I've spent a few days drinking from my CamelBak Peak Fitness Chill Insulated Water Bottle, and here are my thoughts and observations so far.Love the feature that locks the drinking spout so it can't leak. This worked great for me. When unlocked, you can squeeze the bottle to pour water into your mouth or suck it out. which isn't difficult. It doesn't drip when unlocked so far; if you hold it over your mouth with the spout pouring downward, nothing comes out unless I squeeze it.The size is perfect for me. 25 ounces is just right. I'd have preferred a wider, slightly taller drinking spout, but this one worked pretty well. There's a cap to cover it so it doesn't get dirty or dusty or you cat's nose can't touch the drinking area, but be sure to push the cap on all the way - it's easy to push on only part way, or at least that was the case for me.It does keep water colder longer - not as long as my double-walled stainless steel water bottle, but definitely longer than a non-insulated bottle. Don't expect half a bottle to stay cold on a hot day for 6 hours, but the water will be nice and cold in an hour or so, longer on a not-so-hot day.As other users have said, it's not that steady. I can stand it on my desk and it stays up, but the triangular bass has rounded edges and doesn't have that much surface area touching whatever I put it on. It's not steady on a less than flat surface that a coffee mug or stainless steel can like a Klean Kanteen would be pretty steady on.Nowhere that I could find does it claim to be BPA free or free of any other chemicals, and as far as I can tell, it doesn't claim to be dishwasher safe, which would have been a huge plus.I'd consider this a 3 1/2 star review. There were things I liked about the bottle - it's lightweight, easy to squeeze, lightly insulated and you can lock the top so water can't drip or pour out. And you can fit ice cubes in the mouth, a definite plus. On the other hand, I prefer to use BPA-free plastics or silicone for my food and drink stuff, and I'd have liked this better if it were steadier. The insulation worked, but not for as long as other insulated cups and bottles I own, but this is lighter and can't crack if you whack it on something. Overall, I'd say this is a good - but not great - sports bottle with some features my other bottles don't have, which was nice.

I used this water bottle on the way to work today. I liked it immediately! Here's why:1) It's big enough - 25 ounces.2) It's easy to drink from. You squeeze it, and it comes out. You can suck it, but it's easier to squeeze. (Note: it does make a little noise when using.)3) It's durable - I dropped it and it was fine. It doesn't leak when it's on its side or even upside down, which makes it good for hiking and camping too.4) It's slightly insulated. There's a small insulation sleeve between the two BPA-free plastics bottle.5) The lid and cap are nice. It's a screw on/off cap and can be taken apart for cleaning. There's also a little rubber-like cap that protects the spout so junk doesn't get in.Finally, the lid has a twist lever that you can use to shut or open the spout. My only dislikes of the bottle are minor: 1) you can't see through it to tell how much water is left and 2) it's skinny, which means it fits in cup holders, but it's also tall, which makes it tippable. Again, it won't leak when it tips, but it can tip over more easily than wider water bottles. Minor, I know, but worth mentioning. All in all, I like this water bottle and will be using it a ton!

I use this water bottle for hiking and mountain biking and it has worked well for both. There isn't a ton of insulation in it, but there is enough to keep your water cool. I typically add a few ice cubes to help. The neck of the bottle is wide enough to accommodate ice cubes and makes the bottle easy to clean. The lid stays on tight and I haven't had any leaks yet. The bottle is shaped for easy holding and while the sides of the bottle are stable, they're flexible enough to make drinking from the bottle easy. The bottle is also lighter than other CamelBak bottles I've owned. The only things I wish were a little better on the bottle is the valve to open and close the mouthpiece and the mouthpiece itself. The valve is a bit stiff and I always have to work with it to get it open and shut. On the plus side, it works well and the bottle doesn't leak when the valve is shut. The mouthpiece lets bubbles of air in when you first start drinking. It stops after a second, but your first swig will be full of air.Overall, I'm happy with the bottle. It could be better, but I'm happy with it as it is.

This lightweight water bottle by Camelbak is very lightweight and is easy to hold with its triangle shaped design. It tapers down to the base so you can choose to hold it at the spot that fits your hand the best. It is insulated to help water or your workout drink stay colder longer. The anti-spill design is great. With the flip lid off you can turn it upside down and it won't spill but when you drink from it with mouth suction it suddenly releases your drink. I love this feature and am impressed by it. I am using this at the gym with water. My one complaint is that it wobbles when you put it down on a flat surface at first and sometimes it tips over as it is top heavy when full of liquid and due to the weight of the lid. This is not an issue if mainly using it in a bottle holder on a bike or if using a cup holder on workout equipment. Despite this complaint I am rating it 5 stars = Love It. The black with silver dots design is unisex and sophisticated in color.

The CamelBak Peak Fitness Chill Insulated Water Bottle is a decent enough water bottle. It's easy to clean and has a good bit of give to it. The seals are good and I've had no issues with leaks, either from the cap or the lid. The twisting lock-out cap is a nice touch and I find it pretty easy to use (although not great with one hand). The cap disassembles for cleaning, which you'll probably want to do on occasion, especially if you're drinking anything other than water. The bottle itself has a triangular shape at the bottom, which they call "optimized hand fit." It's fine and will fit in a cup holder as well, but what it's not optimized for is the water bottle holder on most bikes,so it's not great for that. The insulated bottle does keep beverages cold for a good bit, so if you need to keep it cold, this works great for that. Overall, it's a nice water bottle, it just has a few quirks that seem to be the product of odd design choices.

This CAMELBAK bottle has been my daily water bottle since purchase. It keeps drinks cold for a longer period of time and has a more than capable locking system to prevent accidental spillage. The mouth piece is sealed meaning pressure has to be either applied to the bottle or you have to suck to get fluid which again prevents any spillages.Pros:- Good capacity without being too bulky, this can easily fit in the bottle compartment in all of my backpacks.- A good level of insulation that keeps my drinks colder for longer.- Easy to disassemble and clean.Cons- The cap can attract lots of dust- A 'quick'clean doesn't do a lot to the mouthpiece system so a disassembly and good scrub is advised between uses.- The triangular shape is good in the hand but may not be compatible with some bike bottle storage cages.Overall, a great product that i would purchase again without second thought.

This is a pretty great sports bottle. It is lightweight, durable, and slightly insulated. It actually fits in my water bottle holder on my bike and keeps my drink cold for longer than your average bottle. I take one star off because if you squeeze it too hard, it kind of splatters out instead of sprays out. However, once you get the hang of it, it isn't too hard. This only matters to me, because if I have to share with my kids I usually would rather that I just spray it in instead of let them suck on it (would rather not have their backwash)...But seriously, otherwise this is a nice bottle and I really do like having a bit of insulation that isn't in the form of some hard metal canister.

new fitness-focused design. Double-walled construction: keeps water cold twice as long. Easy to clean: all parts can separate for thorough cleaning. Easy squeeze: get more fluid with less effort. High flow, self-sealing cap: maximizes flow rate while eliminating splatters and spills. I think this can be utilize in a fitness type activity (hiking, walking, running, walking, yoga etc. ) It has triangular shape, making it easy to hold & better standalone stability. Wthis is a performance and functionality bottle. . From the gym to the studio and everywhere in between, the Peak Fitness bottle is a effective accessory must

It's definitely a good water bottle. It's easy to hold and easy to use. I don't see myself running with it which I think I saw in the some advertising or marketing, just based on the size. As someone who uses cycling water bottles almost exclusively I am glad I gave this a try, but I personally prefer the cycling bottle width and size. I just always feel that it is about to fall over since it is a bit thinner and the center of mass is higher. Thankfully, the seal is good so even if it does fall or you drop it, it doesn't spill. It's a great product that others will probably value more than me.

The bottle is light weight, slimmer and easier to carry than stainless steel vacuum bottles. The downside is that the chilled water will not last long. I filled the bottle with 50% ice and 50% water. After 4.5 hours the water turns into room temperature. Because of this, I won’t carry this bottle if I want to spend the whole day at the beach.Filling the bottle with juice or any liquid containing pulps (orange juice for example), is not recommended. The bottle contains some mechanism engineered with high precision that can be blocked or jammed by the tiny particles from the juice.

The bottles are lovely - very light, totally leak proof and very elegant. I bought 2 - one for my daughter and another for my son, with the intention of using them for school. I still have to decide whether the water stays cool for appreciably longer than in regular bottles - it seems not. Also, after drinking, the spout will make a noise as the air is replaced within the bottle. If you are thinking of getting it for school, some teachers might not appreciate the sound made after drinking in class.

Looks good and does hold water. The one way valve is good and the product feels sturdy however the lockout mechanism has an internal plug which fell out prior to me receiving it (possibly during transit as the bottle is empty). The plug needs to be popped back in for the lock mechanism to work, don’t worry the bottle isn’t broken the pieces are all meant to be easily removable for cleaning just be aware instead of thinking the lock is faulty like I did! :-) all sorted now though.

The twist lock was a little tough to open and close, but the rubber cap is extremely convenient and water won't leak out of it even when the water bottle isn't locked. Love this bottle!

I have used Camelbak podiums for years but this one is a great improvement for the gym with the handle and the cover. The shape is nice so it doesn't roll around.

I use this bottle on my bike routes its extremely easy to pull and when you keep the nozzle open it won't warm up you still have to squeeze to get the liquid out
