I cant believe this tent for this price 50 quid? absolute bargain I tell you!Firstly you need a two person tent even if you are just going on your own! you need room for your stuff as well! This tent is very easy to set up.put down ground sheet first, make sure two fabric straps of main tent are under ground sheet. its got a bathtub style to keep water out and also sewn in is the lining of the tent.Peg down the ground sheet.put together the main poles and insert then in the two sleeves, the end of the poles need to go in the eyelets on the fabric that goes under the ground sheet.you then need to just peg up the guy ropes to keep the tent up. pretty simple but practice in the garden before you go anyway.I enjoyed getting my tent up really quickly at the event from a little practice, and was so glad I did because it tipped it down two minutes after id put it up.I managed to break the pole getting out on the last day of the festival (The metal snapped that holds the poles taught) but i did fall on it to be fair to it, They are really tough and they are really cheap to replace. The tent pegs supplied are sufficient but I suggest you bring some spares as they literally dont give you any spares. The tent was excellent and stayed bone dry throughout the festival and there was tremendous gusts of wind and extreme driving rain, i was so pleased to be dry and that the tent stayed there, using the supplied pegs. (i Would recommend a mallet and to drive the actual hook into the ground as well)Well done a very good tent.

As a new solo camper, this has been a fantastic tent for my recent two trips. I can handle putting this up fine on my own, although the instructions are quite vague so practice before you leave home. The only time-consuming part is putting all the tent pegs in and fitting the guide ropes, of which there are many, but this is useful in high wind. Get a rubber mallet, spare pegs (in case you lose/bend some) and a peg lifter. There are no interior hooks to hang items except for the pockets, but I've found it easy to hang my torch on a hook that is attaching the porch end of the interior lining to the exterior tent. The porch is very useful even in good weather. The bag is a little small for both the exterior tent, inner lining, rods and pegs, but it does fit in with some practice.Size-wise, I would say:1 person - Loads of space for a single airbed and many bags. You will love it.2 people - With a proper double airbed and a row of bags there will be no room to sit on the tent floor itself, so you'll need to take turns moving around, but it should be fine.3 people - Room for 1 single airbed, 2 sleeping bags on mats and no bags except for in the porch, which has fairly decent shelter from the elements - there is a cover you can put down.

Coleman Coastline 2 Compact 2 Person Tent - Green/GreyWe had a few tents over the years.. this is the smallest my wife and I have purchased. Its extremely easy to setup, no need for instructions, it can only go up one way.. first assembly took us about 18 mins. the second attempt took us about 15 mins.. and the third about 12 mins. Its well designed.. with large side pockets inside the tent.. with good ventilation., we had no condensation in the morning even though the camp side with wet with due.. the outer sheet run off was good. There was no water collection points. we pitched literally about 20 feet from the bottom of Cadair Idris and then climbed the mountain after breakfast. We had a warmcomfortable night.Usually when you by a "two man" tent it's actually a one man tent with room for a bag of some sort. The coleman was actually not just a two man tent but a two man spacious tent.Tip.. keep the inside bathtub connected to the outer tent sheet and roll the whole thing more or less as you get out of it.. fits in the carry bag fine and will make the next pitching very easy and it will take about 7 mins to erect!!Ps the then will accommodate a fully inflatable double bed.. not bad..Buy with confidence..

Bought this tent in the spring with the intent of using it at Bestival 2011. Bought while still in the US I had it sent to a UK adress It arrived quickly very good ship. The instructions were easy to follow. It was very easy to erect even in a gusty wind. The tent proved to be very waterproof as it was off and on rain throughout the festival. The ground sheet proved to be efficient as no water leeched through keeping my stuff inside dry. The outer porch area although I kept zipped shut the entire time was a great help to keep muddy boots and a leaking cooler away from the sleeping area. The pockets inside were convenient for storing extras like a torch. The true test came Saturday night of the Bestival when a gale forced storm blew in. The tent stayed against the high winds and lashing rains when other's around me became either airborne or collapsed altogether. I awoke to the utter devastation of the cheaper made tents around me, The Coleman Coastline held fast. It was easy to disassemble and carry out.It is easily stowed and will be with me for years to come.

Good large solid tent. For the price, I think it's really rather good. I only have two complaints. One is that as many have mentioned, the entrance pieces seem to be mis-shapen: you cannot have them taut if you also want the "door" taut. It is simply impossible. Trust me. The sides of your entrance will flap around in the wind. This is OK except in rain, when it exposes a bit more of your entrance to the rain.If you are car-camping, go for something bigger, like the 3 Plus. The inside is very spacious, but you have your bed there, so you have to keep that area clean. This means that if you need to go outside in the rain, you will have to put your shoes and rain jacket on while crouching in the tiny front area. It's really only there for backpacks I guess, but that's the only place where you can put your shoes on while it's raining without getting wet. It's not pleasant. If you're not car camping, keep in mind that this tent is on the heavy side for backpacking tents. One final flaw is that there is no lantern attachment anywhere, which is a shame.

I've been camping many times, my previous tent was busted so thought it was time to invest in a new one...I went to Snowdonia over the weekend 2 nights 3 days, it was pouring with rain and 55mph winds...7 tents around me collapsedthey were drenched but this tent stayed up! I can't praise this tent enough! It was warm and spacious for two. Packing up was a little tough as the bag mentioned by others is small, however I rather have a small bag and worry about packing later than have my tent blown away in the middle of the night! We left our bags in the tent with us, the porch did have a puddle of water but I knew better than to leave anything by my waterproof boots out there and they were fine.We didn't get wet at all inside. Ventilation system was also fantastic!I'm going to keep this short and sweet I cannot fault this tent at all! It kept me warm, dry and stayed up in horrible weather!5stars from me! Thanks again for delivering this way before time!

I wanted a tent to take to a motorcycle rally. It had to be small enough packed up to get on my bike but also not tool small when erected to be cramped. I went for this tent as it had good reviews on Amazon and also looked like it fitted my requirements too. As it was my first rally I didn't want to spend too much either. When the tent arrived, it was erected in the garden and found to be really easy to put up and pack away. I used the tent on the rally and found it to be both warm and well ventilated. The size is right for one person. It could be a bit cramped with two people unless you had somewhere to store your kit.The only way you'd sleep three would be if they were hobbit sized.I used the tent again for a second rally last weekend and after constant rain for 13 hours am very happy to say that I was warm and dry with no leaks to report. It was even easy to pack up in the dark when the site was evacuated at midnight the next night.

Overall a great small 2 man tent best suited as a very roomy 1 with luggage really. It got it's debut at a motorbike festival in open fields so I had plenty of luggage including my helmet, boots and gear.PROS: Fantastic value for money!!! Roomy for one, strong, plenty of guide-ropes, rock-steady and quick n easy to clear away.CONS (minor flaws only):1) size it's a little heavy @ 3.6kg. I have a 1990s 3-4 man tent which weighs the same. This was crucial to me as I had to ride with it in a rucksack for 200miles;2) I was on my own setting up the tent. Ignore the 10-15 build time if you're on your own it'll take at least double that.3)I would've like to see the porch floor and porch walls made as one to reduce condensation build up on my footware.Otherwise great tent, surprisingly cheap and very sturdy. Very very impressed.Slept like a baby!Read full review...

It is certainly easy to set up and pack away. We have left the inside compartment attached which makes it even quicker to assemble and pack away All you need to do is roll it out, put in two poles and peg it in. It is large enough for a double mattress and the two of us fit in quite comfortably. However, we learnt from our first experience that we will have to fold in the porch ground sheet as we woke up to a huge puddle. Besides that little mishap, it is very waterproof - the water beads off and we didn't have any condensation in the morning. It is a great colour for wild camping as it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and is compact and lightweight enough to attach to a rucksack.Delievery arrived the next day as planned and we were able to opt to have it left in a safe place as we were both at work. Defiantly worth the cost.

This is the best tent I have ever owned, the quality is a huge step up from the cheapo supermarket tents that I've used in the past. The flysheet material and the ventilation are so much better. You can easily fit a double airbed inside, with about a foot of room alongside for your things. The porch area is quite small, so you won't be sitting in it, but provides more storage space for messy things like boots. It's compact, but maybe a bit too bulky and heavy for backpacking trips. In hindsight, I think I'd have preferred a dome tent to this tunnel style, as they are a bit easier to put up on your own (although it's still very do-able) and seem to get a bit more tension on the flysheet.Apart from that, it's well designed with many nice features. For this reason, I've given it 4 stars, but would rather give it 9/10.

This is a superb festival-style tent. Size-wise, it is luxurious for one (without being ridiculous), would be perfect for two, and fine at a squeeze for three. You know some tents where every single design decision is wrong, and others where every single design decision is right? This is the second type! About the only thing I could fault it for is not having a loop to hang a light at the top of the inner. Goes up easily, no problem keeping the inner away from the outer. For me (at least) much, much better than the Gelert tent I bought on Amazon before this one. You'd want something smaller and lighter if you were carrying it with you for serious trekking, but for a bit more comfort, and still a perfectly reasonable size and weight when packed down, this is ideal.

Just pitched the tent for the first time in the back garden and it was a breeze to do by myself and it's the first tent I have pitched in over twenty years !!!!!, so there you go it's basically idiot proof with only two poles to run through the fly sheet and with the usual pegging out it took less than 15 minutes, internally its very roomy if there are only two people but as with most tents it would be a pinch with three people including kit inside. The porch is a nice touch but sadly the external groundsheet in the porch does allow rainwater to stand in heavy downpours, also the mesh mozzy door net is a nice touch allowing air to circulate during the hotter evenings.Overall a pretty nice tentinside and out and a change from the usual dome tents

We're non-campers but friends invited us so we thought what the hell. Two weeks of surfing and reviews and I got "tent-blindness". Saw this one early on, and I'm so glad we bought it. Sleeps one large man indulgently, two full grown adults + gear comfortably. Not tried 3, but two adults and a skinny teenager would probably be ok too. Front "porch" is added bonus.Next trip all we need is a blow up bed, and I'll be a "glamper" for life!Quality - excellentDelivery - fastGreat shape - pretty cool for a tentEasy to put with two - managable with one. Take the advise of an earlier reviewer and set it up before you go and pre-attached the ground sheet. Goes up in minutes on site after that. All in all, even better than expected.
