At the time of writing, this set is being sold at £28.53. These contain 7ml of ink, comapred to the XL cartridges which are 11ml. So the equivalent price for the XL cartridges would be £28.53 x 11 / 7, which is £44.84. Amazon are selling a full set of the XL cartridges for £59.48. This does also include the PG550XL, which costs £12.45 on its own. So the equivalent cost of the XL cartidges for comparison is £59.48 - £12.45, which is £47.03. If you're still with me, you'll now have realised that buying these smaller cartridges is better value than buying the XL ones, which isn't what you would have expected.It's a different matter if you're buying individual cartridges,

As someone has said previously - how do you review ink?All I can say is that used on an MX925 all-in-one printer/scanner, I've found Canon genuine inks to produce much better photographs on glossy paper. I've previously had to junk two canon printers when 'compatible' inks blocked the print head, or produced results that were frankly rubbish. I resent paying silly money for printer ink - albeit this was the most competitive price that I found for the real mccoy - but I would never recommend using third party inks. At least on a device with separate ink tanks, you don't throw away an entire cartridge when only one colour has run out. Recommended,

Got a good canon printer and it replaced a previous one in which I used compatibles and i blame these for giving that printer and early binning. I will now buy genuine inks from canon and the quality is there. Yes its more expensive but unless your printing the magna carter Its not that expensive considering you may end up investing in another new printer if u dont use the genuine items.Also buy on amazon and the basic non XL version as they dont last much longer

The product itself was fine, what I had expected and on time no probs but it was lightly packaged and it appears as though the Post Office was a bit rough with it as the bubble pack inside was damaged, cracked in fact. Bubble jet cartridges are pretty robust and they survived the ordeal and worked ok, still good product and delivered on time, it would have been five stars without the damage.

Good ink cartridges, lasts well, good value (for printer inks), easy to change and no drying up of the ink. I like the way that you can just change the colour that has run out rather than, which was the case with my last printer, where you had to chage the complete colour cartridge when just one colour had run out - this used to bug me! So I'm impressed with Canon ink (and the printer).

Good value when ordered as a pack as compared to individual cartridges. However they just don't seem to last very long, even when doing 95% black and white printing, the colours cartridges seem to run out quite quickly. Not sure if this is the fault of the printer, or whether the multi-pack aren't full of ink, and maybe that explains the price difference compared to buying individually.

This is best price I've found Canon ink at_& best price place is where I'll always buy it! Cheaper substitutes are available but I recommend this ink for decent Canon printers. Buying ink from Canon can cost more than their cheapest printers!And update (make your site more friendly)-thus STOP trying to shove people into damn AMAZON PRIME!

This should be an economical way to acquire these cartridges but the savings scarcely justify buying in bulk. The standard cartridge life is short and much greater savings can be had buying the XL ink tanks.Even then, the "XL" cartridge life is roughly the same as the previous generation (CLI-8) standard product.

Great purchase however the black cartridge is the only one that isn't used as much. Not sure why the pack includes the colour? I would rather see a 2nd yellow or another of the 2 colours instead. I have 4 black cartridges since October 2016 and since then I both 4 of this inkjet cartridge Canon pack.

Arrived promptly, well packaged both for transit and for storage. It does seem that these newer inks when combined with the latest Canon PrinterPixma 7200 series produce an even better image than previous models...or is it my imagination ! Highly Recommended.

I always buy a spare ink when fitting a cartridge to my printer, so haven't used it yet, but it arrived intact, so see no reason why it won't work perfectly when I need it. Basically, I wanted a genuine cartridge & this was the best price I could find.

I just think they are too dear , when are the printer companies come up with a reusable and refillable ink cartridge . I only bought these because my printer refused to print with the compatible ones that I had been using for the past couple of months

Canon ink straight from the factory.Approved by Canon therefore keeps the warranty up to date.Hopefully keeps everything as it should be.Previous experience with a previous printer tells me to use "approved" ink to avoid wishy washy colours.

Great quality original ink, but only 4 stars due to the price and size of the ink tanks. Of course compatible ink is available much cheaper, however I prefer to run original as I have personally found it causes less issues and is more reliable.

I have only given the product four stars and would have given it five stars but, I haven't had the necessity to use them as yet. They are Canon originals, so I feel they will prove to be first class, as with all my other Canon equipment.
