I've owned CamelBak bottles of various types and materials for many years, and my favorites, for the gym, car and around the house are all the kinds like this, with the straw and flip-up bite valve. (I use a CamelBak hydration pack for the bike so I don't have to remove my hands from the handlebars to take a swig.)I have an earlier version of this bottle--one of the original Eddy models, and it's my go-to bottle for the gym. The .6 liter size is perfect for a spin class. I've never liked the Eddy bite valve design as much as its predecessor, however, in which the part you use to flip the valve was a separate plastic piece. Admittedly, those break over time but in the Eddy the flip part is integrated,

I highly recommend CamelBak Eddy type water bottles. They are sturdy, leak proof, and very easy to clean. Some straw water bottle with soft/silicon spouts are a headache to take apart and clean. We switched from bottles straight to CamelBak Eddy for kids and it was the best decision. There was a learning curve as with any transition for little ones, but we caught on quick.I purchased this for an upcoming holiday trip, which we’ll be traveling by plane. I didn’t want any of us to have extra things in our hands since we will have a lap rider. So, this will go through security empty and the we’ll fill it with water for the plane ride.The leak proof and sleek design reassured me that getting a drink on the plane won’t be stressful.

I like the design of the transparent Charcoal version. It looks very nice and I enjoy carrying it around. You can check the status of the contents with a glance but it also adds a bit of privacy as to what is inside.This version will heat up in the sun so be sure to keep it in the shade.I really like the flip up nozzle. It is fast, convenient and easy to keep clean.It doesn't leak and functions very well.I find washing it is also pretty simple.The wide opening makes it good for cleaning with a wand or sponge by hand.Excellent Camelbak quality.

I have to say, I had no idea there was anything "special" about the straw portion of this bottle until I tried to drink from it and got nothing. I was like wth? But then I looked at the item description and reviews and saw it was a "bite valve", meaning you bite it slightly while taking a sip. At first I was pretty annoyed, but I continued to use it anyway and now I actually really like it. It does allow a more complete flow of liquid for some reason.

I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old daughter since she wanted a "big girl" water bottle for christmas. So far we have been really happy with the purchase. The bottle is a good size and the lid design has improved upon previous versions so it does not get pressurized and leak. The only issue is the bite valve comes off very easily and that can cause leaks itself. Other than this, the water bottle is great. I would recommend it to a friend.

I've always used the larger Camelbak bottles, and love the products and the "we've got your Bak" guarantee, but got this for traveling and am amazed at how much easier it is to fit the slightly smaller bottle into bags, briefcases etc. Also the new design of top has, so far, been brilliantly leak resistant - opened the lid at 38,000 feet yesterday and as soon as I bit the valve, pressurized water squirted out, but not a drop before that.

Camelbak never lets me down. They are always well made. I actually bought this for my 8 yr old son and ended up keeping it for myself and buying him another one. My husband doesn't like the way you suck out the water, but I like it and my son will too. The sucking mechanism (way to get the water out) is very similar to a kids sippy cup. So if you don't like the latex/nipple/squeezy drinking straw, then this may not be for you.

I wanted this clear, generously sized water bottle for my 5 year old grandson. He has a few of the smaller camelbak drink containers, but I was refilling them so often! He's into Pokemon right now, and I bought a pack of pokemon vinyl stickers and let him decorate it. He loves it, and now I don't have to refill the container so many times each day. You can count on the quality of a Camelbak.

My daughter takes this to gym and it is a good size for her. This was different then her other water bottles because you really have to suck the water in, instead of just a quick sip. She doesn't mind it and is happy that it does not leak like her previous water bottle from a different brand. It is easy to clean and refill and overall a good sturdy bottle.

This bottle is very high quality. The sucking tube inside can be easily cleaned and fitted back. The most important feature of this bottle is that it does not leak even when it falls on the floor by mistake. It is much better than the other ones in the market. Real good product. Safe to use even for the kids no spilling. Very well made!!

I ordered three of these bottles for the kids return to school this year. Overall, they are well made for a plastic water bottle. In the end my kids didn’t like the plastic straw design because they found them hard to drink from and stopped using them, but we keep them as back up because they are durable.

I love, love, love this water bottle. It has really helped me to consume more water. It is easy to carry around and holds 20 ozs of water. It is perfect. I got the clear one, which I really think looks clean and I can clearly see the amount of water I have remaining in it. Definitely 5 stars!

Literally exactly what I was looking for. I got the 20 ounces size and it’s perfect for me as a college student. It’s lightweight, simple design, no noise from drinking with the straw, easy to clean. This is my first camelbak product but it definitely won’t be the last!

I like the new design of the top, with the loop being larger and the bite valve being easier to pop open and closed. It is also slim enough to fit in my small car cup holders which oddly do not fit many standard travel mugs and cups.

the camelbak eddy is my favorite spill proof water bottle. They truly don't leak! I like my insulated aluminum one better for summer, but this one is great for use in the office or around the house.
