I am so, so happy with this trailer. It is super easy to set up, lightweight, but has a huge amount of room in the back for supplies. Our inaugural use was on a beach vacation and this trailer made everything more fun. We used it to ride to the beach, to the ice cream store, and just around town. My daughter's scoooter easily fits in the storage so she can scoot all she wants and then hop in. My 3.5 year and 1 year old fit-but they are pretty close...so hopefully if you have 2 kiddos, they are good friends. ;-) Also, my 1 year old is too short for the helmet pocket. This is easily solved with a towel on the seat to raise him a little higher. This trailer is great value for the money if you want more space and comfort for the kids,you would probably need to spend $400 more...but I haven't had any complaints from the kids-they seem to LOVE it, so I don't know if the +$400 would be worth it. I haven't used the stroller much, except in the parking lot while my husband was loading the bikes onto the car, but from my brief whirl around the lot, it's a very smooth push-doesn't feel like I am pushing 70lbs worth of children. Much easier to push than my uppababy double. The red color is great-adds to the visibility, as is the included orange flag. It is easy to attach and detach from my bike.

I bought the Burley Honey Bee to replace an old InStep trailer. I was looking specifically for something with harness straps that can be lowered from the back panel for an infant or shorter child. After discovering the Burley line of trailers, and watching all the fabulous review videos the company has available, I was able to confidently make my choice. It arrived ready to assemble with easy directions (I put it together with my four small kids in the same room). The handle bar is SO adjustable my 6 year old can push it in the stroller mode. I have actually started using it as a jogging stroller and I would compare the easy of one handed pushing to my Bob duallie jogging stroller.It is very easy to connect back to my bike as well. The back flap can be lifted open to allow a breeze, and the mesh fabric and tinted windows blocks a good amount of the sun off my children. The storage area in the back is so large I'm not sure what I will ever fill it with, but having the option is nice. I love it so much I don't at all regret the higher price tag (when you can get a cheap one from Walmart).

I’d give it a solid 4.5 across the board. Fits two kindergarteners (5 years old) snugly. Much better for two smaller (slimmer) children. Overkill for one child, ample room for toys snacks and a tablet. Front wheel frequently drops into stroller mode while riding, but hasn’t caused a safety issue or damage, just annoying and could impact cornering on your bike. It was easy to put together in under 5 minutes without reading the instructions. I thought my tires were flat upon arrival, but I removed them and inflated them without issue, then reattached then to the carrier. Wish it were a tad bit more roomy for the price, but it may not fit on half of a bike path at that point.Use it as a luxury ride for one child or twins between 2-4 years old. If you’ve got really skinny kids you could probably go a little older, but the knees get a bit cramped as well.

Nice item, it is really great to have both kids to enjoy bicycling. The good:1) Two kids fit in nicely2) Easy to assemble (my wife managed to assemble the thing, without my help)3) Decent and maneuverable stroller for two kids4) Lightweight - for a two-kids stroller, and fairly compact when folded for storage or transportation5) Good size storage compartment at the back6) Nice looking, nicely trimmed with light reflectors for good road visibilityNot so good:6) The upper handle is hard to move on/ off7) When pushing bike with the unit attached to it, I had to hold bike far as the hitch intervene with legs... Walking a bicycle with the thing attachedis uncomfortable8) The net / rain covers,when attached, enable some elements in around passengers' feet area (or I hadn't figured out how to properly fasten the covers)

We use it to bike 2 miles to school, one way. My 5 year old and 1 year old are thin and have plenty of space. It's got space in the back for her backpack and that's a huge plus. Another plus is the lock on the back of the trailer, keeps it from moving when you don't want it to.Assembly and directions were easy to follow, we have used it in rain yet but I will update when we do.The ride is very smooth for the kids, I've learned to be very very slow when coming across speed bumps if you ride on the road. Cars always give us plenty of space and this does fit on the sidewalk if that's legal in your state.We've also used it as a jogger and what a smooth ride!A lot better than your typical stroller.

I have a four month old (12 lbs) and a six year old (40 lbs) and we needed something that would be able to carry them both for longer bike rides and then transform into a stroller for walks/runs. The Honey Bee performed amazing! Beyond my expectations. It was great quality and smooth ride. I barley noticed it was behind me even with both kids and storage area full. It has a huge storage area in the back, which was great for all the baby gear and picnic stuff. As with other reviews I found the assembly instructions overly complicated, it was much easier then they made it out to be. We looks at many other cheaper versions and I am very happy we ended up splurging for the higher quality one.

We are very happy with our Burley Honey Bee. Our son loves riding on it behind our bike, and even using it as a stroller. It seems to be very well built and definitely does the job. I do wish it has a recliner for when we take him somewhere and he wants to take a nap, but we didn't think that was worth the much higher price for the next model up. It also would be nice if you're carrying one person, they could stay in the middle rather than one of the sides as some of the other bike trailer brands offer. But again, this is definitely premium and well worth the investment. We are not disappointed!

I have my 1 yr old and my 5 yr old in this. I was worried that my 5 yr old would be too tall, but he fits great! Plus, it rides easy on the back of my bike! I barely notice it. Even when my husband is on his skate board holding on to the handle I don't notice the difference! Great buy and works wonderfully! Works great as a stroller too. Super smooth transition from trailer to stroller and easy to move around. Initially getting it to lock together was a little hard, but I am a little weak. I dont break it down between uses either, but the mechanics are simple enough. Definitely worth the money!

Outstanding build quality. The trailer is lightweight, incredibly sturdy, and rolls so smoothly you can push it around with a finger. I have to use the parking brake even on level surfaces because of how easily it rolls. I can barely feel it when it's attached to the bike. Simple to collapse and store or transport. It fit easily into my Yakima Skybox rooftop cargo carrier. The kids love it. Only criticism is that the handle for pushing it around off-bike doesn't hold its position well and will shift abruptly with normal pushing force. Kind of annoying, but still a five-star product.

We love it, and it's almost perfect. I'm also happy we didn't skimp and go with something cheaper, because I really like the build quality. The convertible stroller design didn't seem useful at first, given we have an actual jogging stroller. But that feature actually is very useful if you need to transport your child in a bind, and I use it every time we go out because we store our bikes in another location. Lots of storage space in the back.Perfect for camera kits, picnic supplies, etc. The stroller loses one star for lack of padding, we use

Finally got the right one. Buyer beware that there is two Burley honey bee models. Both on Amazon one has easy pull down stroller wheel other has a turn nob wheel. One has easy to use 5 point harness other one doesn't. They both are priced the same. This model also has a bracket for a light. This one has an easy insert and button lock for flag.Both this model and the other link on Amazon have similar description. The other honey bee description should actually be on this one. The other one is 2012-2013 model, this one is 2013-2014 model.

I've not tried others but before I bought this one I compared features and this one seemed like the safest and the best. I was absolutely correct. The quality of this product is top. Very easy to assemble, very light yet sturdy, aesthetically pleasing and you have to appreciate the details like the adjusting straps for height, the snack pockets inside and the rear storage. Took it for a spin not heavy at all, if you're in the market for a child trailer this is the one

This bike trailer has been a game-changer this summer! Getting my 18mo into it the first time was a bit of a challenge, but now whenever we pull it out she runs to go sit in it and loves going for rides. Easy to assemble and hook up to the bike, easy to pull. Sturdy and although it doesn't have some of the features of the more expensive models (padded harness, reclining seats) we really don't miss them. Countless hours of family fun, worth every penny!

I have a few problems with the stroller/trailer. Such as, it is too tight for 2 small toddlers. The way the screen closes, leaves it open at the bottom and easy for a child to reach out. It isn’t easy to assemble and disassemble. It is very bulky once it is collapsed. It is bare bones. The stroller should come with seat pads. And the yellow release button covers on the wheel fall out too easily. We already lost both of them.

I love this trailer. It offers a smooth very ride and we received it quickly. Love the spare compartment in behind the seats. Love the fact that you can park the bikes and use it as a stroller. The flex connector rubber (attached to the hitch) bends in all directions to allow you to lie the bike the trailer is attached to down flat. That is a nice feature as a lot of bikes don't have kick stands anymore.
