I got this to replace a stand-alone Cambridge Audio DAC (among other things) and was astonished that the sound quality was so much better. I am actually hearing things in familiar recordings that I have never heard before. So, top marks for sound, top marks for connectivity; I have got rid of a whole tangle of adapters and converters.However, the Cambridge Connect user interface on my tablet is something I could use when I lecture on ergonomics as an example of how not to do it. If I add items to the playlist they don't show up unless I do something else and come back. It tells me the player is stopped when it's actually playing. If I browse round the library the main menu disappears; I may have to press Back a dozen times to get it up.

This is a really good streamer. The sound is full, precise and detailed. Left me feeling that if this is so good what must the Edge be like. Cambridge stuff has always been good value for money but to my mind has felt a bit uninspiring. It did a job and it did that job well and was the first rung in real “Hi Fi”. This unit can more than keep up with some serious Hi Fi and for the price is a real bargain. I plugged the unit into my network and it picked up my NAS, qobuz and loads of internet radio stations without any messing about. It worked with my Macbook, iphone and anything else I tried it with. Fantastic sound quality from the DAC and plenty of inputs and outputs.If I had one niggle it would be that I think that the software “stream Magic” could be a bit better.

Superb sound. Currently trialling Qobuz hi res via built in Chromecast. Very impressive.Had problems getting the StreamMagic app to read my Streamer but the alternative app CAConnect does the trick. I would have liked a manual of some sort with it although the technical support from CA is very impressive .Spotify Connect is very straightforward. Seems to work best as WiFi rather than connecting via TP Link for some reason.Great piece of kit. Finds your router very easily but takes a little time to get to grips with it. Manual please!

Had mine for 6 months now. It’s pricey but I’m happy with the purchase. Very easy to use and the sound quality is very good. I have my CD player passing through the CXNv2 to make use of the DAC and it’s a subtle but noticeable improvement over the DAC in the Marantz CD6006. Versatile streamer loaded with features. It’s part of a multi room setup thanks to built in chromecast. Recent update brings Tidal Connect.

Amazing product, the reviews are totally accurate. The sound quality is excellent, I am using Tidal and have compared back to back with an Arcam CD player and the difference is negligible. The ease of use and accessibility to thousands of songs makes this my defacto source now. The price of this unit (the next step up seems to be in the thousands) makes this an excellent choice.

I partnered this with equally equally excellent CXA 60, and like the other reviewer was impressed by the detailed sound and I am playing familiar tracks anew as I am hearing new detail and ambience. I am using this with Spotify via my Apple and this interface is fine..I bought the silver unit and it looks classy and stylish. I can highly recommend the CXN..

Very easy to instal and use and very faithful music reproduction. The app would only address 100 directories on my music drive so I just creAted some sub directories. I’m truly delighted with this, using a Roksan Caspian amp and pretty high end Spendors it sounds awesome. I’m going to try out with my ancient Audiolab amp as I think may even sound better.

Just as the What Hi Fi review described it. Amazing sound clarity combined with ease of installation and use. Use the balanced output for better sound than the RCA.I have decided to connect my Krell S-350 CD player to the CXN V2 via an optical cable so that the CXN V2 DACs are used.....

I've now got all Cambridge Audio components for my stereo. The CX V2 is the latest addition and it's a superb piece of kit. Brings my ripped CD collection to life, truly a cracking streamer and the app is much better than anything I've used before.

Brought this from richer sounds I have to say connectivity is brilliant is up and running in less than five minutes sound quality is superb displays superb it’s just fantastic

Excellent player - found the network and immediately found Tidal, Qobuz and the NAIM servers elsewhere in the house and stays stable. Clean sound and easy setup. Recommended.

I love the sound, the ease of use and set up. It looks great and good value for money I think. The only disappointment is having to pay more for the Bluetooth adaptor.
