Innocently grown up… headily sophisticated… playfully floral. Burberry Brit has a more floral, almost fruity, scent than classic neutrals like Chanel No 5. It is also slightly sweet.Burberry suffered a minor brand disaster a few years ago when it became the choice for self-identified chavs, to the point that Burberry took steps to restrict who was buying its products. This scent fits well in with Burberry's intended market: city-dwellers in the countryside, or country-dwellers in the city. I'm writing this from a man's point of view with some technical input from my wife.I found this perfume "pleasant" without being "old people" flowery or cloying. Whist a flowery essence was present so was a subtle, modern spiciness.I'm assuming that the floweriness is the "soft floral heart notes of lush white peony" mentioned in the description, whilst the spiciness comes from the almond, mahogany and vanilla. I'd never be an advertising copywriter but this time the description could actually match up to the reality!I could even imagine my twenty-something daughter wearing this without problems as it is suitable for any age range. I must confess i am not skilled or expert on the subject of perfumes.I gave this to my mother who has used Chanel No.5 for most of her life.This scent is very light and floral. It is perhaps best described as delicate and in no way overpowering.It is a very attractive Eau de Toilette which apparently means it is lighter than a traditional perfume.It was originally created as a scented water, and that is a perfect description for Burberry Brit for women.The killer selling point for me was when my Mum informed me that she had decided to buy another bottle of the Burberry when this one runs out.Price wise it is a little cheaper than Chanel and that makes this scent excellent value for money.Finally i can say that from a mans perspective this is a lovely scent,

It's quite difficult to review a fragrance, because, generally, it's the kind of thing you either like or you don't. Burberry Brit has a scent that I quite like and, sadly, my wife really doesn't. It has a light, slightly citrus, slightly almond smell with a warm, floral, almost talcum-powder like undercurrent. I think it is rather pleasant, but, as my wife has said that she isn't keen on it and that the smell was starting to give her a headache, this will be the last I will probably catch a whiff of it in this house. It's a shame, because I think it's quite understated compared to some of the more powerful fragrances on the market. It comes in an attractive,

Rather than dive in a few seconds after receiving this product, I decided to wait and see if after a week or two, if the scent was one I'm happy to keep on using.In short it is.Slightly longer, assessing smells is entirely personal. What smells great either on me or in the bottle is all down to your own preference. This is why I never buy perfume for my wife that isn't one of two that due always chooses.For me this Burberry is a pleasant smell...a little goes a long way. So if you're a splash it on with abandon you're likely gassing your friends and loved ones. For me less is more. And as others have said, the smell seems to last longer than other products.In summary,

Yeah, I like this one. The tonka bean element though will date quickly, so this is a purchase for now rather than a classic.Mod factor - 6.5. Yeah, it's Burberry innit. But for me a true mod scent needs to be less tonka-ey. Tonka bean is fine, but slightly hippyish. (And undeniably 2014 like beardy sideshed Williamsburg sleevetats data startup plaid shirt craft beer startup.) If you're the kind of mod who listens to King Crimson and Pink Floyd (like I do, in secret) then tonka is ok. But there's also a strong element of genericism here. Sting's character in Quadrophenia would probably wear this, but not Spider or Jimmy because it ain't bleedin' cool enough.Geezer factor - see above

Fragrance is very subjective and the same one can work differently for each person. However my reaction.I ordered this because I have been using the same eau de toilette for many years and lately this classic has smelt stale. I needed something fundamentally different.Brit Rhythm is in a modern shaped bottle with a surface design with a subtle reference to the classic Burberry check: was not overpowering but lingered for a long time - it is now eight hours since I applied it and I can still catch the scent.It felt fresh and vibrant – the advertising states it is a youthful fragrance and I can appreciate that but it works well whatever your age.I am glad I ordered it.

This spray eau de toilette comes in a smart black and silver box, and the glass bottle inside is dark grey with an etched surface, classy. Burberry Brit Rhythm for Men is hardly a name that slips off the tongue - but perhaps it will become known as Burberry Brit when someone asks "Hmmm, what is that scent you are wearing?" And I expect people will ask, because it is a full and long lasting fragrance with very male cedar/leather/smoky tones. I really like it, and my wife approves too. Go and try it for yourself, scents are a personal thing, and if you decide to buy then go for the larger size which is better value for money than the 30ml I had for review purposes.

As a long term wearer of Chanel, I am quite fussy about scents that I wear. I was delighted to find this incredible sexy, sensuous yet soft scent at an incredible value for money price. It is a remarkably sophisticated scent, that subtly changes over time, but doesn't overpower.The packaging is reassuringly simple, yet beautifully classy. It makes a lovely gift, either for someone else or even for yourself.A point to note, is longevity. Over the course of 4-5 hours, the scent had evaporated and needed reapplying. Fine for an evening, but a consideration for daytime wear.Highly recommended.

This was my first experience of a Burberry perfume, and if they are all as lovely as this one, it won't be my last.The light, fresh fragrence is perfect for everyday wear. The floral notes are light, airy and definitely not cloying.The bottle & packaging are of the high standard that I would expect from a company like Burberry. And this 30ml size is perfect for your handbag.So, if light, fresh, floral & zingy fragrances are your bag, this perfume could be perfect for you .

Both teenage son and myself like the aroma from this. What we both thought was that the cardamom scent seemed to be the strongest one in it. Lasts all day and nice shaped bottle that’s not too bulky for carting around son thought. Looks stylish on the bedroom shelf too. Cost wise one worth trying the scent of if a store to see if it’s your thing. There is a matching female version of this too which I use (just finished it recently) and think so good.

Surprisingly good for a relatively middle-priced fragrance, given the knocks Burberry has had to face for appealing to Middle England.It is youthful, with cardammon, black leather and cedarwood vying for your senses.It is youthful in that it is sparing of the floral and lavender high tones of traditional men's fragrances.The cedarwood base gives it stickability after the top notes have gone.My rating is 7.5 out of ten.

Objectively reviewing a scent is close to impossible though both my wife and I agree that this scent is relatively delicate compared to some of the competition - it certainly doesn't overpower. My subjective feeling is that I rather like it as I'm not a fan of the attention-grabbing scents that some women favour with their often lingering chemical odour. This is a really nice quite masculine Eau de Toilette that smells fresh and, unlike many other similar scents, actually seems to last quite a while when applied. So many of these colognes are so subtle and short-lived that any smell seems to have vanished in no more than a few minutes, but this is great as it really does hang around. Very pleased with this.

The scent comes in a stylish Burberry box & this is consistent theme with the compact and attractive bottle inside. It really does stand out from other perfumes straight away. The scent itself is classic Brit, delicate but not overpowering - a mix of citrus and floral that I really loved. It is delicate on the skin too. I love it and so does my daughter.
