Adding ice to the water keeps it cool for a few hours. Towards 4/5 hours of a very hot day the water is not cold but it is not a hot broth (as in my previous drum), you can drink it and it shows a lot of difference with a traditional drum. The valve is a great invention, forget about opening the mouthpiece by biting the valve, always open and it doesn't lose a drop. Very happy with the purchase. It is worth what it costs. Recommended product.

The insulation works well so far. Drinks stay cold for a long time. Unfortunately, the lock makes an annoying noise when driving - it probably doesn't close 100%. The bottle is also relatively high - with most frame sizes it will probably be tight under the top tube, or the space for a possible pocket in the triangle would be gone.

Loved it! Keeps water cool. But no caps come with it. I had to buy it separately: To protect the bottle nozzle from dirt, mud etc. Buy Camelbak Podium Mud Cap 2019 version for this bottle, not 2018. Or else it won't fit.

I use this as my daily water bottle. I like that it keeps my water cold in 32C+ temperatures cool. There can be a bit of drippage but it’s not like water spills everywhere.

I'm not crazy about the CamelBak cap nozzle. I like the Polar cap better but ride in the 90 degree heat most days. This bottle is actually cold after a few hours.

The truth is that I was surprised. I was skeptical that she really could stand the cold water but it is a joy. Shipping very fast and everything perfect

Excellent for long cycling rides. Drinks stay cold and very easy to use. Loved it is much I ordered a second one so I am easily hydrated on long rides.
