I bought this item to help me practise the tenor lines of choral pieces at home. It does this fine, though I have to play the tenor line up an octave as the range of notes is limited (for the same reason, I can't play all four choral parts at once, but I rarely need to). The sound quality is fine for me. The keyboard doesn't come with a mains adaptor but I was able to source one easily enough from a different, well-known online retailer. The keys are perfectly big enough for my less than slender fingers.

I needed a keyboard to help me learn my singing parts for the choir. This keyboard has just the right range of notes for my voice (soprano) - from low F to top C. Its light and easy to carry. I read some reviews before I bought it and some people were put off by the lack of mains power adaptor. However it works fine on batteries and its one less thing to carry. I found the mini keys quite comfortable once I got used to them. It doesn't have a music stand but that's the only thing missing for me.

I bought this keyboard for something I could carry around easily in a rucksack, for messing around with and playing/composing at home with limited space. In essence it's a kids keyboard but there are actually quite a lot of interesting sounds on here. It's a shame there is no 'octave' selection, so you are stuck with the range of keys provided, but some sounds are high, some low, etc. There are a wide range of cheesy/ridiculous/good drum rhythms. Overall I've had a lot of fun with this.

I used to have a larger keyboard, full size keys on a stand but I sold it. I found myself later on wanting another keyboard. This keyboard has all the functions of some of the larger keyboards in a compact and portable size. 100 different sounds and and some drums beats. I plug it into my computer using the headphone slot and use it to record my jingles and tunes. Very Good Buy, worth the money. Would recommend getting a power supply or some rechargeable batteries for it however.

One of the best picks of presents. My daughter specifically asked for a piano and at her age this product was perfect. She loved it and so did my boy. Now both of them keep practicing different tunes and keep themselves and us entertained. Even the rest of the family had a go on this and it's simply fantastic. Easy to carry anywhere. I keep it in my car on the go and children enjoy during a ride too.Superb quality and colour. May be we could have more choice of colours.

This is good quality, the lime colour looks lovely, it’s easy to use, great sound, keeps my 6 year old occupied....it’s an ideal size & weight for little hands, it’s worth paying the money compared to toy keyboards! Very pleased with it-the only thing I would say is that it’s disappointing it doesn’t come with a power pack/plug, you can buy them seperate but ideally I think it should come with the keyboard, otherwise I’m happy with this & I would definitely recommend.

I'm a grown up using a kid's keyboard here. I've joined a choir and wanted to be able to pick out the tunes for practice at home. I don't read music but I'm using the keyboard to try to learn a little. The sound is great and it's really well made yet small and light. I can't comment on all the effects as I'm not using them. Batteries lasting well so far, probably as there's an auto switch off if you don't use it for a couple of minutes. Great buy for the money.

This is only a mini keyboard so only enough octaves to play right hand only. So I’m impressed by how many other features there are such as rhythms and drums. Advertised as a keyboard for very young children to set them on a path to being a concert pianist! Very much so, but also brilliant for all ages. I bought this as a surprise present for my 14 year old and she has enjoyed playing it. I’ve had a go myself playing along with the built in tunes. Great fun.

I bought this for my 5 yr old. She really enjoys playing it. The sound quality is brill. For the price I paid I would of expected to have come with a plug instead of having to buy my own which ive not had chance to do. Depending on the use I wouldnt buy cheap batterys as they wont last long. I was suprised at the size of the keyboard as I thought it would be bigger but on the positive side it fits perfectly on her little table.

Casio keyboard very nice for child. However, does not come with power adaptor which will be extra cost. Unless you are happy to regularly change batteries. I purchased a universal adaptor from Argos for this keyboard, it did not work. Upon returning it I could only get a credit note as the 28days had expired (post Christmas) Still like the keyboard after purchasing a power adaptor elsewhere. ARGOS did not sell the correct one.

This was purchased for my 10 year old's Christmas present. Unfortunately it had to go back as only worked for an hour. However he loves the replacement and has played it for hours already so the battery life is good! Would be nice if the drum beat buttons would play rhythmically in the background instead of having to push them every time you want to hear one beat. Other than that a very good buy and perfect for a beginner.

My Dad is 93 yet figured it out very quickly. Despite shaky hands due to illness, he still managed to bang out his favourite tunes. The sound quality is amazing for something so small.BUT no plug! You have to pay at least 25% of the price again to get that, and that’s just not fair! It’s a very specific socket so you’re not going to have a spare. That’s wrong and that’s why it doesn't get the marks I’d like to give it.

I bought this keyboard to practice scales and chords whilst on holiday. It did the job and the cheesy effects were a load of fun when I got tired of playing guess-the-interval and the other practice routines.Due to its size, the keyboard is cramped for an adult male, but it certainly satisfied my need to make a noise whilst away from home.My partner says the headphone-only option is great too!A very useful tool.

Wanted a keyboard that was portable but not too small. Really I won't use all the extras like different keyboard sounds, rhythms etc. Shame there is no recording facility but it seems this is standard amongst small keyboards.Only complaint is there is no mains plug.... so you have to use batteries or buy your own mains plug - which is pretty silly in my opinion and I wouldn't know where to start looking for one!

Came across this keyboard when searching a gift for my daughter, she wanted a toy piano! The reviews were all very positive and I agree. This is great, this is much better. She loves pressing all the keys and discovering new sounds... or playing the various melodies. She is only 5 and over time she will play properly ...I hope. It would be perfect if there were more colour choices at this great price.
