I went with the Cavalry 15x70 over the Skymaster ones due to the waterproof design but otherwise I would expect the two to perform more-or-less the same. I'll be using these as multi-purpose binos for star gazing, terrestrial viewing and as a simple spotting scope at the range.My first impressions are mostly positive. The magnification is plenty for my purpose but hand-holding these is very challenging. Once I put them on my tripot that was no longer an issue. A mono-pod also works very well. The image is very clear especially considering the price. The eye cups are gigantic when extended and I essentially don't use them. Eye relieve is not quite enough for me for use with my glasses but doable.The two major cons I ran into are:1.

I love the outdoors and have had many sets of binoculars. I am a boater and a target shooter. Over the years I cannot even calculate the amount of money I have spent on numerous pairs. After this purchase that has ended, this will be my last pair. I made this purchase on a friends recommendation.To start the optics are clear and crisp. As a shooter I have used Nikon and Leupold for spotting scopes and binoculars. I am used to very clear optics. The Cavalry is right there! I was amazed at the clarity. I was out yesterday on the range and clearly could see my grouping at 200 yards without issue. The included tripod accessory made the use of the binoculars easy and versatile for my purpose.

Great Buy for the money,optics are clear, adjustments work well, rubber is good quality, strap is average or better,front lens covers are good, rear is one piece, satisfactory,one good feature is instead of the typical extended rubber eyepiecesthis model has screw out-in eyepieces to adjust for glasses, they work well,the only downside to me is the mechanical design of the adjustment seems a little unstable to me,the eyepiece assembly that moves in and out to adjust for focus does not seem to be precisely engineered,but nevertheless the function of the glasses doesn't seem to be an issue,this is about as large a set of binoculars as you would want to carry,but for serious viewing large objectives for light gathering and x10 (or better)

Excellent set of binocular. Also bought an Amazon 60" tripod as these are a much bigger pair of binoculars and I use them for ocean viewing from our beach balcony condo. The binoculars come with a tripod adapter bracket but it is plastic so I ordered the accessory one which is metal and is made by Ceslestron. I'm sure the included plastic one would be fine bit for a few bucks more, it's worth it. All in all, I am very happy with these binoculars.

I work on really big construction sites with 1/4 mike to 3/4 miles in between personnel at times and I have to walk a lot and communicate with 3 or 4 different teams all day as a middle man. When things change and communication in the wilderness becomes a problem, these Binos help me observe the change and communicate it. Great glass. Similar in quality to the 500 dollar binos I used for machine gunning at distance in the army.

For the price it is a great pair of binoculars. Mine seem to have close enough collimation though the prisms are not properly aligned so I can see the corners by looking at the exit pupil. They are heavy though quite hard to hand hold for long periods of time, I also recommend buying a sturdy tripod.Overall I'm happy with my purchase, I wish there was better QC and assembly at the factory in China.

With fully multicoated optics, BaK-4 prisms and ED glass objectives, it's a steal! Color rendition and sharpness are both beyond expectations. This is my second pair (a 'friend' borrowed my original and never returned 'em). Now I'm back in business! I recommend these for astronomy as well as general nature study at a reasonable price.

These were just what I wanted. They are tripod mounted and used to scan the hills and mountains. The optics are sharp enough, especially given the cost. Sharp images mean less eye fatigue, so these can be used for long periods. We'll try them on the night sky, once the snow clears, both from the sky and from the ground.

Great glasses... They do what they are supposed to do.Delivery timely!We are staying in a coastal hotel on Vancouver Island until our home is ready, and now we can see the constant changes each day brings...

The Celestron 10x50 Cavalry binoculars work great. The view is very clear and bright. Looking forward to using them at night. The build quality seems very good. I’m very happy with them.

Good Optics for a reasonable price, no problems adjusting for left and right eye. Exceeded my expectations considering the budget price I have paid a lot more for less performance.

Amazing. Very clear, bright and powerful. Used them moose hunting. I saw sheep way up on the mtn that were just a white specks without the binoculars.

Binos arrives early and collimation was pretty good.The views are so much brighter than smaller 10x50's and not too heavy either.

Large & bulky, but that was expected. Required bracing for a good look. Excellent optics which is what I wanted.

In combination with a recently purchased pistol grip tripod, it has provided excellent viewing / stargazing.
