I have a lot of the camelbak podium chill bike bottles which come in 21 or 25oz size. They are basically the same as this bottle except with a normal round shape whereas this bottle has a triangular shape which is purportedly easier to hold. While the triangular shape does feel nice in hand, I don't think it is worth the loss of 5 oz worth of fluid capacity. Especially given that this is an insulated model where you may want to use ice, 17oz is just too small in my opinion whereas the 21 or 25oz podium bottles both seem adequate. If you don't plan on ever using ice in the bottle and don't mind the smaller 17oz size, this is a nice bottle and I would recommend it.The redesigned valve on these new camelbak bottles is very easy to clean compared to the older models which is a huge plus, as that was one of the major issues I had with the older ones. The cap and valve assembly on this is exactly the same as that on the podium series bottles, so you can use it interchangeably on any of them, only the shape of the bottom bottle part is different on the different models. Also perhaps worth noting that this triangular shape bottle will fit in cycling bottle cages; however the fit is not very secure in most cages. It does fit securely in some very tight fitting cages like the Arundel mandible though.

I’ve had a couple Podium Chill Camelbaks for over 10 years and love them. I was excited to try this Peak Fitness Chill. Overall they are pretty similar, but there are a couple differences.Size: the Podium comes in a 21oz and 25oz, whereas this Peak comes in 17oz and 25oz. I personally prefer the Podium 21oz, this 17oz feels a little small for my bike ridesShape: the Podium is a traditional cylinder shape, this one is triangular. The triangular shape in this 17oz size is actually easier to get in and out of my bottle cage on my bike, so I kinda like it, but I never found myself annoyed with the Podium either.Cleanability: This bottle is easier to clean than the Podium! The lid design is good and I can put a straw cleaner entirely through one side to the other. I cannot do that with the Podium, so I’m not entirely sure what is lurking between the top I can see and the underside of the lid. They both have locking lids and similar water flow. This Peak comes with a mud cap as well which seems beneficial if you plan on tossing it in a backpack or gym bag, but I have taken mine off.Overall I like both bottles and prefer the Podium for the 21oz size, but this is a great option if you are fine with 17oz.

I love CamelBak's stuff and have quite a few of their packs and water bottles. This one is good but not perfect. The drink valve is top notch - good flow, easy to drink from whether sucking or squeezing the bottle or both, and totally leak-proof on its own. The lock mechanism is a nice plus, and very useful when I throw the bottle in a backpack where it might get inadvertently mashed. The insulated design works well and keeps water cold longer than single-wall plastic bottles, and it's tasteless and BPA-free. The mud cap is a great for keeping the valve clean, especially helpful when biking and dirt & mud get thrown around. My one knock is that I'm not crazy about the triangular shape.I've never had a problem gripping a round bottle, and this one feels more prone to tipping. Not a huge deal with this 17oz bottle, but I would guess the taller sizes would be even less stable.Overall, not perfect but still a great water bottle. CamelBak has perfected the valve design and they're a pleasure to use, but the shape here leaves me wondering if the change is better.

This 17 ounce water bottle by Camelbak is lightweight and is easy to hold with its triangle shaped design. It tapers down to the base so you can choose to hold it at the spot that fits your hand size the best. It is insulated to help water or your workout drink stay colder longer. The anti-spill design is great. With the flip lid off you can turn it upside down and it won't still won’t spill or drip but when you drink from it with mouth suction it suddenly releases your drink. I love this feature and am impressed by it. I am using this at the gym with water. My one complaint is that it wobbles when you put it down on a flat surface at first and sometimes it tips over as it is top heavy when full of liquid and due to the heavier weight of the lid compared to the bottle itself. This is not an issue if mainly using it in a bottle holder on a bicycle or if putting it in a cup holder on workout equipment. Despite this complaint I am rating it 5 stars = Love It. The main color is navy blue.

I've dropped plastic bottles and watched them break, and metal ones dent. Not always, but often enough. Lost a few plastic bottles that way. While this bottle is smaller, it is pretty well indestructible. The odd shape - three sides at the base and rounded at the top - means it does not fit well in traditional bottle or cup holders. You have to use a pouch, pocket or the attached handle. There is no straw but you can squeeze water out until it's about 60% full, then you need to tilt it. The lid has a vale, so even with the cap off it won't splash or leak, plus there's a twist lock that 100% prevents leaking by sealing the valve. There's two layers of flexible semi-ridged plastic with a layer of insulation between them. There's no mention if it's dishwasher safe or not, but as thin as the material is I would guess not.

This water bottle does keep my cold water cool after a couple hours at my heated gym (pics 01-02). I wouldn't consider it "chilled" just cool. After 2 hours at the gym, the water temperature warms up a bit. Even when I'm consistent about closing the water spout (pic 03). It's not a huge difference but this isn't keeping my water cold as my stainless steel bottles. This is made of plastic and the double insulation is also a light plastic material. I like that it's much more lightweight than my stainless steel water bottles. Makes it easy to carry & hold, especially when I'm changing machines & workout rooms.Recommended.

Camelbak has long been the gold standard for cyclists' water bottles. It's nice to seem them bringing their excellent technology to bear on the gym and everyday market. The Peak Fitness design has a triangular shape that feels great in your hand and fits well into cup holders. I think that it's perfect for the gym or for walking. The Camelbak Chill insulation technology is also amazingly effective. It will keep water cold for much longer than an uninsulated bottle and reduce sweating. The blue color in this bottle is particularly attractive and has a nice premium feel to it.

I had high hopes for this bottle. I like the design, dirt protector, doesn’t leak & the shape is easy to hold. But that shape is its downfall. It does not fit in any of our bike bottle holders – it wobbles around dramatically. As a hiking/walking bottle, it works great. It takes 2 hands to turn the unlock dial for water. The cap is an easy 1-hand, finger flick. That’s OK – I can transport to the trail with it locked & unlock it before getting on a bike…….that is IF it could be used in a bike bottle holder which is what I wanted it for.

This is a relatively small water bottle that is hand sized and pretty thin. It is 17 oz and has a twist top to seal it closed or to open it. It also has a flap to cover the nozzle and keep it clean. Additionally, it has a rubbery handle at the top also. The water bottle does a good job keep liquids cold for the duration of most athletic events. I have used the bottle while cycling. It is thinner than most cycling bottles but fits and stays in my the holder on my bike's vertical stem. The rubber cover and handle can easily be removed.

Great water bottle--I really like the triangular shape which is very easy to hold. It's easy to drink from, although I don't usually like having to suck and squeeze, but that's the kind of bottle this is. It is tapered, so it does kind of fall over pretty easily, but that's not really a big deal. It's lightweight, so I can easily carry it in my bag, and not feel weighed down. The bottle is a dark blue and attractive. Nice water bottle for workouts.

I was a big fan of Camelbak waterbottles although the last batch that I bought were difficult to clean and quickly went all black under the spout so had to be binned. These are much easier to clean as they are easy to take apart. The only downside is the nozzle is stiff and my son finds it difficult to open.

It does what it advertises! If you want a quick drink, it is a little slower when you have to twist it open and closed. I prefer a pop up top, but you find it never leaks.

This is a nice water bottle. It keeps the water cool for much longer than a standard water bottle. It is leak proof and easy to clean. Overall, I really love it.

wish the loop was larger and 17oz i've learned is too small, requires constant refilling, but no issue with the product or functionality.

This is a smaller version of our other CamelBak. It is good for travel or camping trips. Durable and able to endure the rugged outdoors.
