Okay I froze at times on cold summer nights camping of late so wanted to upgrade my sleeping bag. Aim was for a 3 or 4 season bag. I bought (and retained) a Season 4 mummy bag by Mountain Warehouse. Very excellent bag, very warm BUT I found (personally preference) the inability to move (full stop!) or lie in my normal position really distracting getting to sleep almost to point of claustrophobic. So. My daughter (not so concerned and given is 7 not so constrained) has now inherited that one!Headed out looking for season 3-4 envelope bag. Not as easy as I expected. Mummy bags seem to be the more 'extreme' norm. Came across this bag,was put off by the spring/summer only reference in description BUT decided if its comfy down to -17 (a fact corroborated from other websites) then either the spring/summer is an error or that's spring/summer in the arctic! Either way that's cold enough that I'm likely to experience and not otherwise pack up and go to a hotel (ie: blessed with a healthy dose of British common sense). So its arrived. Its HUGE. I mean double sleeping bag size wrapped up and uncoiled its like a magic trick and expands into this ginormous cocoon. Not a problem for me as this is car n camping kit. Would think twice if I was a hike n camper. So I'm 6,1 , it says it caters for 6 6, I'd say latter would have some fun as I fit perfectly with not a huge amount (nor even 5 inches) of space left. Not a problem for me. It feels quality and it certainly feels warm. The zips are 'fancy' so don't get caught up in material and don't allow draft. Even the foot of the bag has a zipper to create a vent for nights when its warm. Most importantly for me I fit easy , have leg room and can attain the preferred heading off to sleep position (which is close to the 'recovery position' if you know what I mean - not saying am usually drunk unconscious ...not usually anyway.).Despite size of bag the bag it gets stored in is ample and I found stashing it back in pretty straightforward. All said , money well spent, and am finally (after much searching for a warm non-mummy bag) very happy!

I normally do not like sleeping bags. I can't stand the feeling of restraint being all wrapped up. This however is brilliant. There is more than am enough room to toss and turn, spread my arms out, and even room for the dog to crawl inside if the weather really drops. These are sold as three season bags, but they are in fact warmer than the four season bags we have had. I couldn't zip mine up all the way as it was just too hot and my husband left his zip all the way down to let more air in, on fairly warm spring nights. We did get a lot of rain though, and the tent from Hell - or Halfords leaked. I woke up in a puddle but the water didn't seem to soak all the way through so I stayed nice and warm.Dried the bag out when we got home and it was as good as new.I wasn't pleased at all with the material the lining is made of when we first bought these. It is very silky and smooth and I have had sleeping bags like this in the past that just stuck to your skin when it got warm. I brought a liner to deal with this, but then just couldn't be bothered to put in the first night as I was just so tired. Turned out I didn't need one. The material wasn't the least bit sticky and I was as comfortable as I would be in a bed with sheets and a cosy duvet.I really couldn't be happier with the bags, they are far and away the best we have ever owned. The only drawback would be for those pressed for space. I can't imagine selecting this for a backpacking trip and even in car these take a lot of room. These bags are best suited to those willing to sacrifice space for comfort, or for someone very large who might have difficulty with a regular sleeping bag.

This is by far,the best sleeping bag I have ever owned,by a long shot!.I am a big guy,6ft + tall, with a very large build!,but this bag gives me all the room I need.I tend to sleep on my side, with one leg drawn up to waist level, and an arm crooked around a pillow, over my head (if that makes sense) and I alternate from one side to another throughout the night, this is the only sleeping bag I have ever owned that allows me to do this.Even better though,is the bottom of the bag is extra warm,so people like me,that have a medical condition that gives you permanently cold feet, this bag is ideal. On top of that, you can unzip the bottom of the bag independently from the sides,so,if your feet get toohot, you can stick them out the bottom (just like a duvet),and pull them back up when they get too cold....Awesome!.A word of warning mind,if you are planning on using this bag on a hot night (do we have those in the UK?) this bag will probably be a bit overkill,as it is so warm, but,on a hot night, you could always just sleep with all the zips undone, and roll around to you hearts content!.By the way, this is really not designed for a lightweight backpacking trip!.It is a massive bag, even when in the supplied carry bag.Love it!.

I'm 6'6" tall and although I love camping, I never enjoyed the sleepless nights spent struggling to get comfortable in a sleeping bag that was never quite big enough - so when I saw this online, I thought I'd give it a go. A fella my size needs a big bag and for the first time since I was a kid, I had plenty of space to move and feel comfortable and I had a pretty good night's sleep. I've given it four stars because it's probably too BIG - so big that when I went camping with a couple of mates, they took a picture of one of them standing next to it because it was comically huge. I'm guessing it's designed for much more generously proportioned folk than me but that does mean that although you get loads of room to stretch out,it's a lot bigger than you might expect when it's packed up and you'll need to make sure you have the space in the boot - definitely not a hiking bag. Also my first night sleeping out in it in May it got down to about 2 degrees C and it didn't quite feel like the level of performance you might expect for a -13 sleeping bag. Still a good buy at a relatively budget price. Now all I need is an extra long lilo and sleep mat

Just what I’ve been looking for, a sleeping bag that allows for tall people plus side sleepers.I’ve always hated mummy bags as they don’t feel right trying to sleep on your side. Also as a bigger proportioned woman I can’t move in them.Whereas, rectangle bags allow for movement and aren’t restricted, which is so pleasant. But there’s the issue of this huge gaping open hole at the top. This sleeping bag addresses all the issues and imitations of both. It gives me (182cms) room to lay on my side and role comfortably to the other. In fact after doing it up I’m swimming in it, it’s so wonderful.Oh and the feet end there’s like this cozy blanket. So no cold feet.Just be aware it’s not a backpacking bag!!It is big, even rolled up.If you can live with it’s big rolled size it’s amazing, especially if you are bigger of stature/proportions.

Ok,this is certainly not a lightweight bag and is perhaps a little bulky even when compressed in a sturdy military compression sack, however it is very robust and very well made with strong and easy running zippers. It is also huge and cosy with a snug foot box and a nicely designed hood that ensures warm ears even when the weather is at its ‘British Most unpleasant’.I am 6’2” and 19st and I had room to spare and then some, the temperature outside my tent was -8c and it wasn’t very much warmer inside, but inside this bag with my thermal underwear and a pair of socks I was as warm as toast all night.I combined the bag with my hiking self inflating sleep pad and reflective roll mat to act as a thermaltransference barrier.Best sleep system I have ever used, even though a tad weighty.FANTASTIC BAG AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Its a huge sleeping bag , great for those that like their leg space and dont want to feel like they are confined .I didnt like the mummy sleeping bags , which are way smaller but i could barely fit inside them. I tested it out twice now (once during a storm) and it was so warm in the cold weather . Its fairly bulky and i had to buy a 75l+ dry sack to put over it as the sack it came in isnt 100% waterproof as the opening doesnt close fully . If you look at the picture , youre looking at the sleeping bag on a 85l rucksack (with the dry sack i bought) so you get the idea of just how big it is . Because of its size im not so sure it would do for the bushcrafters/survivalists out there who like to travel light ,but id recommend it for for a 2 day hike or camping trips .

I'm an avid festival goer but the British weather can make for a less than warm and cosy nights sleep. I purchased this for Drownload 2019 and I was absolutely blown away by this sleeping bag. I usually hate sleeping bags because I move about a lot in my sleep and invariably wake up with my sleeping bag knotted around me. This sleeping bag is so spacious and warm that I had no trouble getting warm and comfortable and staying that way during the *ahem* glorious British summertime. The only downside is that its quite bulky even when it's packed down in its bag so it might not be as great if you're travelling by train or bus to a festival.Overall, this was a great investment and for less than £50 it's an absolute bargain!

If like me you hate been restricted inside sleepping bags this could be the one for you. Im not a huge chap my any means but I hate that restricted trussed up feeling you get with modern bags. There is plenty of room to move about in this bag, and it is very warm, so more suited to winter and spring use, it may be too warm during the summer months. It has a handy pocket inside for you to stash your valuables, and over all is made to colemans usual high standards. The only downside is its packed size! It is huge compared to most bags so is definately not suited for backpackers and motorcyclists, if however you have plenty of space while travelling, this is well worth getting!

I bought this to replace my old goose down mummy bag. I'm 5'11" and 110 kg, this bag is a loose fit, I can even roll over inside it without ending up trapped like happened with the mummy. Last weekend it dropped to -3, in a canvas tent, I was snug, more so than I have been the last couple of years in sub zero conditions. I usually use a silk bag liner as an extra layer so the comparison is balanced. The bag is bulky and doesn't compress when rolled (it's as big as a 45 litre day pack), also weighs about 4kg so I wouldn't recommend for back packing. All said, great bag for what I need.

Received the sleeping bag very quickly indeed, as a gentleman of large build should I say it was good to find a bag that would suit my needs, I had done a fair bit of research into bags for the more discerning person and found this to be the most favourable in its class, I was not disappointed, it is very roomy and appears to be very warm I will know more this weekend when I get to use it. So far though I and very happy. I am approx 6'3" tall and come in at around 21st and there is more than enough room in this for me, I can even roll around and sleep on my side which is a bonus.

I’m over 6 foot 1 and weigh more than 20 stone (diet in progress) and hate mummy sleeping bags. They dont fit properly on me and are very restrictive. They zip usually doesnt do up so you end up with a cold uncomfortable sleep. This sleeping bag cures all those issues. I had a look on some of the you tube reviews of the product first. But this is an excellent sleeping bag. A bit like sleeping under a duvet in a single bed. Would happily let a house guest use it if it eas ever required. Liked it so much, i bought another!

This is the best sleeping bag I have ever used. Totally snug during a week long job in an unheated house in February. Woke up toasty with and comfortable, perhaps even a little too warm for summer use. The bag is big and heavy but is designed for use outdoors in many climates. Not doable for back packing due to size and weight, but if close to your car: ideal. Size wise: I'm 6ft with a 52" chest and I had room to roll around inside and length to spare- bigger than a UK single bed and easy more comfortable.

As an XL kind of gentleman, this is the sleeping bag I’ve needed to buy myself. A lifetime of broken and uncomfortable bags, the space this one offers is great. My only issue is the lining. While it had fabric at the feet, it has a lining similar to the outside on much of the inside. It means even a little sweat doesn’t get absorbed but wets the inside in a gross way. When used in all but the coldest environments I’ve taken to leaving it open a little to stop this, which defeats the point of the bag.

All sleeping bags that I have owned drop over time in regards to their warmth performance so I bought this one thinking to start off with something probably warmer than I needed. So far used twice down to 5C and have been totally comfortable. Actually needed to open up the side a little to release heat so plenty in reserve. I like a spacious bag and this product is certainly that for my 6 foot 15stone frame. The only downside is the bulk and weight but that de[ends how you're travelling.
