Best bike mirror i've come across. It has a ball and socket joint at each end of the stork and on the bar mount thus enabling infinite adjustability and perfect positioning. Easy to install on ANY handlebar using either the nylon jubilee style clip or the expanding wedge bar-end fitment.(They even supply the allen key). All the crucial parts are made of good quality metal whilst overall the product is light, stylish and minimal in design - not cumbersome. The mirror glass is convex too, thus giving an extra much welcome field of view. I bought two of the long stork type for my recumbent bike which may be why the image does vibrate a bit but its still perfectly useable.I would recommend this version over the short stem ones as it can be kept in-board from the ends of the bars and thus less vulnerable to bashes etc. Plus the long stork allows more range of adjustment. They were each well packed in separate boxes, individually dispatched and arrived together. I highly recommend this product and would expect its other variations to be of the same high standard - well designed and made.

I like a rear mirror and on my Trek CrossRip cyclocross bike with Shimano Sora gears/levers, the Mirrycle Road Mirror fitted the Shimano STI shifter/brake lever hood perfectly to provide a clear unobstructed rear view at a decent height past my right arm. Impacts and rough road riding have caused the mirror mount to snap twice but its still there held together with tape, not pretty but effective. My new Giant Defy Advanced Pro 1 with Ultegra gears, shifters and brake levers is a different proposition, the hood covers can't be peeled back to mount a Mirrycle Road Mirror so I came across this.It is well made, vibration free and stays firmly in place down by my right knee. Its a little small compared to the Mirrycle, hence 4 stars, and not so well positioned but the other road bike mirrors on offer seemed totally impractical and if it was much bigger where it is, it would be closer to my knee.I imagine it is suitable for most bar end diameters.

Having seen a review that said this was small, I checked the product dimensions and they were: 6.5 x 10.5 x 22.5cm. So I figured it wasn't all that small. However, those are the dimensions of the packaging, not the mirror itself. The mirror stalk is only 13cm (the mirror face is about 5.5cm). It only extends to the end of the handlebar. But the convex nature of the mirror means you can see a lot and I feel safer being able to see the crazy guy in the car behind me. (You could fix it in the end of the handlebar although this isn't an option for me as the grip is a movable throttle.) I also found the plastic screw to attach it to the handlebar could be easily shredded with a metal screwdriver if you are ham-fisted like me.I will add a photo to give you a better idea of the size of this thing. Overall though, I am a happy chappy.

After trying cheaper plastic bar end mirrors that simply vibrated and lost their position, I searched for a better quality product. These are apparently made in German by the same chaps who make the mirrors for BMW motor bikes so they must know a thing or two about the game.Anyway, this will not disappoint. The bracket is cast aluminium and fits very neatly in the bar end. The mirror is slightly convex; not enough to distort things but sufficient to open up the field of view.Remember this is for drop bars (racing handlebars) and will not be suitable for straight ones on a mountainbike etc. Sadly I've seen some poor reviews from people who couldn't read the description then blamed the product.A top quality, neat mirror.

I would give this item 6 stars if I could. It's designed to fit either on the handlebar ends or anywhere along the handlebars, and at any angle. It copes easily with my recumbent bike's bars that are perpendicular to the ground. The mirror is stable and gives excellent rear vision. I took the allen key (which was supplied) on my first ride with the mirror just in case, and indeed I had to use it.I feel a lot safer knowing what is going on behind me. The mirror's so good that I found myself paying more attention to what was happening behind me than in front of me. Hopefully, the novelty will wear off soon!

Easy to fit and provides a good view to the rear once adjusted. This is the second mirror I have bought as I lost the first one in an accident. I would definitely buy again if I needed. The only problem with it is the "ball end" that fits into the bracket on the handle bar - it is very difficult to get this to tighten so it will stay put once you have adjusted it. I have had to place a small piece of rubber against the "ball end". Now perfect but that is the reason for 4 stars not 5.

A well made, solid mirror. Typical of B & M, the reflective surface is glass not plastic, so won't easily scratch. Sound fixing, easily installed and doesn't vibrate. Takes a bit of experimenting to get the position that's right for you. Only downside for me, hence four stars is that when riding down 'on the drops' the mirror is partly obscured by your right wrist and you have to twist your hand outwards to see what's behind.

This is the one to buy. Forget the rest, whenever I buy a new bike with drop bars this is the first add on that I buy. Rock solid and easy to fit. An allen key is used to expand the fitting inside the bar end. I've only broken one after a fall but they usually survive most tumbles or when the bike falls over on it's own. It doesn't protrude out as far as lot of other bar end mirrors so is quite compact as well.

This fits on the handlebar of my recumbent trike and is useful for seeing behind as turning my head to look round is not possible. The range of adjustment is good, but I do not know if in time the joints will work loose and stop the mirror from staying in the same position. A larger mirror would be better, but as I have it on the nearside I do not mind much.

Excellent product, it took a time to figure out how to add to bike handles but soon found out that if you place it UNDER the handlebar then you have very clear vision of behind you. Otherwise your arm is in the way - instructions do not recommend this placing so a bit confusing to start. Overall product - well recommended!

I cycled 6000km or so on some very bumpy roads before this mirror snapped off. It was invaluable for safety and peace of mind and I am using it again for a cycle across Africa. It is versatile and reliable. It is suitable for handlebars where the ends are blocked off by grips such as the ergon gp5s.

A bit fiddly to adjust (but then most mirrors are) but a clear view and works with panniers and drop bars. The handlebar mounting bracket is of rather soft plastic and the screw slot burred easily. Works loose quite quickly if you have to keep folding it out of the way, but tightens up fine.

Marked down because I'm now on my second in 4 years. The Zinc alloy casting that is the ball joint snapped off the first one when the bike fell over. For a German product (which I now rate as like "made in Britain" of 50 years ago) I'm surprised the ball is not forged stainless steel.

Absolutely excellent mirror. Smaller than I'd imagined, but absolutely large enough and with a great angle of view. Fits snugly in the bar end and adjusts easily but then remains stable and doesn't vibrate like some other mirrors do. Thoroughly recommended.

These are first rate mirrors. The optics are excellent and the plastic mouldings neat but substantial. They are discreet, acceptable even on high-end carbon bikes and Invaluable for keeping an eye on your fellow riders as well as approaching vehicles.
