This was the first purchase I made to change out something on my bike by myself. I was suspicious about the cork tape and the price was much cheaper than a lot of other types and brands so I was skeptical but gave it a try anyway. I have a red and white Trek road bike and even though this tape isn't bright red like the bike, wow what a difference it has made to the looks! It changed the whole look of the bike, I love it and have gotten so many compliments on the bar tape. I had no idea where to start to take of the dingy white foam tape that came on it, but YouTube made this upgrade so simple. Took me about maybe 15-20 minutes from start to finish and people ask me all the time where I had it done and how much it cost to have it installed (as if it looks like a pro did it).

Nice handle bar tape that comes with handle bar plugs and some "electrical tape" to fix the tape.The feel of the tape is nice and I had no problem assembling it and this was my first time attempting it - first time lucky ;].The tape has a little adhesive strip on the back, but its not that sticky that if you went wrong that you can't go back and unwrap it again.Only downside was the length and the stickiness of the "electrical tape" to fix the ends... it comes of easily, so I used "bog standard" electrical tape and it works a treat.I used the directions from this video to wrap the handle bar tape:[..]

First time of changing out my bar tape and this package had everything needed for the job, inc. two short pieces of cork ribbon for placing around the back of the brake lever sleeves, and branded electric tape, which don't always seem to be included with alternative products.The tape itself is good quality - the self adhesive strip on the back helps with holding the tape in place as you bind it to the bar and has provided a decent level of comfort on my subsequent rides out. I'd be happy to buy this product again next time the tape needs replacing. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase!

This is the epitome of bar tape. Perfect all the way around. Super comfortable and looks great. Package comes with everything you need to install and even comes with a neat sticker. This is absolutely worth the money, will definitely be buying this again. But as is the case with all bar tape, you should definitely know what your doing when installing it, it’s very easy to mess up and one error can lead to it looking very clumsy or uncomfortable. If you’re not comfortable in your ability to wrap it yourself, it is %100 worth it to give to a friend or bike shop to do it for you.

The tape was easy to wrap and seems comfortable. I used it on drop bars of an old steel Univega Gran Turismo over Planet Bike gel pads, and there was plenty of tape for coverage. My major complaint is that the color of the Celeste Green tape is very different than in the photo on the Amazon site. I really wanted that medium seafoam green-looking color, but this is way lighter and not so pleasing. Why can't they get the color right? Also, the black end tape keeps coming unstuck, which is annoying. I'll take that off and use something more permanent.

I recently had my bars wrapped at my local shop with a cheapo bar wrap which actually made my hands go numb due to the super thin material. I knew I wanted to replace the terrible tape with something that offered more cushion, but didn't cost $40+. After some research online I decided to go with this tape and I was super impressed. The color was vibrant, it was easy to install, durable and most importantly my hands were oh so comfortable even during a 150 mile ride the following weekend. Will definitely continue to use this tape in the future.

I'm not a pro at bartape by any means, so it was really important that this stuff was easy to wrap, and be a little forgiving of errors. This stuff actually unwraps and re-sticks quite nicely, and is super durable (didn't snap on me once). It has good grip out on the roads, whether you wear gloves or not, and it has a real nice look to it (I bought the plain black); way better than the cheaper-looking stuff that came on my bike to begin with. I would definitely buy this again, though in a different color next time (for a bolder look)

I was surprised how much the cork was able to stretch when mounting the tape. It’s also quite spongy, and feels velvety soft to the hands. I’m not sure what it will look like after a year, but right now it looks great! The box came with everything needed to do the job. The black tape supplied to seal the ends was also stretchy, but wasn’t very forgiving when I made an error and had to re-tape it. (The tape lost its stickiness when reused. I ended up using electrical tape instead. Looks fine though.)

I bought this because i wanted a cheap 1st layer for a double wrap but it was a nice little kit for the price. It’s nice and thick with the perfect amount of stretch (more than I can say for the supercaz than went on top of it) and it wrapped super easily. It looked good and felt good and I had a need for a single wrap I would not hesitate to use this. Can’t comment on the durability but it was inexpensive so even if I had to wrap more often I wouldn’t mind. I will buy again.

Bar tape installation is something every cyclist should learn how to do CORRECT. This is great quality bar tape that is cheap, looks clean and works great. Don't forget to use some electrical tape to wrap any cables down to the bars before wrapping the handlebar tape. Also, the bar tape comes with cool cinelli tape to wrap and finish the handlebar wrapping, its cool but doesn't stick that well on its own. I'd recommend finishing the wrap with some electrical tape instead.

I would like to thank the internet, specifically the 5 how-to videos I watched on wrapping bar tape. Color is true, padding is sufficient, and tape has a good adhesive.I thought that the black tape used for securing the bar at the top of the wrap was ugly and not very sticky. Used electric tape instead. Would be nice if the bar tape was a bit longer.Overall good for my purposes but will probably level up to something fancier next time I tape my bars.

Got the product and watched a couple YouTube Videos on how to properly wrap the bars. The product is strong enough to put a nice tight wrap. There is plenty of length for almost any drop bar I would thing. I had nearly 10" left over. The provide some nice finishing tapes. I do wish I'd have opted to get metal, screw style plugs. The tape, looks good. I'm very happy with the quality. I've very pleased with my purchase. We'll see how it holds up over time.

Really nice, it is the brand name for a reason. Just did two drop handle bars with these, and the tape went on without a problem and is comfortable and seems durable. . One set of drops I replaced White Cinelli tape that was 5 years old, it held up much better than the Planet Bike Brand tape I am replacing on the other drops.PS I used electrical tape instead of the Cinelli supplied finishing tape, I think it may last longer.

If you want a classic feel to your handlebars then this is the tape for you. On the reverse side is a sticky stripe running down the centre to ensure that the tape doesn't slip even if abused. I haven't had a crash yet so I couldn't commment on whether it would rip in those circumstances, though I can say that I keep the bike covered when not in use and it survived the big freeze this winter.

This Cinelli cork handlebar tape has become my reliable go-to for whenever I get a new bike, or need to wrap my bars. I've had this tape last beyond 4 years and 10,000 mostly outdoor miles looking and feeling practically new. It goes on without a fuss, and if you're careful it can be used a couple times over if you swap bars or need to re-cable. For the price, it can't be beat, in my opinion.
