My daughter loves to bake and so I bought this the Circulon Bakeware Springform Cake Tin, 9 Inchand the Circulon Bakeware Loose Base Round Cake Tin, 8 Inches. And I'm so glad I did because the quality is second to none!! Superb, seriously couldn't have asked for more....I'd been searching for really good quality, but also, affordable and these fit the bill in both aspects.Like with everything, you need to look after these. So, when using, line with parchment paper; even though it's non-stick it's always better to insure 100% that your bake does not end up sticking and there after breaking when removing. This is true of every make, no matter what. And never use abrasive utensils on it.But you shouldn't have the need to.Cleaning these is so simple, especially having lined with parchment paper, just use warm soapy water and then thoroughly dry straight after.I must confess the springform can be a little fiddly but between my teenage daughter and myself, only I've experienced this and then only the once. And we've between us baked a great deal using these. They are of a nice, good weight ( you can feel the wonderful quality ) and the springform means you can remove your baked cake\ cheesecake etc; so simply and without damaging the cake!!Well worth the money ( especially as I bought them in Dec 2011 at fantastic prices of only £9.67 and the Circulon Bakeware Loose Base Round Cake Tin, 8 Inches at £7.67 ) and made the perfect gift for my daughter!!! Considering John Lewis was selling it for almost £15 and £12 respectively. To date they have served us brilliantly and we've no complaints what-so-ever. These will last and last most definitely.Thoroughly recommend!!

I don't make bread but there are plenty of reviews here about that.I have used non-stick loaf tins for many years to make cottage pie for my husband. Whatever the make, from day one without exception, they needed to be soaked after use and the linings were stained. And they all, within a short space of time, ended up with a damaged non-stick surface. As only half is served at one sitting and the other half re-heated for a meal later in the week I had assumed this re-heating to be the cause. Now, I've only used this Circulon tin for four meals so far but I don't think it is premature to tell you that its surface is amazing. After serving the first re-heated meal the tin went from incredibly hot to cold rapidly.I expected a need for soaking but, no, a wipe round was all it needed. The remaining food just slid off the surface. A quick wash in 'soapy' (Ecover, of course) water and it was done. Exactly the same the next time. It looks as though it has never been used.A few points to consider. It has to be dried immediately after washing but as it isn't completely sealed under the rim, just curled over, it's not that easy to remove all water so I suspect in time it may rust. I can confirm that its inner dimensions are 9 x 5 x 2.75 inches; its outer dimensions are 11.5 x 5.75 x <3 inches and it is heavy. I paid over eleven pounds for mine so snap it up now while Amazon is selling it for a couple of pounds cheaper.

I bought this recently (inexplicably it's gone up £1 since) not as a cake tin, but to make yorkshire pudding in.I've bought many non-stick tins over the years; some have retained their non-stick coating; others are as non-stick now as superglue. When this tin arrived it felt reassuringly solid and is also a good size for cakes, upside down puddings, etc.I gave this tin a quick rinse when I got it; left it to heat up in the oven with a teaspoon full of oil, then whipped up some batter for yorkshire puddings, expecting to do my usual trick with a fish slice 30 minutes later, and serve up half a yorkshire pudding in bits, with the other half stuck firmly to the pan.It was with some trepidation that I slid the plastic spatula under the yorkshire pudding but the whole pudding lifted straight out first time. Even for a first use, it was amazingly non-stick so I was duly impressed. To be fair, I have no idea how dishwasher safe it is as I never put non-stick bakeware through the dishwasher; if you want to try it, be my guest, but as there was literally not a crumb of food left in the pan, I simply wiped it out ready for next time.Extremely impressed so far; its solidity and ease of use belies the very reasonable price tag and I'll be buying more Circulon pans to see if they are as good.Highly recommended.

I have used Meyer-mad pans in the past but not their bakeware. This was my reintroduction to Meyer's products and purchased to replace a similarly priced springform cake tin purchased from a specialist high-street chain. That pan is thin, flexible and very light, qualities that I cannot use for the Circulon. It is substantial and has enough bulk to transfer heat effectively to the cake within. The results do seem to bear out initial impressions. The cakes are easy to get out and cleaning is a breeze too; a sponge and soapy water is all that I have needed to use. More expensive than some of the other alternatives, but definitely worth the extra. I have sufficient pans for my present needs, but when \i need to replace them, it is likely to be Circulon that I will be buying.Recommended!UPDATE @ 4-2012After many uses, I am beginning to see a few dribbles of mixture escaping from around the sides. However, after a few minutes, 3-5 typically but dependant upon temperature, the drips stop once the cake begins to cook and the mixture starts to set. The loss is equivalent to about 1/2 tablespoon at the most and is therefore insignificant. If base-lined, the dribbles are fewer and smaller!

This cake tin is great for making cakes easily with minimum fuss. The nine inch spring form cake tin features a sprung side-wall and detachable base, whilst the non-stick aluminium construction really does work excellently, meaning that the cake comes away nicely from the sides and the base. Given that with this cake tin, as with many others, the base has a lip around the outside of it which fits into the side wall, which has the potential to make it very difficult to get the cake out of the base. With the Circulon non-stick system, the cake easy comes away with no levering required with knifes or spatulas as with other non-stick cake tins.So far, nothing to complain about. The non-stick element doesn't appear to be a coating as such, but embedded throughout the material, so no worries about being ultra delicate with it. Keep the oven under 240 degrees or so and everything should be fine. Finally, whilst not recomended, I have put the cake tin in the dishwasher a few times with no ill effects, but to be honest, they are so easy to clean - just wipe them with hot soapy water - that this probably won't be tested too often.

I purchased this loaf pan as I couldn't find any another 9x5 inch (23) loaf pans here in Germany. All the loaf pans here are much bigger (30 to 35 cm) and my mum used to buy only the Kaiser bakeware that I always believed to be superior to this relatively cheap loaf pan.But I must admit I was wrong. When I first held it in my hands the Circulon loaf pan made a very "heavy" impression. I have no idea what it's made out of but it gives a rather solid impression, finely coated with some sort of non-stick coating. Yet I use to grease and flour all bakeware I find this a very remarkable loaf tin as I made a lemon syrup sponge which is pretty sticky but came out perfect and even had a nice print from the Circulon rings on top.It was easy to clean and I am really happy to have bought such a good product for such a small price.I think the only reason I'm so excited about this product is because I made that lemon syrup cake with a Kaiser La Forme Plus loaf pan for around 35 Euros and had to pull/shake out the cake in crumbs. In conclusion a highly recommendable loaf pan for little money!

I've just recently tried my hand at black forest gateaux for my partner's birthday and I'm very happy with the results - in the taste and look of the cake and of course this cake tin ;-)Having to line the tin isn't a problem because I think most people tend to do this anyway, even if it does say it's non stick. The cake cooked evenly and came out the tin with no problems at all and because it had been lined, the tin itself apart from a thin layer of "grease" was virtually spotless making it super easy to clean. One thing I didn't notice however and it's my own stupid fault (!) was the little bit of plastic which must have been around the spring to stop it being scratched during transport (even having washed it first I failed to spot it!).As I didn't see it, I left it still attached to the tin whilst in the oven resulting in a melted plastic blob being stuck to my drip tray! It came off fine though, phew!Since buying my Circulon pots and now this, I think I'll eventually replace all my cookware with the Circulon brand.

This tin is great for all baking needs. The non-stick aluminium construction really does work excellently, meaning that nothing being baked gets stuck (much) to the tray, making both use and cleaning simple and easy. The handles at the side are somewhat useful to allow you to more easily pick up the tin. They lie fairly flat, making for easier storage. Buy more than one and they stack together exceedingly well, which is useful given how slipperly the non-stick is.So far, nothing to complain about. The non-stick element doesn't appear to be a coating as such, but embedded throughout the material, so no worries about being ultra delicate with it. Keep the oven under 240 degrees or so (a 300 degree grill will cause damage)and everything should be fine. Finally, whilst not recomended, I have put these in the dishwasher a few times with no ill effects, but to be honest, they are so easy to clean - just wipe them with hot soapy water - that this probably won't be tested too often.

What can I say, made a sticky loaf in this tin and it just slid right out without even having to tap it and it was evenly baked. There was no buckling either, in fact this product seems so sturdy I doubt it will ever buckle, or at least not for many many years. I would definitely recommend this product and the brand overall as I have bought other bakeware items which are equally as good.It would have been helpful if the description confirmed that it was 2lb loaf tin, as a lot of recipes seem to state that you need a 1lb or 2lb loaf tin and being a bit of a novice baker, I couldn't tell from the measurements. I can confirm that this product is definitely suitable for 2lb.

I received delivery of two of these cake tins last week. At the weekend, I baked six fruitcakes in them. I only greased the tins, did not double line as suggested in the recipe book and the cakes all came out perfect!Really impressed with these. They seem to be really robust and feel like they will last ages.I did find my first go did leak ever so slightly, but I persisted and got the hang of ensuring that the bottom was in the lip securely and have had no further problems. The side came away from the cake like a dream with no damage and the bottom was the same.I can highly recommend these cake tins and I will certainly be buying the same type in different sizes.

This loaf pan has the best non stick coating I have ever owned. It makes prying your loaf of bread out at the end of baking a pleasure rather than a job your spatula dreads! It gives a lovely crisp crust to every loaf. The handles make it easy to lift out of the oven. Very easily cleaned up after use, a sponge and some hot suds and its done. What more can you ask?The only negative I could find is its maybe slightly on the smaller side for a 2lb loaf tin. But maybe I was spoilt by other larger tins out there. You soon get used to the size and actually for a loaf of bread it gives a great rounded shape and size.Buy one - you will not regret it.

I got this at a reduced rate, so it was one of the cheapest on Amazon at the time. Despite this, I would happily pay full price for the tin.I've used this several times now for chocolate brownies and a simple victoria sponge. In both cases I have had no issues with sticking and the tin can simply be wiped clean. The tin seems durable, although as I have only had the product for a couple of weeks I cannot shed any light on the manufacturer's claim that it will out-last any other non-stick equipment.Great value and a must-have addition to any kitchen cupboard.

Buy one, it will last you so well compared to other lesser brands, it's weighty & great for an even baked loaf, will take high temperature without problem, superb for encouraging children or poor performers in the kitchen to overcome their worries, I try to teach my own daughter (now 8) to cook & bake with this brand of pans & bake-ware based on many successful kitchen forays. The decent layer of non-stick outstrips anything else we've ever used.Easily cleaned as when it is turned out, ..mess is minimal & the baking retains it's loaf pan shape!perfect!

I was in much deliberation when buying a Springform tin as there are so many to choose from. I own other products by Circulon so I always new it was going to be good but I really cannot fault it. It's well made, a good size, not terribly expensive, easy to clean and the non-stick works brilliantly (unlike some cheap non-stick products). I can't stress enough how much I recommend spending the extra few pounds to buy this one rather than one of the cheaper tins available. It really is worth the extra money.

After frustrations with trying to get bread out those silver coloured tins I ended up lining each time with baking parchment. The first time I used the Circular Loaf Tin I forgot to wipe it with oil. Baked the bread and turned it over - it just fell out without - no skating or loosening with a knife. Have now used many times with all sorts of loaves, including sticky ciabatta with the same success. As nothing sticks it just wipes clean with soapy water which is useful as it is not dishwasher safe.
