I bought the Party Grill 200 first and returned it because I found the 400 for only 10 quid more and it's completely worth it.The good:- compact and easy to carry- complete kit (various grills, lid) that you'll need to get a good meal cooked anywhere you are- works well with bayonet type gas canisters (CV300, CV470) - very convenient. Can be popped on or off with ease- the food's actual taste really comes through. No charcoal contamination. Healthier.PRO TIPS:- wrap the inside body of the BBQ (beneath the grill) with tinfoil to make cleanup a breeze!- use the shiny metal grill, not the nonstick grill, if you're using high heat since nonstick isn't safe past 220CThe not so good:- still pretty hard to clean but much better than a charcoal grill.

I compared this item to the similar Cadac Safari Chef but chose the Campingaz Party Grill because of its all metal construction. It works really well - is quite frugal with the gas it uses (one cartridge has lasted 5 weekends so far!), and the burner is protected from the wind by the bowl it is sat in so no issues with flame being blown out in the wind.It comes with a great selection of cooking surfaces which all clean easily, and packs up neatly into itself and then goes into the included carry bag, along with a gas cartridge.Now for the only bad point. When using it as an 'oven' with the dome lid over the top, moisture from the food that you're cooking collects on the inside of the dome and then runs down the sides and over the lip onto the work surface.

I bought the Campingaz Party Grill 400 CV, Camping Stove and Grill, All-in-One Portable Camping BBQ, with Griddle to use whilst I was caravanning, or on a day out in the country. I researched the advantages/disadvantages etc prior to my purchase from the reviews on Amazon and other sources.Since buying and using it I would advise to any prospective buyer in the market for this type of product to get one, it is a marvellous product. Practically anything you would want to cook in one place and on one device is achievable. Fry up including the eggs, pasta, pizza and steaks on the griddle or a stir fry in the wok supplied. Not only achievable but simple to do, simple to clean and simple to store when you are finished.

Well I'm impressed, people walked past me cooking on it and didn't say a word so I chased them down and made them listen to me rabbit on for 20min on how good this is. Seriously you can do so much more than a traditional bbq people say oh but you don't get that nice smokey flavour because theres no coals I found smoking a 20 deck and breathing directly onto the meat solved this problem perfectly slightly mentholy steak. So if you don't want to bring a frying pan or saucepan or griddle then go for this, I even boiled water in the lid which can be used for stir fry etc. Great item I would recommend a small pizza stone to put init for amazing Pizzas mine were fine just a little bit crispy on the

I've not actually received this yet, but I am very much looking forward to receiving it. One of my friends have the older version of this and it's great, perfect for camping if you don't want to have much mess.The grill is (I think) 48% more powerful than it's predecessor. It only takes Campingaz gas which I would say is a little bit of a drawback, but they may release an adapter to allow other gas bottles to fit to it. It's not the end of the world though as they're not too expensive to purchase.Really looking forward to using this, will make cooking whilst camping a heck of a lot easier than a BBQ - although, I do love a good BBQ.

This barbecue is fantastic - looked at it for many years and finally bought oneThe main pro is that the lid on top keeps in heat and things cook really quickly, and with the wind guard it also means things cook on windy beaches, unlike the basic square stove one we previously used.The drip tray works well, twists off the gas element once used so you can wash separately, and if you want a small table for a cup of tea you can use the base and legs for this too!worth buying and the twist on gas canister has lasted really well, only needing to get a new one now and we have used this for at least five trips.

Absolutely brilliant BBQ. Bought this for camping trip to replace my old charcoal BBQ (which was absolutely rubbish) and this exceeded my expectations. Its easy to use, extremely quick to set up and cook on. Th heat is instant and gets very hot indeed, but easy to control even down to a low temperature. So versatile, you can cook absolutely anything on it - from breakfast with bacon and eggs, traditional BBQ over a grill, using the lid upside down as a wok, to even using it as a pizza oven. I cannot recommend this enough!

I'm a great fan of the outdoors and regularly camp, I noticed a few people with this gas bbq while camping and wanted to see what all the hype was about. I'm so glad I bought one, no longer taking a massive bag of coal, a bbq, saucepan and frying pan as this can do it all, I even boiled water in the lid and made a stir fry as well as cooking pizza! easy to clean, controlled heat, fast cooking, all in one, portable what's not to like. Minors, tad expensive and non stick coating looks very light

Excellent. Once you figure out how the various layers work you can actually transform your cooking with this. We even did some baking (with some mistakes, but it's not really marketed as an oven, we just experimented with the lowest possible heat and managed to make brownies and a pizza).The lid / wok is an ingeniuos solution.Everything cleans easy and seems to hold up to the demands of camping with no marks after a two week mutli-location trip, using every day for at least two meals a day.

This is one fantastic bbq! Is small to take it with you in the car and has tones of great combinations. Every little piece snagly fit where it should without any loose like in other bbqs. I recommend this item to everyone who wnat to take something descent to the beach or quick bbq on the patio. Hot plate part is double sided. One side fir meat, is textured so fat can drip off. Reverse side is flat and has a lip so you can cook egs, beens, pizza etc! Ohh... and it was delivered nex morning ?

Works well - well made and useful, particularly for veggies who's burghers, etc. can tend to fall through normal BBQ grills. I love the griddle plate for cooking vegetables and veggie burghers - I still prefer meal being cooked on a real BBQ for the smokey taste. However, this little cooker is very good and very portable. It also heats up and cooks instantly while also sheltering the gas burner from the worst of the wind - invaluable in the UK. Very good and very practical

Very easy to clean, sturdy and easy to pack away. Lidl sell a set of 3 non stick frying pans (ernesto) which have a detachable handle which I find great to use with this stove and the pans can sit down much lower into the blue bowl especially when using on a beach because the handle comes off the pan. Only downside, it's a pity they have no lid for the work as it takes a bit longer for thinks to come to the boil without a lid.

Small compact in its own bag. Plenty of variation for cooking or bbq. We have used a frying pan on the burner and used the grill plate for stake. With 2kw heat output it is great for a good quality stake to cook medium rare. We have put the legs in 80cm long white plastic tubes which gives it a stable and easy working height when you are over 80. If you shop around the gas cylinders are available at very competitive prices.

This is the DADDY of camping grills. I wanted a portable grill without the hassle of a regulator hose and expensive gas canister. This fits the bill perfectly. Used it last weekend for the first time during a camping trip. It boiled the kettle quickly and cooked perfect Egg and Sausages butties for breakfast. 1 small canister lasted the weekend and It was easy to clean and pack away. Really happy and would recommend.

Amazing I don't know why I did not buy this before. Yes it is good to have a charcoal bbq while camping and the flavor is better on the bbq but with kids and space this the the only thing you need to cook all. Super fast to setup and use. Easy to clean and is just one thing to put in the car. The cartridges you can buy everywhere. Under a tenner for a big one will last easy a 3 day campaign 3 meals a day
