We have the Candy Bianca that is connected up to the iphone so naturally purchased another Candy appliance thinking i could run both from the app. (Yes i didnt read the small print) so I am gutted it doesnt work with apple which is stupid and hope it fixes fhis soon.The dryer itself is great! Quiet, does what it says. Another negative is the water compartment is on the floor where you have to keep clicking out the plastic front to get to it, this would make it difficult for someone in a wheel chair, or back issues etc.Apart from this its a great dryer.

I wanted to upgrade from my old vented tumble dryer to a condenser as I wanted to house it in a cupboard in my hallway instead of my bedroom. After reading many reviews on multiple tumble dryers I opted for this one and I am not disappointed! It does exactly what I want it to, I love the features, it’s easy to use, it’s not to noisy and it’s 9kg capacity is way more then I need! It looks great and everyone who’s seen it has commented! I use the dryer 4-5 times a week and this one is just perfect

I purchased this to replaced my ageing vented dryer. My first impression was very good but it's downside is it is very noisy, it sounds like indian war drums. However it does dry well although the times are much longer than my old dryer, used to take an hour now takes 2 but should be more efficient. It has a reverse tumble so that helps with the ironing and a good capacity at 9kg. overall I would recommend it, but I would put it in the garage out of the way so that it doesn't annoy you too much.

Great looking machine,has more than enough options on it and still not sure what too use what for,but we have only had for a week so only time will tell. Its nice having a condenser and not having to worry about a pipe to stick out of the window as we couldn't anyway which is why we went for this type. Overall very pleased and having a family certainly makes it easier to get clothes dry,but Im sure we have our neighbours washing as well as its never ending and cant wait for a electric bill..!!

When the drive belt shearer on our previous dryer mid-cycle it wrecked the running strip making it virtually unrepairable, so I knew I would get nagged if I didn’t get a new one sharpish!After a bit of shopping around I settled on this one and ordered it toot de suite - good call!Delivery was fast and efficient, the friendly guys dropped it at my front door and after removing the packaging I had it in, levelled and operating within half an hour - the boss was most impressed when she got in.

This is a superb dryer. It has lots of options to use with different types of clothes. Digital display tells you how long each cycle is. It's a little louder than expected but manual says it's only at the start. You can use your phone via app download to setup which cycle you want, delayed start and how dry you want your clothes so you don't need to play around with the controls on the dryer. The filter is easy to clean and the tank easy to empty. Overall, it is really great for a family of 4..

After my19yr old Creda Reversair front vent dryer broke down, I chose this Candy dryer after reading many good reviews. I was a bit overwhelmed with all the new technology at first but after reading the manual discovered it is easy to use & leaves clothes dry & almost crease free. A little more maintenance is required, ie cleaning condenser and emptying water (I always cleaned filter in my old dryer) but it is worth it to not have to keep the garage door open. I would definitely recommend it.

After what seemed endless days of rain and wet washing .I persuaded my husband to drive me to Argos to collect a Candy tumble dryer .My life has been totally transformed by this wonderful machine .No more frantic attempts to dry uniforms in time for work .No more steamed up windows whilst we all sit baking because the heaters are on to dry the washing or freezing because the heaters are covered in washing .My heating bills have reduced and my electricity bill is not noticeably different .

I love all the settings.The time left display is also really good although my loads have always finished a wee bit earlier than that time.that's good thing.It's so much quieter than old hotpoint & when it says things are dry they are dry unlike hotpoint which would go on a few times to get it dry.My only gripe is the water tank. It so close to ground.This is not a problem for me but I could imagine some one with a bad back would struggle.This is only place hotpoint wins.It's tank was at top.

The candy GVS C9GDG dryer is well put together.It has more features than i will ever need and seems to handle anything. My washing is always exactly as dry as i want it and it is in less time than my old dryer.It is very economical to run as it has a good energy rating and will stop drying as soon as it senses the clothes done. This means it does not over use electricity or shrink your clothes which is nice.It is very easy use the lint and water collector are easy to access and clean

It was simple to set up and understand, love the soft touch controls and little gentle beep it gives on confirmation of the control initiated! Being a condenser unit, it is easier than a vented one, no cold room or fumbling about with a chunky hose out of a window. I have used 4 full loads already before having to empty the collecting tank for the water and was easy to remove. Very attractive machine and like the digital read out indicting time for each setting and other sundry controls.

Honestly wasn't expecting this dryer to be any different from my old one but I was well impressed! Its got loads of programmes even a wool programme. Easy to load as wide door and easy to clean the filter. Very impressed with how it works out how long to dry things, ie load of towels, time initially says 2hrs 53m but counts down really quick and dries in just over 1 hour! Really efficient saving time and money. It is also lovely looking, I know its only a dryer but this is impressive.

I love this dryer as it has a clever sensor on it that cuts the drying time as necessary so the dryer is not running unnecessarily. It has lots of features that I haven’t explored yet but I love the fact that the clothes are dry and ready for folding when I get to it. I love the fact that I can programme the cycle to come after an hour and so on as it allows me to set the dryer overnight when the electric is cheaper. My only disappointment is that the app doesn’t work with iPhone.

The dryer it's self is great and loads of different options to pick when drying your clothes. Really big can fit a single duvet inside it. Only down side is the app I was lead be believe I could control the dryer while in another room or while I'm at work but it's not you have to put your phone on the dryer to sync it when uploading your drying programs and even that's almost impossible it still refused to sync even when it has beeped to tell me it has noticed my phone next to it

I bought this Candy tumble dryer condenser black 9kg. Based on research and reviews, along with talking to Agos Customer Services, I had initially wanted to buy another brand that I was used to, but thankfully I chose this one instead. It was easy to use, easy to clean, so quiet and spacious, I would definitely recommend this brand and product without any doubts. It deserves five out of five stars, along with excellent customer service and delivery. Good value for money.
