When i first got it, i thought it was broken and nearly returned it. Pressed the button many times and the LED light lit up (so i knew it was working) but no sound on my BY202 buzzer plugged into the wall. Turns out (and it's not mentioned on the instructions with the bell push, for some reason) that you need to hold down the button on the side of the BY202 for 8 seconds. Then it beeps, and after that it worked perfectly. Note also that you can change your ringtone by pressing a black button in the bell push. Why they'd include it in the bell push and not he mains unit, i have no idea.

I bought this push as additional push along with the BRYON 101 4 chime bell, followed the instructions, and was quite honestly surprised at how easy it paired up with the bell,then pressed the button within it (before putting on cover) and selected a chime different to the one I got with the bell itself, this in turn allowing your/making it easier to locate which door to answer,I also like the fact that unlike my former one, the pushes light up when they are pressed, which in turn shows the person at the door the bell should have/ owner is aware to your presents

After the initial pairing, pushing this button makes the doorbell ring. I don't know what witchcraft the manufacturers used to perform this magic, but I now wear a tinfoil hat around the house and hide under the table whenever the bell rings. The latter probably has more to do with unpaid bills than fear of wireless technology but I'm still mystified by how this works at all. It even sticks to vertical surfaces, which blows my mind.

Got the black version as im convinced delivery drivers not seeing the white version that comes with the door chimes.It drive me nuts when they knock on the glass part of the door when ive provided a door bell to push :)So have got the black version to stand out on a white door frame and so far so good.Wife thinks ive gone mental but it really used to grate me and now this black version has helped me move on :)

Bought this to replace pervious bell push that did not work but other unit was working fine.On arrival followed instructions but could not get to par with the bell unit we had. Found number for Byron in instructions and did not expect much if I was honest.Lady on the phone was amazing and BINGO all working. She even reminded me that we had a 2 year warranty on the part. Was very happy with their customer care.

Works exactly as it should do, inserted the batteries and followed the pairing procedure and it worked straight away, no messing or faffing about.The included sticky back pad also meant I could mount the new bell push in a more convenient location on the door, where the previous owners had mounted it meant it was never used and more open to the weather.I'm pretty confident this should last a while now.

Very easy to set up with my existing set-up which is actually a BY236FE model. I wasn't sure if it would work with this system, but then I noticed that BY30 bell push was said to work with all BY Series. The original bell-push seemed to last about 18 months and hopefully this new one will too. Our front door is very exposed and gets strong westerly winds and can get soaked with rainful.

We bought this for my Mother-in-law who has had the loud/flashing wireless door bell system for several years, her existing bell push stopped working due to rusted battery contacts which worked only briefly after being cleaned up. We bought this hoping it would work with her existing wireless doorbell and her plug in doorbell and it does ? Very pleased with purchase.

It seems that with the weather being so damp the bell push did not cope with so much moisture and stopped working. The two chimes were still working perfectly and I was unhappy about having to buy the whole lot again so I was very pleased to be able to just buy a new bell push. It was easy to set up and I now have a perfectly working bell again for very little cost.

I have a byron BY202 speaker. Somebody needed a bell push so they decided to steal one from my front door. Hence this purchase. It works, but don't forget to hold the old speaker button down until it beeps, then test this bell push while it's still in your hand. I just hope nobody decides to steal this replacement.

I'm so glad I found this replacement bell, I have the complete bell set at home and after many years the doorbell part stopped working. I managed to find this replacement bell. I literally took off the top section of my previous bell and replaced it with the top section of this.

This was to replace an old bell push of the same type which had become faulty. It was easy to instal because the design had not changed since the earlier one and it was possible to simply attach the front of the new one to the base of the old one, which was screwed to the wall.

Felt I had to set the record straight. Contrary to other reviews of this bell push it can be used as replacement, assuming the installation instructions are followed. The bell push needs to be 'paired' with the bell units. Follow the enclosed instructions and you'll be fine.

This bell was recommended to us because it is simple to install, is mobile so it can be carried around the house/garden and the flashing light is great for people who are hard of hearing.It is very easy to set up and there is a good choice of tunes/chimes to choose from.

Great used to replace a bell push that wasn't working properly on a BY201. Please note that to get this to work it must be paired with your chime as the intsructions tell you inside. It doesn't just work by putting the battery in as I found out.
