate the 8 oz, 16 oz, and 24 oz spots. I like knowing how much water I drink in a day, and that really helps with it. Finally, there IS a little "secret" compartment on the side of it that can hold a key or your ids/credit cards (I haven't used this feature for fear it'll get stolen or I'll forget their in there), however, I could see how this feature could come in handy for anyone that wants to go for a bike ride and may want to stop in somewhere to buy something or a day when your hands are already full and you want to carry only the water bottle around. Overall, this is a really awesome bottle. It's definitely worth the buy and I would recommend everyone to buy this one! :)

I saw this on a Pinterest board. How neat, I thought. My water bottle goes with me EVERYWHERE. So should a key, Id and credit card! This bottle is like the bottles I've been using: 24 oz. size fits into cup holders, one button opening to drink (AUTOSEAL lid). I've been able to pack it with ice and fluids just fine. Almost spill proof. That AUTOSEAL lid - sliding spout opening has a drawback: it is very hard to clean. I have had this style of bottles for quite a while, taken them everywhere, through all seasons. I drink flavored water. The sugar coats the opening, looking moldy. I've used Q-tips, soaked it in bleach and haven't gotten it really clean. The inside of the bottle has always brushed cleaned well.I do like the improvements: a moveable handle with the Carabiner clip- so necessary. A lid over the opening so it's not exposed to the elements. The Contigo Auto Seal Cortland Water Bottle, 32-Ounce has become my new favorite. And I'm sure I can use this one just fine with that storage pocket.Keep up the good products!

Reasons I love this product:*if I fill it with ice cubes before adding water, I have ice water for at least 4-5 hours and cool water through the entire workday (indoors).*the kangaroo pouch is big enough for my gym card and a molded car key or the fob for my house alarm.*even if my keys didn't fit in the pouch, the carrying handle has a built-in carabiner that will let you hang your keys on the handle.*I dropped the bottle on concrete when it was completely full of ice & water, and it scraped it up a bit, but it didn't break!*While it's heavier than a disposable 16-oz water bottle, it's well-balanced and you can switch off between carrying it by the handle (which you can't do with a disposablewater bottle). One design suggestion I would have is that the bottle won't fit in "standard" molded drink holders in my car. (Happily, the leak-free feature means I can lay it sideways on the passenger seat.) More color choices would be nice, too.

By FAR, the best Contigo out there. I don't care for the card/key holder, but the feel, durability and pour spout on this model rocks. My whole family has Contigos and they will change how you drink water forever. We used to buy water bottles and create a ridiculous amount of plastic waste (we did recycle at least) and now we buy NO water bottles. Just fill our Contigos. Why? We've had many other refillable solutions but they would pop open, leak or be hard to drink from. Not true with the Contigo. It's actually more refreshing to drink water from you Contigo than from any other source. Something about how smoothly it flows out. Perfect. That said, there are many options.I've heard people complain about the straw ones (most buy them in a pack at Costco). Straws suck. Go with a pour spout. This one being the best. We also have the "Grace" model and the "West Loop" for hot stuff. They're all good, even amazing, but this one is the better.

Excellent bottle for working out. Not something you can really carry while you are say...running, or something of that nature because once filled, it does get a little heavy. I use it when I go to the gym and am on some sort of workout machine. It is easy to use, never spills due tot he button needed to push to drink, and the storage container, although too small for the average new car keys with buttons on them, will store things like an access card that you would normally put on a key chain to get into a gym. You can remove the storage piece when cleaning the bottle so if you have something in there that can get damaged by water, it will not be damaged. Lastly, when the lid is removed, the bottle does have a large enough opening to put ice in it which I know is a big concern for other bottles. Enjoy very much. Purchased the blue one for me and the purple for my wife. Great product.

its a very good product and its real 100% no leakage guranteed and i see this is the most important part about a water bottle, but the reason why i give only 4 stars that it has 2 cons, one of them, the id holder is not attached to the bottle unless its closed,it means every time you open it to refill the water it can fall from your hand because the id keeper is a part of the grip which is already loose when the lid is open,it should be afiixed permenantly to the bottle body, i unerstand it can be like this for easy wash and not to keep germs inbehind, but still should be attached somehow. the other thing is the cap is very big,i know its to be intact but the regular water bottle or the soda bottle also has a very simple lid and didnt leak either, thats maks it bigger size without using quart of the bottle.but over all, glad to have it and dfinately recommended

You know how some water bottles just look...cheap?? Well, this is NOT one of them. The handle is sturdy, the material is insulating and the colour is vivid. This Contigo is just everything you could ask for in a water bottle. I got the blue (but the pink is so cute!) and I enjoyed having a water bottle with a storage compartment. How cool is that?? I could fit my ID and cash or card in there. 24 ounces was perfect for me because that could take me through the whole day without a refill. If I was exercising, I would only need half a bottle or less. If you noticed that I said "enjoyed" or "was", it's because my bottle broke :( it fell from a high place (1.5-2 m above ground)that I hung it on and landed right on the bottom and broke. So it was my bad, no bottle would have made it lol. I will buy another, you should too;)

I really love this water bottle. There are no leaks from the lid or from the place where you sip. The cover is only there to protect the mouth piece from getting dirty and it opens up pretty easily (some can say too easily). To actually drink there is a button that you push in that opens up the mouth piece and its just the perfect gym bottle. I don't use the storage compartment but if you use a key-lock for your gym locker then it would hold the key for you perfectly. Other than a key, I just dont see anything else that would fit in there except for maybe a very thin wallet but it might get wet from the condensation.I highly recommend this product. It was actually everything I was looking for for a gym bottle.A warning though: this is not a bottle for runners. It's too heavy for that.

Contigo makes great one handed water bottles. This model is made of more brittle plastic than the other autoseals, but I like sipping from it best. It has a flip up waterspout sealer and fold out handle, which my bed ridden husband broke off dropping it on the floor a few times. After using a while, most contigos leak slightly. I believe it leaks less than the other autoseals We don't use the compartment, but it easily holds money, credit cards and a couple of single keys. Not much room for key fob/chain unless very slender. We had originally started using the water bottles (Addison) that used internal straws, but the water must be sucked out of the bottle and does not run freely. And the straw is another part that is too easily detached must be cleaned (pipe cleaners work great),

The "not-so-hidden" space will hold ID's, some cash bills, and some keys, but it's not large enough to hold keys and keychain (they don't always lay flat) (especially when you do have some ID's and bills in there too). I don't say this to criticize the bottle or the size of the holding space, but only to try and give an accurate description. it is handy to have so you don't have to worry about ID's falling out of our pocket as you work out. I do wish the bottle held more liquid for the size of the bottle, but since some of the volume is taken up by the holding space, it's understandable that the liquid volume is limited. But...there does seem to be a visual disconnect between the physical size of the bottle and how quickly one runs out of water on a warm, humid day.
