This is the best balance bike we have found and the price cannot be beaten, it was clearly designed and produced by a bike manufacturer for chicco. It is very lightweight (important for confidence in the beginning and for tricks later) since it is not made of steal (like most of the others) and all the parts are sized down. We have had one for 2 years now and another one for 1 year, they are used everyday, indoor and outdoor, with mud, gravel, rain, sand, the wheels still turn perfectly (the bearings are very good) and you can still see the pattern on the EVA tire (this was the main concern regarding durability). The paint is only chipped in one place on the older bike (probably from the bikes hitting each other on the almost daily car trips). The seat is confortable (not like some plastic ones of others), the handlebar being higher gave our then almost 3 year old the most comfortable riding position of the bikes we tried, and the grips are soft. The bikes are now used by a almost 5 year old and a tall 3 year old, there is a "safety" recommendation that will you will have to ignore on the seat, we did for almost a year with the oldest and nothing bad happened, and she jumps, goes down curbs and plays in the skate park with it. What we have now is the strider long seatpost, that I recommend for 4 year olds. The handlebar can actually be adjusted to one of the highest positions you will find with 10" and 12" balance bikes (we have checked everywhere because we are looking for a bigger bike with pneumatic tires, and only the 14" ones are taller). The only problem we have is that they refuse to ride pedal bikes, since these are much heavier, they pedal very well on their tricycles but refuse to pedal on the 10" and 14" pedal bicycles they have (much more difficult to control and keep balanced). But they have a lot of fun on the balance bikes, including in terrains I am sure they wouldn't be able to pedal on, and we have to run to keep up with their speed, so for now I don't think they are missing anything.

Just bought this for our younger child after our 3 year old had the red version. We did a lot of looking around at balance bikes, you can pay a lot for them or not very much, some are plastic, some metal, some have brakes some don't. In order to educate myself we went to Halfords but there was little interest shown by the staff in helping so we made our own judgments and are very happy we bought this one as it provides you with the right features for a toddler getting their balance without anything unnecessary. It's easy to put together and for the price the build quality and finish is impressive, it's metal but not heavy, the tyres are not pneumatic but aren't hard plastic and work well, there is also a low rolling resistance which would suggest decent bearings on the wheels. Opinion of course is subjective but for our 2yo starting out this is a great quality bike that gives you what you need but nothing unnecessary and after lots of research we're very happy with our purchase

Perfect starter bike for a little one. If you are dubious about getting one don’t be. For the price we thought we’d give it a go and within a couple of days our 4 year old is going down little hills with her feet in the air. It’s perfect for getting them off to a good start and will hopefully make the transition to a pedal bike easier so we won’t need annoying stabilisers either for long or at all! It’s light enough to carry if she gets tired. Good build quality and looks “cool”.Well recommended. (I also recommend a helmet and pads though... the more confident she has become the more adventurous and daring she has got ???‍♂️??‍♂️).UPDATE - 25/05/2020 My little one has just progressed to a pedal bike as she now outgrown the balance bike. She is now riding without stabilisers I’m just a day! and without a doubt using this balance bike helped her achieve this milestone. 7 months on and could not be happier

i was skeptical about buying a balance bike as I thought they were a bit pointless but my daughter loves it and I struggle to keep up with her (she is 3). She can easily keep up with her 6 year old who rides a proper bike without stabilizers. She lifts both feet off the ground and zips along on it and so has really built up her ability to balance on it so hoping this will make the transition to a bike with no stabilizer a much easier and less stressful process for her.She some, times complains after a long ride (around an hour or two) that her bum hurts but this doesn't stop her wanting to get back on it. She has crashed and fell off a few times and sometimes leaves it out in the garden in the rain but it has stood up to it all and has been a great buy.I would definitely recommend it and would buy another if the need arose.

Such a great bike, hours of fun, and seems very well-made and stable. It is a lovely colour, not too bright. My daughter only just turned two years old, and isn’t yet able to balance, but I’m sure in a couple of months she will get a lot of fun out of this. We have one for my older son, and he loves it! Very easy to put together, all tools supplied, the only thing I would say is that the tires are plastic and do get a lot of wear so not sure what they will look like in a couple of years time. However excellent value, highly recommend, children learn to balance without having to concentrate on pedals!

Nice little bike. Easy to assemble. Lightweight. The description said this bike is for 3-5 years. Our little girl is 3, she’s average height, the bike is an ideal size for her. I can’t imagine it will still be suitable for her when she gets to be 5 though. However once she gets to 5 she’ll probably need a bike with pedals and so won’t need a balance bike. I’d say the bike is suitable for children 3-4 years unless you have an older child that is short for their age

My son hasn’t been on it yet as it’s for his birthday in February but I built it to see how it was it’s it look good only thing is it’s not the same as the pictures it’s not metallic red it’s just red and the stickers aren’t the same either but not a deal breaker but it was actually the colour in the picture that made me pick this one so a little disappointed in that. The hand bars and seat look comfy enough too the seat has some padding in it which is great! Hi

I haven’t ridden this (as I’m too big) but judging by the joy on my 3.5yr old daughters face I wish I could get on it. It’s ace, robust, lightweight and has no extras to worry about. Hard types = no punctures!! Slow to start but after a few weeks and reminders to use your feet (brakes) and look up, it’s a great bike for learning. Good price too compared to other brands at over double the cost. Don’t forget your matching helmet!

This is a great balance bike, my daughter loves it. It’s amazingly light weight and really good value. The only thing is it states for 2-5 years, my daughter has just turned 5 and is 109cm, so average height and it was to small. So I would say it’s good for 2-4 years instead. Despite this she still rides it everyday and it’s been brilliant. I would definitely recommend this bike.

Brought for my daughter who’s nearly 3. I was worried about the seat hight as had read mixed reviews on here however it’s perfect. She’s a small girl so we have it as low as it’ll go. Easy to put together and arrived a day earlier too. She loves the bike (and the helmet we brought too). She hasn’t mastered how to ride it yet but is always on it. For sure a good purchase.

We had chicco red bullet before for our son years ago. This one seems to be the less sturdy than the old one. But daughter didn't use it much till now because she was a bit too small. We'll see soon how sturdy this one be.. For sure both have very thin coat of paint, every scratch is visible. I love it because it's really light. Highly recommended.

Loved this bike when I bought it 2 years ago for my now 4 year old. So much so that when my youngest turned 2 I bought her the exact same bike. It’s great, really lightweight and easy to manover. It’s really easy to assemble and both girls managed to figure it out really quick. Would definitely recommend and excellent value for money.

Perfect for my 3 year old she has hypermobility in her legs and hips and struggles to walk for long periods of time, her legs get easily tired and start to hurt when walking or riding a scooter I thought I'd try this to strengthen her muscles and giving her the support with the seat and it's worked she loves it, hope this is helpful '

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to write one for this bike. It’s excellent! My daughter started to use it when she turned 2, she is now 2.5 and we are about to get for her a pedal bike! She is ready! Super stable, drives dangerously fast! And only fall very few times. This bike is super light and very comfortable for her.

Got this for my 2yr old.Dispatched & arrived on time.Easily assembled. It takes about 5 minutes & the only tool needed is a spanner and it comes along with the bike. There's good adjustment in the seat & handle bars so most should get a bit of time out of the bike.So far it looks to be of a good quality & happy to recommend.
