I have no idea what goes into this scent or indeed how to break it down.I do however know that it's easily one of the best scents I've ever had the pleasure to grace my nose with.Sweet but not sickly, fresh but not a kick in the teeth, sophisticated but not stuck up. And very very cosy.The kind of scent that'd be perfect for those cosy nights with the special lady in your life and I can guarantee you'll get nothing but compliments from her if you wear this.Perfect for the cold autumn/winter months or even for the cooler summer nights should an appropriate occasion arise.The stuff that memories are made of.

Batch 9252, age 10+ years, made in Germany (according to CheckFresh). Received very quickly to my surprise. One spritz on the neck last night as a test and I could still faintly smell it in the morning. Can't comment on the sillage at this time. I'm no expert on notes, I guess I can smell lavender and a hint of cinnamon, it is quite a pleasant scent.The presentation is very nice, I like the design of the bottle, the nozzle is quite difficult to see though, would be nice if the top had a small white dot indicator to let you know which way it's pointing. The ergonomics are not too great for someone who has small hands, but this is not too much of an issue as I am only going to be using the product once a day at most.Overall it's very good,

For me this is the best Burberry fragrance. It is more of a "grown up" smell. The "technical" details describe this product quite well so refer to those for a better description. The fragrance also lasts a long time (something important to consider.) I wouldn't usually order a fragrance without trying it in store, but if you haven't tried this than you won't go wrong. At the time of ordering (18 Dec 2012) this 100ml product cost £33.64 + £1.70 p&p and at the time of writing this review (28 Dec 2012) it is now £44.56. Cheeky!

I once got into a "Cologne phase" and was really interested in every cologne out there, Burberry London struck me as a scent had really good reviews on other websites and so I had to try it, to describe the smell I would say it feels like your in a forest, a forest covered in snow and autumn leaves, it has the smell of man and is for men obviously.My guy friend asked me if I was wearing my cologne one day after making him smell it the previous day, then he proceeded to smell me again, that's how good it is.

Although I did a decent bit of research beforehand online for great fragrances to wear during the colder months, BL was still a blind buy but worth. every. penny. The intial hit smells strong but definitely not unpleasant like peppery pine needles with a hint of lavender, but as it dry's down you get cinammon and an amazing rummy smell. Aaaaargggh do yourself a favour and buy. The moment on girls faces when you come inside out of the cold and take off your scarf off is priceless.

I’ve bought many smellys over the years but more so this year to find something I really like and at last I may have found a favourite. It lasts almost a day on me and projects fairly well, and smells a little different to most, like a warm feeling and as you have probably guessed I’m no specialist but my nose likes it a lot.

I was very impressed with the service, as first time buyer on Amazon was abit sceptical but desparetly for the Buberry London perfume!! Had a go . . . it was delivered next day although i had an email saying 7 days delivery and above all the product was original. For the price? I can't complain!!

This fragrance is Christmas. When I put it on it smells like Christmas to me I get brandy and plum and rich spices.It's value for money at roughly £20 for a 50ml bottle.There are better winter fragrance alternatives in the price range but not many.I say: buy it!

This is a fantastic spray. I guess you could use it any time of the year but i think it works best around xmas time and the colder months. I would say this sent would work with a 20 year old and up. I would buy this again, it's a must have in any collection.

This is an amazing winter scent, it just smells like Christmas!It’s smells more expensive then it is, it’s a crowed pleaser. Its 100% a blind buy, it’s rich and warm, it has great longevity and projection, it will always be in my collection

I chose this rating because the perfume is amazing, m favourite, the item was delivered faster than i expected, and overall the service was excellent. I would definately recommend this item to men and women as well.

My husband loves this fragrance. When he wears it i always say "that's nice, what is it?" its not that easy to get as its one of Burberry's older fragrances. this size is good for travel.

This is the real BURBERRY London . It’s one of my husbands favourites so have bought it from other suppliers . But it was a good price on Amazon

Burberry London smells great and lasts, not like cheap sprays. Very good price too. will be gettting this again for the husband. :)
