I've been looking for the right pair of jeans for a long time. My favorites for the past 5 years have been Prana Axioms, but those wear out quickly and they stopped making my favorite wash/color recently.These are not your old Carhartt jeans. The fit is very much like the Axioms, or maybe a pair of Levi 514s. Relaxed fit is a stretch here; they fit snug through the seat and thighs, and again snug at the calves for me, although I have very developed calves. They've skipped the triple-stitched seams.I have a pair of 1889 Series Carhartt jeans, those fit a little more traditionally (though they lack stretch) and have triple-stitched seams. Like a lot of people, I tend to fall in-between sizes. I tried on a pair these jeans with a 33-inch waist, but returned them for a pair with 34-inch waist. So, if you're a "tweener", too, opt for the larger waist size.I went with the 32-inch inseam, but I would have exchanged those jeans for a 31-inch inseam--but they don't make jeans with odd-numbered inseams. The 32-inch jeans need to be cuffed when I wear them, but I don't mind as I sort of like that look. However, all of my other pants with 32-inch inseams fit just fine. So, beware, these do run long.Other than the inseam length, I really like the feel of these jeans. And they're Carthartts, so they should last a long time. I used to buy Levi's,

I wear a 34x34 and these jeans fit true to size. These are hands down the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever owned. The fabric is soft and has some stretch to it, which is great if you’re doing manual labor. This is my third pair and the previous ones I bought have proven to be very durable. These jeans work with cowboy boots, sneakers and whatever kind of shoes you decide to wear. If you’re a CCW holder and carry inside the waistband, the rugged flex material makes it much more comfortable. I also like that they have seven belt loops to keep my belt securely planted

I'm 6'5 and 265lbs, that means buying clothes is not easy. These jeans are my new go to. The fit perfectly while still looking "Stylish" (if you care about that). The stretch is really nice, the jeans fit me perfectly with and without my IWB holster. I have even run sprints in these with no issue. I have had one pair for about 6 months and have not worn out the crotch yet, as I do in every other pair of jeans I've ever owned. I just bought 2 more pairs and will continue to purchase these as my go-to pair of jeans.

Good bye levi's. I've worn mainly levi 517s for years , no more . I've never worn jeans with a little stretch, these are awesome. 6ft 220ish , perfect fit . Front pockets are nice and deep , sit just below waist , length is spot on . 36x32 , normally I bought 35×32 in levis which shrunk and if I didn't hang them dry they would be tight . My only nit pick is depth of rear pockets. If they hold up for a year ill be extremely happy . Im hoping the stretch will prevent the rear pocket tear that my levis always get .

I've been wearing Silver jeans for years, until I finally just couldn't bring myself to keep paying $120 for jeans that ripped pretty consistently along the seams. Decided to try out Carhartt as I have coats and shirts of theirs, and they stand up to their rep in terms of durability. I was expecting these to be really stiff and "starchy" like the duck pants they have. Not at all, these are really comfy and seem like they'll hold up really well. We'll see what they're like in 6 months.

I bought these for my husband for Father's Day. He's 6'5, about 350 and I did the 46x32. They are absolutely perfect. The length is just past his ankle, the waist fits perfect, and the legs are just right with a good, fit. I wouldn't say relaxed and saggy, but definitely not skinny jeans. The color is slightly darker than normal, and these can easily be dressed up. He has another pair of pants, for working around the house. Absolutely love this brand!!

I've always had trouble finding jeans that fit right, and these are the best I've ever found. Well fitted around the waist and thighs without being tight, plenty of room in the crotch, and not too much extra fabric around the lower legs and calves. I definitely wouldn't call them relaxed fit, but I do have fairly thick thighs. I'm 5'8", 160lbs, with an athletic build and these are the best jeans I've ever owned at a 31w X 32l. Will buy more.

This is the second pair of these pants that I have purchased in the last couple of months. The first pair I ordered through Amazon fashion and it was over three weeks before they even shipped, even though they were in stock Loved the pants once I received them so I purchased a second pair. The second pair I ordered without going through Amazon fashion and they shipped in less than a week.

Given Levi's recent foray in to politics I decided to find another clothing vendor. A friend at work suggested I try Carhartt. The fit is perfect for me and although I'm not crazy about them coming from China, I'll say the quality looks better than the last several Levi's I've bought. I'll be trying some of the other Carhartt items soon as I leave 40 years of Levi products behind.

They are pretty much Levis 502. They are a modern fit (closer fit but not skinny) some might not like it but since I wear Levis 502 and 512 I can tolerate it. They sit lower on your waist so if you bend over a lot you will have to keep pulling them up which can be annoying. Also buy your “normal” size since they stretch you don’t have to worry abilities them running small.

I thought maybe I should buy one size up, but the size waist I normally get (usually wear Levis) fits well. The jeans stretch well enough that it's easy to move around.It seems like a closer fit, but like I said, I have good motion in them. I can put a big cell phone in the front pocket with no problem. The front pockets are deep, which I like a lot.

Carhartt quality that you’d expect. They’re great jeans. I’m a fan of anything Carhartt makes. I honestly had my doubts on how they’d look though. I was pleasantly surprised. They’re a little tight in the waste for the size (I wear a 30x32) but I’d rather them be a little tight than falling off my behind in a couple of hours.

Good fit. I'm 5'11" @ 175lbs. Athletic build. 32x30 is perfect. Not too baggy from waist to knee. Little loose from knee to ankle. Strange part was i ordered the same pair in "Hickory" color and the fit was slightly different. Maybe its a different cut? But the titles was the same. Oh well, still like them both.

Comfortable pair of jeans, looking modern and even fashionable. A bit of stretch there make them fit better. The waist is a little high but it’s not a con. I can wear them without belt, and they’re not falling down. The color is a bit different from the picture on Amazon. I recommend.
