There have been more than enough reviews so far and I don't have much to add. My point of view is the accountant one - I've been using old calculators for work since 1994 and I'm a die hard fan of easy to press tactile keys. Most of the new calculators have that spongy feel of their keys where you never know if the strike registered or not so when I had to buy one I got stuck. Plenty of choice but most come sealed in blisters so testing and returning is not possible. I bought another Casio from a retail shop and whilst it was OK, I was still not fully happy with its keys. Then I requested this Casio model ordered for me at work but I received a slightly different model.I tested the keys and was happy enough to order this one. I wasn't disappointed! Keys are super responsive, not spongy and not wobbly! The display is large and the digits read clearly. There are two rubber feet at the bottom of the back but none at the top end - I find that a bit annoying as my desk is super slippery but I guess two small blue tack dots will do the job. There is also a handy extra stand at the back below the display which allows you to tilt the calculator even further.I've not tested the functions yet but I'm so happy with the clicky, tactile keys (including the back space one), that I'm going to be using this calculator with all the pleasure an accountant gets out of this :)

The dimensions are not as described. I make them 12.2cm wide x 17.4cm top to bottom. It's wider than an 8 digit calculator but I can still just about hold it in one hand while I type numbers in with the other. Also, it's not silver. As seen in the picture - it's mainly blue.Otherwise, it does everything it says on the tin. It's a calculator! The digits are clear to read. I'm glad they made the calculator wider rather than giving us tall thin numbers that are hard to read.I wonder why Casio insist on a "Euro" button rather than a "Currency" button. I got mine to translate into Swedish Krona. It does the job OK, but when I want SEK I know that I have to press Euro.It has non-slip feet at the front, but not at the back. Finally, there a little flap that folds out underneath that angles the keyboard towards you slightly. Good idea. Not sure if I'll use it yet.

Not directly related to the product itself, but I ordered this after 16:00 on a Friday as I wanted to do some work at home, and it arrived before lunch on Saturday. No great mysteries about this calculator. The display is large and clear, the buttons large, nicely spaced and a good responsive feel to them.By adjusting the "rate" for the Euro I could actually use this for an alternative currency (eg US Dollars). It has a feel of quality to it, and even has a flip-out foot on the underside to raise it and increase slightly the angle from the horizontal. It is a practical and useful desk-top calculator, I am pleased with the purchase.

This desk calculator is a good size and does all I need it to. It lost a star because the instructions that accompanied the device were woefully lacking. A quick search online gave me much of what I needed to get on with my book keeping but more still need to be fathomed. This should have been the case. A lot of printed paper arrived in the packaging but held nothing pertinent to the special functions it was capable of - the reason why I bought this machine. Time will tell whether it lives up to expectations or if it was worth the money - my last calculator lasted over 20 years, working flawlessly. This has a lot to live up to.

12 digits one, that I was after for AAT qualification study. In comparison with the Japanese destination market, I felt overall pricing dear & model somehow a kind of the previous generation...This time I have chosen this one because of the discounted model to save money. After opening the package first, the key typing noise a bit annoyed me and I felt worried it may not be suitable to an occasion of exam sitting. After adding some machine oil, I am not sure it right to do though, the problem all sorted out successfully. Large screen, good layout of keys and smart design. Note: If you need root function, it does not have it.

What can I say, it's a calculator, exactly like the one I ordered. It did take too long to get here though, about a week! I don't really understand why they don't put a square root button on all calculators, because I use that function all the time in my work, but I can't use the office calculator, because like this one, it doesn't have an S/R button.

This calculator does what it says on the tin with a dash of style. The big buttons and spacing make it easier to hit the correct numbers first time but on the occasion you enter the wrong number, you have the delete button. In summary, a great calculator which does what it says on the tin.

Bought as a replacement for a Casio I've had and used for many years. On the old one some keys a bit sticky, so needed to retotal sometimes.. This one has the same keyboard layout, although a bit smaller, so didn't have any problems using from the start. Good buy and price.

I work in a busy office and am very pleased my calculator. Easy to use keys and a good size to keep on your desk. The only problem - and that is my fault is that I keep forgetting to switch it on! So I go through a column of figuresand I have a blank at the end!

Not much to say about this calculator. It does the job very well. It's a nice sized desk calculator, the large keys and large 12 digit display are excellent and it's very easy to work with. So much easier than trying to use the calculator on my iPhone!

My old calculator which I have had for years was finally dying so I researched into buying a new one and must say I am absolutely delighted with this product. It does everything the old one did and more without being at all complicated.

A good basic calculator and I am very pleased with it. I only wish there was a basic instruction leaflet to cover the less common function function keys for people like me who are normally only do simple mathematical calculations.

Fits requirements for professional exams and for general use. Nice clear numbers, 12 digits, battery back up and all functions I need are there. Just a little too big. Would rather it be a bit more compact.

Nice calculator, positive keys, but larger than I am used to so I am finding it too cumbersome, my fault though, should have checked the size before I ordered it.

Bought this to replace another Casio I had used for years but which finally packed up on me.It's every bit as good and is very good value ay the price I paid.
